Joy-Con Enabler for Android

***If Joy-Cons lag on your Device, Joy-Con Enabler will not fix it.***

Joy-Con Enabler Pro allows you to test & use your Joy-Cons together in Android Games and Emulators. It takes inputs from both Joy-Cons individually, and combines it by emulating the Game Controller which can be easily recognized by Android. Works with almost every Game with Native Controller Support. Compatible with all Android Versions. No Custom Kernel required. You can test the JoyCons without JoyCon Enabler Pro.

Important: Joy-Con Enabler Pro requires root with SuperSU. If you don't know what "root" is, then don't purchase Enabler Pro. It won't work without root!

Extra Features:

- Invert Analog Sticks
- Use Joy-Con Capture Button as Android Back Button
- Use Joy-Con Home Button as Android Home Button
- More features under development.

Note:

- Games & Emulators may require In-Game Remapping.
- Reduce In-Game Sensitivity if facing issues.

I bought the full version. It does connect, but the latency... oh god, the latency. I think it took about 1 second in between when I pressed a button and when it registered. Needless to say, this was abysmal. I tried using it anyways, and every rebindable app just didnt recognise the input. Dont use this. Get a controller grip or something instead. Edit: Imagine requiring someone to root their phone to use a controller enabling app bottom text

It kinda works, except it doesn't ask for root access, which means it ends up not working at all. I can't even grant it by default. I tried both Magisk and the standard SuperSU. Maybe I need to install non-systemless, but it sounds like it would be easy to roll out a fix. But it also looks like the dev hasn't updated in years. Shame on me for spending the money I guess

I think the app should be free. I was annoyed when I found out the app, such as this one, were not free and the other option is certain cables. You let the apps one free feature be to test the joy cons. That is literally the purpose of the app. I'm trying to be positive, but really, one feature. Just make the app cost money in the first place!

this app doesnt tell you anywhere in the app itself until after you have purchased the pro in app purchase that it requires rooting. the only way you know is if you click the read more on the app description and even then it is halfway down the page. i paid for the pro but didnt get around to trying it until now so it is too late for my money back. i am sick and tired of apps requiring rooting in order to use them. if you can fix this problem i will give more stars. also put disclamer at top.

The programmer does not make it very clear, and does not mention at all before download, but root access seems to be needed to make this app work. This is great if you are using it on a rooted device, but if you are keeping your warranty intact or just do not want to take the risks involved with opening root access the app is useless. This should be made clear from the start, before download.

Buttons do not even match up, and it cannot properly detect whether I'm using one remote or two, and actually using it with games costs money, which is not the impression I got from the app description. A app that does not work and charges money for a "pro" version is less than useless.

I think we shouldn't have to pay to use both joy-cons. This is the core functionality. You get this app to use your joy-cons, but there is a paywall. The paywall should be for things that doesn't affect the gameplay. For example, the capture button as the back button. That should be payed for not the basic use of the app.

Misleading and garbage. It just shows off how it can test your buttons, and also HEAVILY advertises the fact that you can use 2 joy cons with one and input them into an emulator or other game, even though to do that only thing you downloaded the app for you have to pay money. I spent enough money on a Nintendo switch, and I dont have alot of money and poop cash like everyone else seems to do, and I also dont appreciate getting ripped off and scammed by some ******* who wants to do this.

Absolute trash. Can test joycons in free mode. Paid version doesn't even work. Actually breaks being able to use joycons since after closing out the app they work open and enable it and they quit again. Thankfully Google was very quick about the refund.

The app works, but the controls are delayed. Instead of the two joycons being used as one controller, they're acting as if I'm playing two player. Can you fix this issue? ...Thanks.

I actually did try it, and I payed for the full version. It's a rip off, it didn't work out as I hoped. If the developer of this app sees this, and if I did something wrong, please walk me step by step. Or else I'm not downloading this app AGAIN. My Xbox controller even works better than this app, even with the pro version!

Ber. A. Jul 11, 2019

It connected to the Joy Cons just fine, but the input lag was horrible. There was a full 1 second delay between pressing a button and getting a response, making this app borderline unusable.

