This app really sucks!! It needs a bug fix or there needs to be customer support to troubleshoot. I downloaded this app today looking for jobs, and I logged/signed up which isn't a legitimate signup process. When you upload your resume to your profile, and try to apply to jobs. It doesn't save your resume when applying to jobs. I'm being views as a guest , and tell you to upload a resume after uploading it already to apply for jobs and it doesn't work no matter what
I can't figure out how to sync the jobs I save on my phone app to my account on the computer. I like browsing from my phone, but when I apply, I prefer to use my laptop. I log in with the same account credentials, however the saved jobs do not show up when I log in through my laptop, so searching from my phone is basically useless and I'll probably just delete the app. I tried the "contact us" section to see if I could get help, but that just sent me to a Q&A section and the only question on there about saved jobs didn't address the issue.
Great app, easy to use and I really enjoyed it. However, the reason why I uninstalled it and also why I'm writing this review is because every time I would attempt to apply for a job I would attach my resume, fill out all questions and when I clicked apply it wouldn't let me. This red text would pop up and say "There was a problem submitting your resume please try again later." I uploaded my resume to the app, I even have it shared between indeed and my simply hired profile. That sucks.
This app installed without my permission or request after showing up as an intrusive ad that would not go away. Tapping the wrong spot (anywhere but that microscopic "x") apparently triggered an immediate install without asking for permission. To top it all - it doesn't work. Just hangs after starting. I immediately uninstalled.
pretty straightforward and easy to use, though it's really inconvenient to have to go through and set up the job filters (distance, etc) every time i open the app. it's also annoying to have to upload my resume every single time.
They have the BEST jobs listings in LA, CA. I quickly applied for several fashion production jobs (better listings than the agency dedicated to fashion staffing) BUT go thru the website. Don't miss out on opportunities bcuz they're app sucks. Use the website!
Why can I not sign in using my email, anymore?? That's how I started my account years ago when I signed on through the browser. Now you can only sign in through FB or Google. And when I tried to open a new account through Google, the upload resume feature isn't even working. Uninstalling. Never found a job through this app, anyway.
I had tried quite a few job search apps and this one I love. Simply Hired isn't complicated to apply with. You can upload a resume. It does give you the qualifications that are required of a job position. And it has resources and tools to make your job search all the more pleasant. One tap simple apply❤
This app is super easy to use! It's clean and makes things pretty simple. One of my favorite things is when you click on a job you are interested in, it shows you the qualifications you need to have right at the top instead scrolling through everything to find them.
Every time you switch to another app it kicks you out of your search. When you are looking at a listing and hit the back button, it doesn't take you back to your spot in the list, it takes you to the bottom of the list. The recent searches don't save filters you used on your search.
Works fine but there are some small interface issues on my moto power. Best feature is the remembered searches that only shows the new jobs so you don't have to keep scrolling through the same jobs every week.
I can only speak for myself and from my own experience. I downloaded the app, uploaded my resume, sent it to 2 company, one got back to me, setup an interview, i went did my thing, and was hired on the spot. So I believe this is a great app. But my experience, work history, and personality played a major part in me getting the job. I would've never know about that company hiring if not for this company. So I am grateful to them.
Having serious issues signing in. The website itself is great! But the app keeps crashing every time I want to log on. I had to uninstall. When you guys get it situated, I'd love to download it.
This app does NOT work. Ive tried everything from uninstall and re-install and still every time I try to apply it kicks it back with a error msg!! Tried to get help but nobody answer email.. If I could give it zero I would.
Has lots of jobs I want and easy to use. Would be great except it spits an error every time I apply, across multiple devices. Have tried the "contact us" function but received no response. Devs, any ideas?
So far okay, would be better if the app did not reset job listing when locking the phone or leaving the app. And this is when you're looking at all listing or the details of one specific listing.
Unfortunately the app does not allow signing in. This removes much of its functionality. Two stars for the swiftness and convenience otherwise. +2 stars when functions as advertised.
Just looking through the app over a whole 2 day period it dispatches very positive opportunities. Today's social media gives us all the info we may need. It's to pinpoint the actual spot and land the target it what humans have to decifer. Basically most apps are information gathering from keywords. The more information you get the less likely that post is not open. Or may need to be updated toward that job specifics, or human resources is unaware of the open close dates.
Just started using this to browse jobs and so far so good. Good interface and it seems like the majority of postings provide a salary range which is very nice.
getting to the point of uninstalling the app. EVERY SINGLE TIME you "back out" of a jpb posting after viewing OR applying for it..you have to REAPPLY THE SAME FILTERS. every time? this is pretty remedial stuff, guys. fix it.
It won't let me upload a resume. And you can't manual do one on the site! I been using indeed for years it's by far the best job search site out there. I'm uninstalling this one!
The Simply Hired app is as straight forward as they come. They deliver exactly what they say they do; great jobs and no b.s. If you're struggling to find gainful employment you've come to the right place. Love this app! 10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend!
Simple to use and find job ads. Really detailed and informative on the job descriptions.
Nice selection of stuff, well laid out, not sure how accurate it is with regard to current status of job openings but that is true for every employment app...but this is hands down my favorite in a very crowded field.
New user all seems fine but what I would be interested to see is the jobs which one applied for option. My rating is based on being a new user and I'm not sure how effective it'll work.
App still will not let me apply to any jobs. Says it needs all valid entries, it's saying I don't even know my own name!! This is the 2nd and last time I'll ever install it to look for a job.
No matter the attempts I am unable to apply for a job and continue to receive the same message stating that there is an error. The updates to the app do not change the app.
This app won't let me log into it on phone but will let me on a computer. I reached out for tech support and they don't even answer your emails and try and help u fix the issue.
I typed a really great cover letter telling all about my experiences (which mirror what you are looking for) At hastings Entertainment superstore. I was their Human Resoures Mgr. After a few months my tile had, Recruitment Specialist added to it. I Loved that job! Pouring over applicatios and doing quick phone interviews. Meeting the people I'd picked, interviewing & Testing the interviews!.I had the freedom to conduct my interviews in my own fashion, i did everything and more, than You need!
Not a bad app compared to using the website. Although one bad thing, once you apply for a job, it doesn't give you an option to return to where you left off in the search results. You basically have to start the search over again and scroll down to where you left off. Also would be good if it somehow flagged a job as applied for once you apply so you can ignore or hide that result
