The app overall is a disappointing disaster. Firstly, when I'm looking for buses, the app often calculates the bus in the wrong direction: my 115 pulled up on time... on the other side of the road, heading in the other direction, although I had specifically searched for the other. Secondly, alternative buses showed up at the stop but never showed up on the app itself. There are so many more blaring issues with this app that I would like to point out. Just use the Irish Rail app or Google Maps.

It has become a disappointment in the way it handles trip times for buses, it seems to me that one service overides another which isnt helpful. Especially when you prefer one bus service than another. Very disappointing. Its only useful if you dont care what and when you travel. Other than my grievance, the app is very easy to use, just dont expect it to be timetable accurate. Shame really.

This has ever exactly been a great app, but it's somehow gotten worse. The new splash screen is ugly and makes it look as if the app has crashed, and the ergonomics of opening and closing the menu are off as the menu doesn't animate as it's meant to. TFI need to have words with the supplier about the fit and finish of this app. It makes it feel so much worse to use than it ought to.

It's not without it's flaws. It gives the time a bus should be at a stop but it's not real time so that varies especially for stops mid-route. It's also sent me to the wrong stop for a bus, I would have been going the wrong direction if I hadn't realised. Having said that it is one of my must have apps and I've recommended it to a lot of people. It's very useful at home but if I'm going to somewhere I don't normally and especially if I'm out of town where I don't even know where the nearest bus stop is it's a life saver. I also really appreciate that it includes private bus company options and can plot a trip for me all the way from my flat to a suburb in Dublin. They also take Eircode numbers for plotting journeys Give yourself time for delays or mishaps and you will never take a journey in Ireland again without checking this app before.

Late buses are not reflected in the "live" information, they just drop off the screen so you have no idea if they're still going to come or have disappeared. New screen when you open the app makes it look like it has crashed and takes ages to respond. Used to be better, has definitely gone downhill.

It's great to finally see an integration of public transport in Ireland but having separate apps for the different functions is not necessary and complicates the process. The apps are very useful but it would make more sense to have the real time and journey planner on the same platform.

The app itself is pretty good, though some things are a bit wonky, like pinch to scroll on the map. The public transportation service is not, it is absolutely horrible. But that's not a good reason to vent your frustration on the app.

Hi there! I found the app difficult to use. U needed to know where u were going before u could find d best route. I wanted to be able to pick d Destination from a map but couldn't see that option. When I put in a destination and looked at it on d map, I saw these was another bus stop nearer to it but yr app wouldn't let me select it to see what buses go to that stop. It also wouldn't find Our Lady of Dolours Church, however, it wud let me search d Street address. I wanted to like this app but unfortunately will be removing for d second time - D interface just isn't user friendly. On Google maps u can do all of d above but I wanted to use an Irish app. 😟

I tested out a route today to see if there's anything new for Lucan to Tallaght. According to MOOVIT ,there is routes and it looks shorter (but more expensive) but for this app, it shows a taxi and no other optional routes. Maybe its because the journey is extensive. That was a always a problem, but its obviously good to know what possible trek I have to take anyway to get to the NDLS, or whatever its called.

Constantly deleting my saved stops randomly and it's incredibly frustrating. Never shows the full stop sequence of stops as the page always spends ages loading, app always crashing and a huge let down when you need it most

Dart times are completely wrong when trying to plan a journey from A to B. Only live departures section seems to be accurate, but that only shows about an hour ahead. Completely useless for PLANNING a JOURNEY more than an hour from now. No reply from email support a week later. If you won't fix the app at least change the name, it's false advertising

Very poor app. Favourites (as in Diblin Bus) would be useful. Also this could eliminate the clutter. Needs to better highlight the times of the bus... not time to leave my house. Wants me to go to wrong Dart station... not easy for me to correct it. Given the feedback anf my experience suggest you start again please!

While it is a great idea to have all the transport information in the one place, there are still.some.serious bugs with this app. I can't tell you how many times the information has been unavailable or there has been incorrect times given for arrival of a bus. Good but needs work.