Imagine it: an app designed to let someone use both joycons together in games, apps, and others, yet you have to BUY the pro version to actually do that. I really feel like if we're already able to use one joycon to scroll through menus and play games with, we really shouldn't have to pay to use the other one.

the app wanted to collect my credit card info and password in order for me to reset my phone so this app can work. Uh No sir fix it the app you created. it's like you trying to steal my information by resetting and accept it. I brought the app just a sec ago to go pro. but found out that it wanted to collect my privacy data info on my phone to work. I need a refund right now!!

Ron. M. Jan 30, 2021

Do not pay for this even if you have rooted device! This app does not even work after rooting my device and paying the 5 bucks! I tried with retroarch and even if it did detect both controllers as one it was so laggy that it was pointless.

Bli. T. Dec 13, 2018

The Reason I loaded it was to try to use the "Pokeball Plus" Switch Joycon as a controller. But it seems they have a different protocol than the standard Joycon. I don't own a switch the reason I have it is for pokemon go but it would be nice to at least also get use out of the thumb stick and buttons for other games too

Honestly didn't realize you needed to root my phone to use this, the app never even mentioned it. It's only present in the play store description, which who is even going to look at? I asked for a refund, but of course, more than a week later, no response. Come on! I'm sure you could have done better that this! Well apparently not, much disappointment

pen. May 24, 2022

Doesn't even come close to working. When turned on, the joycons become entirely unresponsive. P.S I am rooted and gave it Superuser access.

JP. Jul 19, 2019

Advertised as being able to pair both joycons together to play games but they then ask you to pay for pro if you want to use said advertised feature. As long as I'm concerned this is misleading advertisement and will be reported to the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards board and will be taken down if the owner of this app does not: 1) Make said advertised feature free to use as intended per it's description. 2) Provide the appropriate correction to misleading content in the description.

And. M. Jul 21, 2019

It's not needed tbh. all u need to do to connect your joy com's to an Android is to go into your Bluetooth connections, press the button on the side of the joycons and hold, and then the scan for devices button on your Android and then you'll be good to go. no apps required. just your Android and joycons. so any apps that say they "enable" joycons is an absolute lie

Chr. H. Nov 15, 2020

It works but slow and crashes alot, you press and hold say button for like a faction of a second a just to get it to work. Need a to be speed up and made stable then this app will be worth it.

Ang. C. Dec 13, 2019

A dubious lack of proof combined with pathetic greed ruins any merit this should have. Although I have tested it for myself to confirm it does work... The requirement for root (which shouldn't really be needed, for apps that already support gamepad input that is.) Limits your already small audience and definitely raises the question of "why not just buy an Android controller for like 20 bucks on Amazon?" find a good one and you have a reliable controller what doesn't need root for what this does

Rem. L. Apr 5, 2022

I used to love this app. Not sure what happened to it, maybe Nintendo made it harder to connect, but they changed how the app works.

Sha. K. Jan 10, 2022

Useless at some point andriod got 100% support for joycons as i can use my joycons as if im playing on a switch without issue. Running android 12 on a galaxy s21 dont know what version you need but ya Its offical supported now.

Tom. C. Feb 27, 2020

The app doesn't work, while in the test the joycon are both recognized, after activated they are seen as two distinct joystick so are unusable! I neither know how to ask the refund for it!

Mat. L. Jul 25, 2020

So interesting development, the free version of the app doesn't do much, but when uninstalled with a joycon connected, the joycon then gives zero input lag (not-rooted) the next step is working out how not to continually download and uninstall this cursed app everytime I want to use a joy con

Ham. K. Aug 4, 2020

It doesn't stop the enormous amount of input lag between Joy-Cons and the stock Android BT stack introduced with 9 Pie. And locking a bunch of features behind a paywall is kinda lame.

Jos. B. Oct 27, 2018

Please make a no root version that takes advantage of overlay. I know it's possible because of the octopus app. That app just doesn't enable using joycons.

Super mario run by the end of a few days, and a half. I think it was a great deal with the following areas, including the status. Thanks wait for the use few weeks. I have a look and feel of the day of the only one that is, the only one that has been scanned for all the
