When I try to sign in and put in my details, I receive the message 'technical error, please try again'. This has happened for 2 consecutive days and has coincided with the upgrade 2 days ago. I de-installed and reinstalled twice. I have no issues signing in on laptop.
Horrendous Ordered an item via the app, I corrected my address, set it as default and proceeded to secure checkout. Went to payment, got redirected, made payment, money was deducted, returned to app only to find I'd been logged out. Logged back in, order not completed, item still in basket. Address back to old one. Please fix the app, it's useless if I'm forced to use a browser to complete the transaction.
Every time I try to log in I get SORRY, WE'VE HAD A TECHNICAL PROBLEM. Changed my password several times but still no joy. Very frustrating!
Please fix the "notifications unavailable" on all products, whether it's a email or push notification, or both. It's been like that since Christmas and hasn't changed. I can send you screen shots if required. I have downgraded my review as a result.
The app seems to be working better now. The earlier version didn't work too well, it wouldn't show details of the product I was trying to view. All is well at the moment.
Easy to navigate and browse through app. Cart and purchase page clear and swift to use. Excellent app!

My first time using the App and I am very pleased. Everything is straightforward from creating an account to making my first purchase. John Lewis are renowned for the quality of their goods and the App is no exception.
Easy to use. Can check store stock which I can't do on website. Would be nice to have price reduction alert on wish list
I am no longer able to change my search preference regarding the product availability. Even when I slide the switch I can only see stores with available stock. Being able to check if a store is just out of stock or doesn't stock it at all is very useful. I used to be able to do this but not now. Please fix.
Sizing filter doesn't filter properly. But the content is pretty alright. Though I would appreciate if there was more coats without plastics I mean more wool or like up to 30%. If there is one or two price goes up to £500. Great option to save for later as I don't have to login for that.
You fixed that annoying error "something's not right"thanks I did also clear the cache and data of the app,deleted the app, powered down the device then re installed. So it's a complete fresh install. User's who have problems with apps, should always go to settings, apps,clear cache,data,etc

Easy enough to use, but would be nice if there was a "home" icon to tap to get back to the start rather than keep tapping back a hundred times to get back to the start. Also, the app seems not to sync with the account at all - if I order something using a PC, the order does not appear under "orders" in the app. Would be nice if that was sorted.
Really easy to use and smooth. I like the kitchen drawer function where you can see all old receipts. Also can get your rewards vouchers digitally on app instead of through post (environmentally friendly!). This is a very good shopping app. Being able to see what stock is in what store has helped a lot with my Xmas shopping planning.

The product barcode search often brings up the wrong product or simply says the product can't be found. I apparently opted for rewards to be added to the app rather than receive paper rewards (although I don't remember doing so) and wasn't getting notifications that new rewards were available. On opening the app, no account details were visible in the 'my account' section until I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Pretty poor experience from using this app.
A compare option on items would be helpful
The looks great. Very easy to navigate around the store and find items you are looking for. keeps trake of all your purchases, so you a digital copy of you need to return anything. The app also works with web search automatically opens when you click on sale items while on web browser.
Don't think I will be using ths app much it will not let me sign in on my phone only my tablet which is no good at all. UPDATE .... No contact from developer to offer advice I am going to uninstall a shame because I like John Lewis but if they offer an app it needs to work on all platforms.
The app is great and not buggy compared to other stores. You can easily find what you are looking for with better categorisation and save to a wish list. There is also a scanner allowing you to scan anything in store to check the price and details. I removed 1 star because there is no proper integration with Android. You can't add your membership card to Google pay.
