Job Search by ZipRecruiter

I love the job availability, but the AI needs some work. I can't possibly be a great match for pediatric dentist, OB/GYN, and office manager. Also, it needs the ability to permanently turn off a particular listing so I'm not having to dismiss the same ones every time the app is opened.

If you accidentally hit the apply for job button it will immediately send your resume and you can't unapply. So I just ended up sending an outdated resume to a job I was interested in because the dog jumped on me and I dropped my phone. If there is a job I'm really interested in I like to send a personalized cover letter and a resume that emphasizes my skill sets for that particular job. So now I just feel like a doofus. Not a great way to start a job search!

Love using the website through a computer but this app is incredibly frustrating. It seems to only show me Indeed results which is odd, it will not let me upload my resume to apply for jobs (even though my resume is saved to my account) and half of what you click won't load or do anything at all. On the computer I can apply using my resume but on the app it will only allow me to enter everything manually. Guess I'll stick with my Indeed app since that's all this one shows anyways.

Zip recruiter advertises as follows; get hired faster, download the zip recruiter app. I've not noticed any difference. And there's no anecdotal evidence that this is so. The fact is that 'Phil' the AI sends out a bunch of irrelevant listings ( compared to what I want ). Downloading the app only seems to result in getting more irrelevant results. The app is bloatware and I will very likely delete it before long.

This has been really easy to use once I got a footing on it. All of the quick time jobs that have a general area has help me to atlest try. The simple format of applying also makes it easy. Like ya if it work then cool if not then it wasn't that much of a waste. I have applied foe atleast fifteen different jobs in the last two days. Not saying I'll get one but it was hard. The interview process was also good. The questions of my views, stands, and thoughts on the company rules shown my options.

Extremely helpful and easy to apply for a posted position. I receive notifications from Ziprecruiter immediately upon my applying for a position advising me that the employer has received my resume. Ziprecruiter also notifies me when my resume was viewed by the employer looking to hire. It's thus far, been a great experience with Ziprecruiter. And, yes, employers really do find your resume and reach out to you if they're interested in your resume.

Best job searching tool out. Thanks zip recruiter. You guys have been very helpful. I mean instead of having to fill out a separate application for each job you can one quick apply after you make your profile. And then you have a recruiter bot. That looks and sends you jobs that are ones like the ones you applied for. Very quick and easy also very quick on email updates. I mean for real after discovering ZipRecruiter I don't think I'll ever have to go 'Job Hunting' again. Love u guys

Love the functionality the fact that you get email updates on jobs you applied for and suggested jobs is great. Love the feature that tell you when a employer has reviewed your application and how many times they have done so. Additionally it's super easy to apply. Only concern is that some jobs are listed in the search but you can't apply to them cause there not part of ziprecruiter . Idk why they are listed

Aside from the job listing, search jobs and profile, I am unable to change the email displayed on my profile. I keep getting a message about my connection, but it allows me to change other info in my profile without issue. Lazy developers can't be bothered to put out a decent error msg. No way to contact support.

I absolutely love being sent a message telling me when my resume has been reviewed. Great feature!! The app is super computer friendly. I've seen no video ads, just still photo but you can skip over them

I used to really like the app but now there are too many links to other job sites and some extremely spammy stuff. I tried to apply for a few jobs and it took me to other job search sites that start spamming you telling you that you have interviews and things like that and it's just spam. What happened to zip recurter. It's hard enough to try and find a job in today's conditions without this nonsense.

I love this app. I have found 2 jobs off of here, considering the first one was 3 years ago and I ended up being laid off. Got back on here and within a week found my next great job. It's all in what you search. If you are looking at something you don't want, well that's your own fault. It's going to filter what you look at. Good luck on your job search!!!

I would have to say this is one of the best job hunting apps out there. It's convenient and very easy to use. I like the fact you can customize you profile to your liking and upload your resume straight to the app. The one touch apply is a plus for to. I highly recommend this app if your on the job hunt.

A lot off great matches! I have 3 sched interviews already within 1 week with trustworthy companies! I received a call and an email directly from a hiring manager within to see if I was available to do a phone interview at that time, I did have time, and completed. 2nd was sched. for the next day. It went great! Unfortunately it was a temp-perm, and I can only take a permanent position. ZipRecruiter is very simple to use and navigate.

I like the quick apply option but I don't like that the same jobs that I dismissed 12hrs or more prior still show up the next time I open the app. It's not making the search any quicker. Also some of the jobs that are third party posted never load!

After having a bad experience and not getting appropriate jobs sent to my inbox, I gave this a two-star review and was asked to give a second chance. I have been using this app for less than 2 weeks and the amount of spam calls that I've been receiving have quadrupled. I don't think this is coincidental. Any job that was sent my way was always the same regardless of what kind of response I gave. I do not feel the other reviews on here are legitimate.

The app is useless. The notifications never send jobs that you have even set up in the parameters of what you are looking for. I dont have a CDL nor have I looked for a driving job and yet, I'm suggested driving positions daily. It's almost as if they don't read your resume or profile. They don't even use recent searches to suggest similar jobs. Support is useless as well. I've gotten more opportunities in the last decade, Walking through the door and applying. I guess ZipRecruiter isn't for me.

This is one of the best apps if you need ANY kind of JOB! After Covid all bets were off and I had to figure out how I was going to make money ...I've applied to everything from server jobs to warehouse and corporate gigs and without fail this app helped me apply with ease saving me time and really made me look alot more " together" then I really was...also when your application is being veiwed u get a notification . ...that helped me figure out if the company was serious!

Very organized and user friendly app. Ziprecuiter seems to have implemented an AI within their app experience and made the search response game a bit easier to navigate. Well done.

Tons of employers have contacted me ever since I created my account! As I type, I HAVE 4 ORIENTATIONS IN PROGRESS! I SWEAR BY THIS APP!!! 💯💪🏾 However, Ive found a few discrepancies;!!! I often get spam emails from BOT Phil, and Al that has nothing to do with my search criteria. Also the website prompts you to download the app, but it just loops me back to the website! Oh, might I add... Some jobs you cant even apply to. Often it'll lead you to a third party!

Navigation is great. The job listing pull up exactly what you are looking to apply 👌 You get up-to-date information/alerts. You are easily able to manage your search.

Easy one click way to send my resume but it crashes my phone so many times. It doesn't even lock/unlock so i have to completely turn off my phone till i can restart. Tbh very good app but so many bugs that can be improved

I like the app due to it's convenience. The one tap apply is easy and fast and I appreciate that. The list of jobs present is usually extensive, so you have numerous options. I've been using this app for about 7 years now and I don't have any complaints about it, but that doesn't mean there haven't been issues for others using the app. I think it's worth the time to utilize this app in your job search.

The minor issue is navigating through the app. It could be a little more user friendly. IE: Access to saved job-searches.
