Job Search - Snagajob

I mainly use indeed so I figured I could see even more jobs and hopefully a variety if I got snagajob. Nope. I can scroll on it for 5 minutes and it's the same 3 or 4 jobs/companies repeated over and over and over and over. Super annoying and inconvenient. Even the setup of the app is unattractive and not especially user friendly. Definitely not worth taking up space on my phone.

I personally liked the old version of this app because it gave me more filters and posted jobs that were actually near me. Now it shows jobs that are in another state and there isn't an actual way to make it, even 5 miles from me, to have it at my zip code as the app requires. Simplistic menus are easy but not when you're trying to find a job that is close. Sorry guys... :(

There is an issue with the App crashing at random on the first page of an application. This is clearly a major inconvenience when trying to fill in forms and can become very frustrating after multiple attempts to complete a single application. Others seem to be experiencing the same problem and the fact that this has not been addressed is a huge oversight on the developers end. I hope to see improvements or I will not continue using this app only to lose my progress repeatedly. Good luck.

I liked the old layout better.. it was more clear and the 1-click apply worked MUCH EASIER. I am a bit annoyed that I there is no way to ensure that the DATE (newest to oldest) doesn't retain it's setting when I select it in the "additional filters" .. this used to be an amazing app, now's it's a bit scattered and I don't enjoy using it as much, as I feel it's become.a hassle

This app does not work at all. It pops up jobs hiring in the area but it will not open the menu bar to see my profile or applications I have submitted. I have to go into the browser online to even get anything done. It needs to be fixed or removed because some people find apps more convenient than online.

It's great for finding jobs in the area but trying to do the application is a serious hassle. Most of the time the applications do not fit well with the phones screen. Takes a long time to get from one part of the application to another with how slow it is. Resets my application from time to time. Great idea poor execution

Not sure why, but I can't update my job history and it constantly says that I've never had a job before... it's confusing and not working. Also, the app doesn't clear out old postings that are irrelevant and w9nt let me look for 3rd shift on its own. The developer needs to update their software to take out all the non relevant posts and get rid of bs work from gone posts that aren't legit.

I can't even sign into my account. It keeps asking me to sign up and no option to sign in. Just tells me there's already an account with my email. Duh... I've never had an issue in the past with old versions of the app. Guess I'm not using SnagAJob for this job hunt cause I'm not creating a new account just to be able to use the app instead of the mobile website.

instead of being convenient for the person trying to get a job, it's convenient for the peraon looking for employees. I have gone thru my share of employment options on this app and ive always had to go in to the place and leave my contact info a week later. The employers do not check the online apps unless you go in person to ask them too. They might as just have an interview in person because it would be much quicker. I've been waiting 3 weeks and I've checked on them 3 times. online=garbage.

The app itself is pretty easy to navigate and I see the jobs on this site are Blue Collar jobs that require little formal education to reach the the qualifications for the jobs listed. Most jobs require a minimum of a high school diploma or maybe a 2-4 year degree for management positions, or a class A license. I am not saying they are bad jobs, just jobs that require little criteria to get the job.

App is horrible for job searching Downloaded it about a week ago and applied for work at places and noticed that I haven't gotten anything back from them. Checked on applications and says I haven't sent any but when I check on the places I sent an application it says I have so im confused. Made a new account with a different email and deleted it and re downloaded it checked my emails and everything still nothing.

Tried to fill out my work experience but unless I had a title that is in already in their list there is no ability to save my previous roles in order to complete my profile to apply for positions. Makes the entire app and site unusable. Bummed.

app is total garbage. first its interface is bs and you dont really even know if the place your applying for is getting the application. users note: if you dont get a conformation email that means you did all that for nothing. second there should be options for a more personalized usage depending on each indivisual including a option that shows jobs that felons can work for. and last but not least the notifications... stop sending me notifications that dont relate to what i apply for.

Absolute garbage. App worked fine for years until a recent update. Now the 'customer support' makes it seem like im doing something wrong. Very unprofessional. I uninstalled the app and i advise anyone reading this review to do the same.

It was just not as convenient as the indeed app and that's aside from the one click application choice given by indeed. also I don't know if I was searching incorrectly or if I just didn't have any opportunities for a job in my area. I couldn't find something that would guide me towards what I was looking for with no extra links. Instead, redirected towards other websites instead of opening the application on your app, because who's to say manager from that job does their job tire me

App flashes black when I click apply for any job on any page. I have used this service many times in the past and I am surprised by all the problems it now has.

I've always had pretty good luck with gaining employment through using Snagajob. It's always been pretty convenient as far as it saving my entire resume' so it doesn't take as long to continue to fill out more applications bc they've already got all your information saved from the last time you updated it. So it's definitely been a great help for me since I've been using it for the past 5-6 years. So thank you so much for creating such a helpful & reliable App/Website.

App is difficult to use. There isn't an option to add a job role. This means I cannot add my current job as a notary public and signing agent. Suggested job leads are not relevant. I'm not able to modify the job interests that were apparently system generated and include interests that I have no interest in.

"Easy Apply" is a Wonderful feature! Thank You. Job notices without this feature only create additional links that send the applicant to other websites. Thus entering personal information twice on two different platforms. It hinders the hiring process and questions the program's effectiveness.

If you're looking for an rudimentary, entry level job, this app is for you. Not to say their isn't crud on here (survey taker jobs, etc.), but it seems to be legitimate if you're looking for something in the entry level area, and and at least in my area, the vast majority of jobs are for restaurants.

The app/site doesn't give me positions relative to my experience/industry, and it doesn't give me results for the radius I specify in the search. Also, the password reset link in the Android app doesn't direct me anywhere and I had to use a web browser to reset my password through the external website. I haven't used the site/app to actually apply for a job but I'm sure there are more issues with that as well.
