Very good app, easy to use. I use it for maintaining multiple lists of stocks - very reliable. Ads are unobtrusive. If you have any questions or queries the developer responds very quickly.
Reliable, simple to navigate, clear presentation.
-Very intuitive, not hard to figure out for the novice. Has everything I need to keep up with my portfolio. Absolutely love this program. In the mall, in the car (not driving though), at the job, watching TV, on my PC, I can keep abreast of my investments just by looking at the color indicators, or even more in depth focal summaries. I would give it 10 stars if there were that many!
It's a good easy to use app but has it's flaws. When you set stock alerts they just go off randomly even when the stock hasn't hit the limit. Not sure what that is. The alerts are almost never correct which means you have to constantly refresh. Luckily the stock while either be highlighted red is it goes under your limit or green if it goes over and that's always correct. Also really like that it has a widget. Most apps don't.
not bad, but i wish the UI was more streamlined to reduce a lot of back and forth switching between screens. for example, you can only adjust stock alerts from within the watchlist screen. would like to see 1-click access to stock alerts so adjustments can be made quickly. as well, i wish the monthly charge to remove ads was less, or at least offer a reduced rate 6 month or yearly subscription ( $25/year? )
I use both the desktop version and the app, and very pleased with both. The ability to save to cloud is a huge benefit, means I can sync my portfolio across devices effortlessly. I have used many similar apps before, but this one is the best of them all. And the support response time is impressive if you have any problems. Highly recommended.
Pros: Looks good, functional, useful as widget. Cons: *extremely slow* obtaining current stock price or news - taking 30+ seconds or just times-out with an error. *Never* alerts when a target price has been reached ... in two years of use (yes, I have the app configured to run the the background). Stock charts regularly don't reflect real prices (the high/low/opening prices display correctly). Recommended for casual use, not suitable to manage your portfolio or do research in (semi)real-time.
Often provides WRONG information on the day-to-day changes. The prices are listed correctly but % change sometimes indicate that prices are rising when they are in reality dropping, or the other way round. This is creating extremely misleading signals for me. Its making the app unusable since I'm using it to see if things are going well or bad, but basically getting inaccurate signals.
Very useful app. Intuitive and detailed, perfect for long term investors who like to build a history of their trades, keep an eye on the running costs and be able to see stats of their portfolio, such as gains, loss or value within their portfolio. I also noticed that support team is quick and very helpful.
Information comes really handy and works well overall! I like it.
I am not sure how this app got such a high rating. I cannot even view daily chart. If you click on the chart it defaults to All and then you can zoom in. There is no option to select the time period for candles. Thinkorswim is by far the best and the fastest app I have tried so far. Yahoo finance comes close to that in terms of usability.
It is a very user-friendly app to allow me to manage my portfolio systematically.
Awesome... I like the news the app is providing for the companies in my watchlist
Easy to use. intuitive features.
Initially thought it was a fantastic app, simple UI, easy to use etc. but it refuses to send push notifications to my device for stock alerts unless the app is opened manually. Extremely frustrating to have something feature-rich broken by technical issues. Would happily rate 5/5 if this gets resolved, but as it stands I can't recommend it with broken functionality.
Great little app just what you need if you want to keep an eye on stocks can't fault it.
This app is easy to use and offers good functionality. The free version comes with ads but they are displayed on the bottom of the screen and are not annoying like in other, similar stock apps. I would even pay for the app, if it would be a one time payment. Unfortunately, if you want to ad free version, you need to sign up for a subscription which is $5 per month - which is way too much in my opinion.
easy to navigate, unable to read full content of news stories. not sure if it's a paid feature or the app is super slow or the links just dont work, but nocmatter which one is the case...its annoying to read the first paragraph of articles and never get to see the meat or conclusion
On the phone I give it 5*. For windows I give it 3.8. The phone is very quick and easy. On windows you need to install the usual java then install the newest java jdk. After that it is a bit slower to use and confusing. I had difficulty adding certain stocks, because they were hard to find. I have cdn and USA stocks, this is easy on the phone tricky on windows. Support is totally great 6*. On windows side, you must choose the country to see portfolios for that country on the phone no.
it would be useful to have an option to enter the main app screen from the notification window. currently, if there's a notification that is accessed, I've to force exit the app and reenter to access the main page. otherwise like it so far. the alerts feature, in particular is awesome! well done!
Excellent app!!! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! This app works well, clearly displays all of the information that I want to see, with the ability to have multiple Watchlists and Portfolios, and the data can be easily edited. Perfect!!!
chamging chart timeframe doesnt update chart, previous chart is shown. only the timeframe field uodates (6mo to 1yr), the rest of the chart stays exactly the same. i need to quit and reload the app to have the chart correctly load. this has existed for about a year, even though i have received multiple uodates. very annoying bug.
Was a long time 5 star fan but have recently upgraded my tablet to a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Android 12. Now I cannot select my country when I wish to create my portfolio. The dropdown list window shows only a few countries. These are the only ones I can select. If I flick down the list and expose different countries (very hit and miss) when I then select my country the list immediately jumps back to the initial list (starting with Argentina) and my country is not selected.
