I don't really like the update. I wish I would have received an email to merge my accounts with the new messaging. I hope you all find a way to have it under one app. It took me 2 hours to get my situation resolved because there was no clear instructions to set it up. I was finally able to write my cousin who I didn't even know had written me twice because no communication emails were sent until recently. I may raise my rating as time goes on. Hopefully, you all find away to merge systems.

It was great in the past yrs of using it but this time for the past 3 months I have been trying to compose an email and it will not add the person to the email to send . Customer Service is not very responsive either . Ok so still has not fixed the problem and still no reply from custom service . i thought it maybe was the person i was trying to write to but no it like that even when i change people ..

The app has not been working for some time . I have not been able to send pics or attachments. Do not understand why this is happening because it worked fine 6 months ago , then out of the blue . Everything I've tried to include an attachment or send a video ar anything it doesn't allow it . You'll need to fix this and for this reason I CAN NOT GIVE YOU'LL A GOOD RATING.

Update... 5/19/22 Finally got the thing working. All has been well. Now back to the same issue. Can't log in. This is utterly ridiculous. And it's always when I have important things to handle. Please get the app together.... Horrible!!!!!! I'm so irritated with this raggedy app. It barely works. And for the last 3 weeks. I cant get in. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have called JPay numerous times. I'm really just sick of it.

04/30/22..has been working great lately! We shall see if I keep 4 stars after this update? 2021 This app is horrible it rarely ever opens and most of the time I have to go to the website to even send an email. It can take days before the app ever opens to be able to send pictures and a video.

Worse than ever: attempted logon met with msg "update required" -pressed that, which took me to Playstore- where there was NO update option - but the "open" option which normally indicates that the app or update has been installed. Nope! Automatically dumps me right back w original msg. Don't they ever test these "improvements?!" Selected option 2 manage my apps, was able 2 update there - quite a roundabout. Anything supported by the DOC anywhere is usually defective.

Don't really know the problems are for some but I have been using the app for 3 1/2 years with some very minor glitches (some user error). The one thing I would like us that both phone app and the desktop version were the same.

I like the app overall. The only issue I do have is I can't send an email from the app. It lets me select my contact but it won't let me add him to the email. I have to use the desktop version to send emails.

This app was good in the beginning but now I have so many problems with it. Some of my mail doesn't get sent and the stamps are used but my love one never received the email, now it takes forever to load, attached pics don't send all the time . It's becoming a big problem.

First off they have no support to report issues to. They have charged me to communicate with my child but has not sent pictures or videos I have been charged for. JPay needs to be investigated. It takes a week to ten days for my child to receive my communication but only takes a few hours for my child's communication to be received. This is a money scam and needs to be investigated. Update.... Thank you for recent update. Issues still but I believe it is operator error not the app itself.

mehhh... ********************************** Second time around having to use the app, which it was ok the first time around, just dreaded having had to use it. And now, dreading to use it again, but it is a pretty good app. Definitely helps keep you in touch with your incarcerated loved one.. and very easy to use...

Poorly supported. Inadequate hardware and software support. Randomly drops scheduled video visits or autopay when performing basic mainyenance and customer service fixes. Staff lacks proper knowledge to test changes and understand the ramifocations to the rest of the system before enabling any planned charhe or override.

I'm so TIRED of it taking 2 to 3 weeks (14-21 days) for a email to reach a hour and half away. Not to mention I'm supposed to be able to write LONG letters and I get told all the time there is to many characters. So it takes me 5 times the stamps to write a letter. I have several people I write and send money too. This needs to be updated properly. Mail is a federal offense when it's tampered with. Is there not a customer service that "DOES" their job. I bet the attorney general will.

A great, economical way to stay in contact with incarcerated individuals through email. So allows pictures and short videos to be sent.

Everything works really great I wish sometimes that it saved past same message sent letters and pictures so it'll be easier to keep up with what I have and haven't sent but not everything else works great and functions wonderful

I had it for over a year and I'd say roughly the first nine months were perfect, after that....horrible. I get my messages days and even weeks late smh recently I've gotten kicked out constantly. I'm not feeling it anymore. TRASH

I would give this a five star the only reason I'm not is because I've been using the service for 5 months now and until just 20 minutes ago I realized there's a microphone to talk text like on my phone. I didn't realize you had to link JPay and secures together I could never understand that I think that people should know that. Other than that thank you so much for letting me write my son and let him get the letters quickly and then back to me quickly. God bless you

This app is trash. I can never login. I have to Uninstall and reinstall every time. Try going to the website to login it says I don't have an account. Try calling customer support for help and it hangs up on you and says call back later. 😡😡😡

The prison vendors did good making correspondence convenient for friends family of incarcerated citizens. it's so easy and the cost is so affordable.. keep an individual connected. Times are changing. Prisons must begin change Rehabilitation is better done with short time, shock . JPay makes it easy to connect. 👍

Horrible Since y'all merged with securus, I can't access emails at all. Even after syncing my jpay with securus. My stamps won't transfer nor will the emails that my loved ones send me. I can't access them at all and you guys don't want to help Samsung galaxy S21 Ultra 5g AND laptop

Such a handy way to keep in touch with your love one whose incarcerated. You can write email, video and send money through one app. The only thing I have not seen was the ability to video chat.

Said needed update, has no way to update,uninstalled itself now I can't reinstall because it says needs update no way to update. Now can't communicate with my loved one Funny how I posted this now all of a sudden an update button appears🤣🤣🤣. Not changing my rating tho

Send messages to the person I need to but when they send them to me I don't get them at all then their is times I might get a bunch of messages at one time and then 2 or 3 days later I won't get nothing at all

With everything that has been happening with Covid19 I haven't been able to visit my loved one since March and now Jpay isn't working either! If you're not going to get this fixed in a timely manner then refund all the money I've spent on stamps!

It's nice to be in touch with friends and loved ones. How we keep in touch isn't always in our comfort zone but at least with this app it's convinent.

After the recent update I know longer recieve a notification when I've recieved any messages. I have to go all the way into the inbox to check for messages.
