This app is a very innovative idea, pooling different job boards into one place. I find it very useful, but slightly difficult to navigate. It will be better if we can set filters for our job search criteria, so that we can get specific results. Also the current page layout makes it confusing to navigate and save jobs of interest.
Why bother crawling thru different job websites, when u can have it all at the distance of few clicks in Job rio!
Also you can't apply from within the app, it just sends you to external job websites.
It aggregate most of the place one look for jobs. Love it
Multiple job searches in one app
Most of job sites have stopped working. Is the app still supported?
... lately. Results brought back totally irrelevant to the search keyword(s) used...
All jobs from all search engines are always posted in a random date posted order. Some are at the top or beginning of the results that are months, even a year old with others posted hours ago several listing screens deep. You may have a year old listing followed by a hours old listing followed by one that is months old. Who cares what posted months ago? I expect newest posting to be shown first, those that are new are buried within random old listing. Simply hired has returned no jobs now for weeks "mechanic or maintenance" but the same search on Simply hired search engine produces several using the same filter.
There are duplicate postings all over the place (on the same job board and beteween boards). The only filter seems to be 'days old', others like full time/part time, and permanent/temporary would be really helpful. When you click on the job you want you get about a 3 line description instead of the full posting. Having to click the 'view and apply' button and wait 10-20 seconds to view the job requirements is annoying. Just not a smooth app and very limited in features.
Search function is a joke, just searches descriptions of jobs from other sites.
This saves me from having to install apps for and search 15 different major job sites!
Thanks ... Very nice easy swipe ui. Seems to run better too
The only thing I don't like is that the searxh function does not support the use of quotation marks for exact phrases.
Wont find what I typed in
Search results should be aggregated. Having to change tab to see the results from one site to another is similar to having a web browser with many tabs open which defeats the purpose of an app. Since the purpose of this app is to search for jobs, the website of where it was found is less relevant (it could be indicated only by a small note). Combine all websites results into 1 single list that can be sorted by publication date or distance or website and you'll get 5 stars. Thanks.
Its good app.....
If only I could find a big girl job!
Thanks for helping.
This has a lot of bugs in it, and they know them. Virtually useless in the UK.
The app is useful in telling me what corporations are hiring but the areas they tell me are usually way off from the distance that I entered and some job postings, like 40% of them, have absolutely no relevance to the search I made. The "apply to job" button is next to useless as it is a pain to open and does not transfer any account information into it. I'd rather take note of the places that are hiring and apply from their website on a computer because that button is such a pain. Needs improvement.
Currently, I'm trying to get unemployment and am diligently searching for another job. I find the application pretty cool! It lists what's available in my area (and within however far I want it to) for my qualifications. However, I wish that there were a way to apply via computer as it take sooooo much time via my Android to fill out an application. Any way this can be "fixed"? Sure would make filling out applications a whole heck of a lot easier!!
Seems to work though I only just started using it. Have yet to find a job that I haven't found elsewhere...that is relevant. Of course I found several great jobs that were posted 6 months ago! (not really that helpful but prolly not this app's fault)
There are some jobs that are totally unrelated to my search term as well as another province from the province that I searched. Another issue is the performance. Sliding between job engine stutters a lot. But I give 3 stars for the great design. It pleasing to the eyes. I hope the app improves as time goes!
OK! A-OK. Just have to say dev answered all of the reviews, and most of what seems to be resolutions to the problematic "bugs" and also detailed guidance to troubleshoot the reviewer through the process step-by-step and offer direct support if needed. If this dev has put the effort into THE "Google of employment resources with a keenly focused target group of search engines that he has his 5 star support you can tell me where to invest$ because this is SUPPORT , this is GREAT at to see.
I have had issues with starring jobs to check out later and when I look back at saved jobs, some or none of the ones I've saved are there. At this point im stuck emailing jobs to myself but wish there was a better way.
Kept bringing up totally unrelated jobs to the fields that I searched. Try it for yourself if you dont believe me. I will be deleting and trying something else. What a waste of my time.
That's ashame hopefully hear something back maybe soon.
More ads than music. Don't bother.
This used to be the best job search app but many of the APIs are now broken and devs have not fixed it in ages.
