Love the content but accessing can be impossible. Most options when clicked simply create a white screen. When I find a position I have interest in, I have to look it up elsewhere to apply. Previously viewed postings will never open to anything other than a white screen.
I'm not able to upload the resume. After selecting the resume file with import resume, upload resume button is not available. Fix this immediately. Also, not able to apply for a job. After clicking on "Apply on career site", nothing happens.
You shouldn't need to install an app to disable email notifications. I installed the app to disable emails notifications, only to find I already had, yet continue to receive emails, up to five a day. Dont give your email to this company unless you want to be plagued by constant unstoppable emails.
The Job listing part is decent, but how am I supposed to apply if the Application links are all broken? I keep trying to apply to many jobs and none of them are working right and instead open up a seperate window of the same job listing, no notice. That defeats the whole purpose I downloaded this. I hope an update is around the corner because there are promising features I enjoy in this. Unfortunately, I cannot rate this as a superior app for job-searching at the moment until the bug goes away.
They got rid of the ability to see company benefits on the app but also if you have the app and you try to open a link to glassdoor in your mobile browser it automatically opens in the app. The only way to see a company's benefits is to google "[company name] benefits" and then click the direct link to the benefits page. This makes finding a company's benefits a giant pain.
I truly do not understand what is wrong with this app. Constant crashing. Trying to write a review? There's an 89% chance it crashes halfway through and you have to start all over. Want to look at your past contributions? Oh, sorry, you need to go to a new page and log in again, but only about 50% of the time. Completely random nonsense. It's the only thing holding the app back. I recommend just using the desktop website instead.
Scam data farming app/site that forces you to make an account, add your place of employment, salary, other personal data and your own review before you can even browse the site to see how it works. Signs you up for spam emails when you make the account with no opt out besides the unsubscribe in the email which probably won't actually do anything. Super glad I used a junk email for this one.
The app works pretty well. However, it is a bit quirky in phone mode. I have found that it will not allow you to 'easy apply' sometimes. This could be because it is of a 'pop up' design which isn't a good idea. But, I just switch to another device to cope with this.
Horrible, useless app. Way too many email job alerts..for jobs I'm not searching for; jobs in other states; and for the same jobs over and over. How about only new jobs and ones that match my criteria?! Cannot edit, delete or stop alerts - just get error messages. Can't delete account. Emails to support go unanswered. I'm removing the app and reporting email alerts as spam. Don't bother with this app or the web version. JUNK
Unfortunately this app is useless, not user friendly at all. Searches bring up all types of random things. I can not find a review I submitted even after it was approved. I am only seeing a limited list of available jobs while the company's website shows the opposite. Not useful for jobseekers. Please take a look at the negative reviews and try to fix the issues. Thank you!
Junk app. I am unable to apply for any job because when I hit "apply now" it continually brings me back to the ad. It also sends back to back text messages all day. Total waste of time setting up my profile.
App is good for finding info from employees of companies, but the incessant push notifications are beyond annoying. I've turned off all notifications and am still getting them. And they're completely useless notifications trying to get users to open the app when they have no reason to.
So it may be just me but so far every time I put in an application it seems to be loading. It shows the glass door icon and seems like it keeps doing multiple tabs and I end up waiting a little bit the get off the app. The next time I get on it and go to my applications it's blank. So am I just being to impatient or is it just messing up?
Way too many notifications. Deep link handling is sub-par and often doesn't navigate correctly in-app. All of my "easy apply" button presses have opened an external tab to Indeed, where I'm not signed in and thus enter everything manually; If there's any *other* way that Glassdoor handles "easy apply," then there should be a distinction between that and external links to places like Indeed. Oh, and as a more personal suggestion: dark mode is a great addition to any app.
Not a social media platform but the data it stores exceeds the data stored by even top social media platforms. Very crazy. So many functions doesn't work like keyword search, filter, etc. Reviews sorting also breaks.
Every time that I save a job I can't see it, the app doesn't work right. They should fix it cause is really annoying that I have to open the website every time I want to see the save jobs.
The 'Easy Apply' option hardly works. Once you touch the 'Easy Apply', it refreshes back to the same screen. Why is there is a function that cannot be used?
I consistently have trouble submitting an application through the app. I tried updating the app today and I found no difference. I've also found that it doesn't matter what you search for, the search results are all over the place and usually give you the polar opposite of what you asked for. Not to mention the fact that it just keeps giving you the same results over and over again, AND it keeps job postings from as far back as over a year ago. Overall: L A M E
Glassdoor has been my primary way of searching for a new career and beats the competition by providing a cleaner, less cluttered, and all around better user interface. I've enjoyed this app for looking for my next career and I think you will too.
Buggy, poorly organized, and the search function is all but useless. The filters on job searches do not work and constantly return only results that are against the filter, filtering out all of the desirable results. Salary information for a specific job is difficult to access if not in the listing itself.
Great research tool for investing as well as job search. However, I'd like more control on what notifs I get (less nudges to apply to followed cos).
Terrible experience. First of all, the app fails to connect while applying for jobs. The message app retrieving is, "site took long to respond". Then you go to website and see, it's out of sync. Things you do on the app isn't reflecting on the site. Poor AI or algorithm: Recommendations on the site hardly matches the results. The only advantage is You can specifically understand whether a job is remote or on-site. And majority of companies have no logo.
Difficult to navigate, login with email doesn't work when you don't already have an account, no way to create one via email, password reset doesn't send anything.
So many push notifications (13 or so in the last 45 mins) and very buggy, clicking jobs and being taken to blank page, lists of jobs can show jobs outside search parameters etc. Shame as its a nice clean interface.
Unable to submit company reviews within app, keeps erroring out even after restart and trying to reenter. No other error in information available and all checks point to good text "everything looks good/keep going/etc"... I do notice the industry type at very end goes away for some reason and there isn't a max text character count per field, if one exists... Otherwise all else appears to work and is well.
This App has become way too buggy and inconsistent. This extends to searching for jobs using filters ..they don't work. Applying for a specific job... constantly crashes while in the middle of the process. Uploading/Revising resumes and cover letter...not able to. Even trying to load saved jobs...doesn't work more often than not.
