The dev is mostly unresponsive so I'll just post here. The sync is only incremental. Meaning if you delete a ROM on your device that was previously synced to Dropbox and backup again, it won't delete the file from the cloud. Sync should be able to handle additions and deletions as the goal of 'syncing' is to make states equal.

Won't work. First I tried to tranfser the files manually from one device to another exactly how they were originally and it didn't work. Then I found this. I was so happy, but after many attempts, I can't get my save file from my tablet to my phone on john emulator. Thats 6 hours worth of gameplay I can't have access to on my phone. Great concept, just can't use it. Pretty bummed.

Broken and useless. I copied a savefile into Dropbox on my PC, then opened John GBA to play Pokémon for a hour. I enabled auto sync. When I was done it downloaded the old file again, replacing and erasing the progress I made playing on my phone.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS You have no clue how glad I am to have my game saves back from my old phone. I couldn't get the save files to transfer properly by cord or automatic phone transfer programs. You have my undying gratitude. My recovered pokemon thank you. <3

Please make it Android TV compatible. It's not currently available from Google Play Store for Android TV. Sideloading APK works great, but would be better to use the build in Play Store.

I luv the fact you can sycn all your gameplay with this app and have it in your Dropbox so hopefully when I get a new phone, I will be able to play the same games that I played on my last phone😁👍🏽

Over all great but I have one issue is that it is not compatible with samsung data sync or whatever it was called

I finally got it to work. Can't tell you how, I just messed around with the dropbox in settings. Thank you. 5 stars now.

good for transfering save files. although it didnt work with my gba games. is there someway to fix this?

Pretty good tbh i am only using this cause i wanna transfer my pokemon emerald save cause honestly i ain't bout to play through that game again it worked so i am happy now time to get the regi trio

Got it working, but now when going into the Dropbox settings John GBC crashes.

Good but would like to see other Cloud Storage services, ideally Google Drive.

It doesn't work, very bad app. I lost my game data multiple times. Don't waste your time.

This does so much to your system! You can play any game, and save your progress!

Side-loaded this thing onto Android Wear in addition to my phone. It took all of my tech skills and patience to get signed in to Dropbox on my watch (ended up side-loading firefox and typing my username and password via the "adb shell input text" command) but now my saves sync between my watch and phone (sweet!)

John emulators are the best! They're free, WiFi is not required, no adds when playing offline, and saving game data for transfer to multiple devices make this unbeatable! You can play pretty much any game found on these systems. Cheats, save states, slow down/speed up, and various other features have made these the emulators to emulate!

I'm so happy this exists! I've been playing the GBA emulator on my Chromebook but I'm going away this weekend and don't want to bring it along. I just downloaded this on on my Chromebook and my phone. The upload/download was simple. I haven't Enabled Auto Sync yet, but I'll give it a try sometime.