Mat. B. Jan 5, 2020

Real time info is unreliable almost all the time. For some unknown reason the journey planner tool doesn't show the nearest stop and makes you walk for longer distances than necessary. Bad experience overall but there's no alternative

Cli. F. Dec 28, 2019

This belongs in the 1980s. A demo showing how to use this app is needed. basic, confusing&difficult, ie very hard to understand. For instance, Dorset Street options are Dorset Street upper, lower, rotunda or phibsborough. All I want is to get to Dorset Street. A demo of how to use this app would be helpful. It keeps requesting more info, & needs to be all on 1screen, because it keeps asking for info you are unsure as2 whether it has ur info you have inputted. 1could very easily go around& around

Bus services are the the worst in Dublin, and this app has the same level. Most of the times the departure times do not coincide with the real ones, and you miss the bus or it never appears. And now they are almost always at full capacity and instead of missing only one, you miss two buses, because nobody thought of putting booster buses during this pandemic

Kev. C. Mar 1, 2020

Absolutely pointless app. Buses vanish into thin air. They arrive anything from 10 minutes early to 10 mins late. What's the point in real time info if it doesn't work. Irish rail and Dublin Bus manage to get it to work so what's the problem. Just missed 2 buses! One didn't exist on the app (ghost bus)! The other was 7 mins earlier than it said it was going to be there...unless they have just put jet engines on them without informing us. 🤬

Best application so far and I have installed almost all of them. This has been the most accurate and up to the minute information provided by any. 5 stars, and more if I could! Great Job Guys keep up the good work. FOR ALL THE PEOPLE GIVING BAD REVIEWS : this application only relays the real time information it's provided it is not responsible for your bus being late, if used correctly it would notify you when your is running late so you could make other arrangements.

Joh. B. May 12, 2019

Used to be a great app, but is no longer reliable. For the second consecutive weekend it has informed me of buses approaching that were not really there. On both occasions I had to get a taxi home. MyTaxi must love this app.

Jon. L. Oct 5, 2018

Terrible! Doesn't even work. Says failed to connect to server. And it forgets what you enter for departure/destination and arrival times while you search. Did anyone test this before putting it out there?

Gre. R. Dec 9, 2018

TFI journey planner. You would think that means a complete list of all scheduled services throughout the country, but no, it gives no information regarding some private transport scheduled services even though those are licenced by the dept of transport. Try Huston station to Athlone on 24th Dec. Nothing. Wait, citylink operate a scheduled service, but not shown on this app. Worse than useless.

Mr.. L. Nov 21, 2021

Most of the time the Luas time doesn't match arrival/depart on any stops! Get it fixed because is annoying not been able to plan accordingly. Especially winter is freezing standing even waiting for 10min in the cold and rain!

Sea. S. Jun 14, 2019

There is a bug. If you delete a stop it will not save it again and you have to search for it every time. There is no way to manually save a stop. I had to clear app data and start again adding my stops.

Rub. Mar 1, 2019

Tries to do too much, acomplishes nothing. Dublin bus simplicity and accuracy is much prefered over this google maps directions wannabe. Worst part is since some routes are now operated by TFI they dont show up on Dublin bus app (45a,111 for example). If this is supposed to be a transition from Dublin Bus app I'll get my bus timetables from a tarot card deck instead.

Pau. M. G. Sep 23, 2019

Great app when it loads...recent version seems to be very slow in loading and on occasion fails. When functioning it supplies all info in easy to follow and accurate format.

Jos. Oct 24, 2019

Edit: Downgraded from 2 star to 1 star app, because printed timetables, I have realised,, after consideration, do actually have a fair degree of reliability. The RTPI information on 18 and 175 bus routes in Dublin is, in a largish minority of cases, farcical, much more reliable information is available from the on-street displays.

Chr. P. Dec 5, 2018

The real time info provided by this app is maybe related to a parallel universe or different time zone, not real time in Dublin. Did the folks who coded this app ever gave it a try? Also, alleged bus time is always wrong, why? It rains a lot in Ireland and being at the bus stop because of wrong info is not always pleasant. Worst app ever!

Mar. I. Aug 7, 2019

it's just a mobile timetable. it doesn't update whether or not a bus actually arrives! after work I go to the bus stop expecting the bus to arrive within 5 minutes. and according to the "timetable" it should arrive within 5 minutes. But NO! It doesn't update or give information why the bus isn't coming. It just brushes it under the carpet like "Oh, nobody will know it's missing"... Yes I am angry. I have short days especially after work. False and useless info. Dublin Bus at least gives updates.
