John Piper Daily Devotional

Hi! I've been getting the "Unexpected error occurred" ever since I update my application. I already tried reinstalling the application, still getting the same error. I've been using this app since 2015 and i have no problems, no issue with it. Hope you could fix it, i really love this app and dont have plans of giving it up. Haha coz I really love how it gives me daily devotionals. Thank you.

5 stars because of the content (because john piper duh😍very good theology as always) but 3 stars because the UI/UX is kinda meh. It could be better. The UI/UX is not too comfortable/not as good as it can be. Too stiff and rigid, quite poor design and not enough convenient buttons/options. Not enough catalogs. I pray you'll make the ui/ux better!

It would be great if you could tap the date and go to a devotional from the past instead of having to scroll. Also for some reason not getting notifications daily although everything is turned on. Otherwise very spiritually useful app.

Christ-centered devotionals. One thing I would suggest is that you may add an option (or buttons) where one could easily go (back) to an specific date (maybe previous ones) so he or she won't need to keep scrolling until that specific date he or she fancy. All in all, good job! Glory to God!

I have tried many devotional apps from Play Store and have generally been disappointed. This app is the best! Solid , realistic teaching, devoid of platitudes, from a preacher whose life and well known ministry gives him credibility. EDIT. The new update has fixed the problem . Thank you and Praise God!

Solidly good app - but does Google Play have an anti-Christian-app policy? My phone was recently factory reset. While Google automatically reloaded most of my apps, it did not load/install the Christian apps, including this one. Is this because of some setting selected by the makers of Christian apps (a legit and understandable possiblity), or is there something more nefarious going on here on the part of Google?

I love this devotional It meets me in my heart. The only issue I'm having is I'm not able to share the share button does not work for me. That review was this year of May and still in July I still can't use the share button to share on Facebook or other media platforms. Please fix this issue I'm not able to share it with friends and family.

It's a good app. I wish it had the feature of being able to schedule daily reminders to do the devotional rather than having it come automatically at 2 am.

Strong solid relevant insightful teaching of the Bible. Sad that this morning it keeps stopping. This is despite a re-install of latest version, and rebooting. Pls help.

This app is simple with no adds. No feel guilty calendar. He brings his love for our Saviour to your palm. You can page back and forth to yesterdays and tomorrows as you please! Thank you, Paster John, for years of humble teaching, true to scripture and infectious with love for our God. Thank you for asking the hard questions and sometimes strange questions, preparing your listeners to stand fast in trials. May you continue to bless the saints with your teachings dor many years to come.

One of the best devotional apps I have come across. The content is amazing and has really taught me a lot over the past year. I read it daily and love it so much.

This is truely the best devotional app. However, it would be very useful if you add an option that enables the user to add some notes below his/her devotions.

Simple and easy-to-use devotional app. I like how there is often a link to more detail at Desiring God. One quirk: today is leap day (February 29), and today's devotional was NULL.

Always helpful, frequently timely. John Piper never compromises the truth. I appreciate that most of all. I have learned much from this devotional app.

My son introduced this Application to me just yesterday and I really love it immediately especially because it's even offline. It's quite inspiring to build faith and confidence in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Great daily devotionals! Can easily share and save your favorite! Also links to the bigger blog article/book that the Devo is pulled from.

Wonderful app to use and the devotionals always seem to speak directly into my situations.

I have been blessed by John Piper's Daily Devotional. His teachings based on Scripture is always challenging, inspiring and compels us to think. He also creates in us the Desire to Know God and to Glorify Him by, as Rev. Piper says, in being most satisfied in Him. He guides us into appreciating and loving Jesus Christ in all what He has done for us in obedience to the Father and the need for acknowledging and surrendering to the Grace of God in our lives in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

I had to update several times and even uninstalled and reinstalled but the app would not open. Is there a fix?

It always says "An unexpected Error Occured" what's wrong with this??

Unfortunately, I no longer receive daily notifications alerting me to the day's devotion.

I love it very much. very educational. it explains the Word of God amazingly...

I also have a Samsung Galaxy Tab E running Android vers. 4.4.4 and receive message "An Unexpected error occurred".

Have enjoy reading this app but right now not able to open. Keep prompting to close app. Hope something be done.

Great app. Three stars because not receiving daily notification, no matter what I do.

Keeps saying "Unfortunately, solid joys has stopped" each time i try to open it on my device (itel itA51).

Great inspiring devotional. Hope it had feature that searched a verse or topic. God bless.
