Update on 3/28: The App has been down for a few days. I'm very disappointed with this company. Should have bought ChargePoint instead. Need improvement. After power outage the time zone reset to some weird setting despite it has the exact address. It's also not smart enough to determine the lowest current setting within the lowest electricity rate hour to charge the car, which can prolong battery life.
Yesterday I was absolutely unable to sign in to the app, but is working today, and aded my new Juicebox 40 successfully. The interface is very basic, but serviceable. I am still not sure how to check for firmware updates, however.
Just did the most recent update and now I can't login as it doesn't recognize my login credentials. I uninstalled and reinstalled and same issue. Tried resetting password but it doesn't email me with instructions for resetting. I give up!
As soon as I open the app it crashes back to the home screen. Have to clear the app data to get it to stay open every time. This makes the app all but unusable.
Work fine until last week, and it stopped syncing with my JuiceBox. It now won't let me log back in, despite working on the web version. What is the point is this app if you can't log in? This is far too long for a production outage
My juicebox app says that I'm offline. When I go to the juice box it shows that it's on line . Tryed many different things but no luck. App isn't working. Now I can't even get into the app, wants a password . Try to type one in , it types blanks. 🤷
Following the problem with the 26th March release I was looking for news about a fix. The "update" button was showing against the app in playstore but Google play didn't tell me an update was available. App is working again following the update today so good news.
Oftentimes it's trying to charge during the non TOU periods. Starts to charge then a few seconds later shuts off. Seems like a novice designed the software.
Can't sign in to the app since the March 26 update. Keeps giving "Ooops! Please double-check your email and password", even though I can use the same details to login using the website.
The page turning arrows are too close to the "plugged in with" dial. It frequently leads to accidental touches, which stops charging sometimes, due to a lack of confirmation, and not properly resetting.
Online login is broken. I'm able to easily log in online but I'm unable to log in via the app and it tells me to check my username and password (which I have checked numerous times).
Clunky, outdated looking app. The team seriously needs to do some research or hire a UI/UX team.
Not working. Server not connecting. When you try to connect. Sends you to a page where it won't let you enter your password. Had an update yesterday. Now it's messed up today.
Loved the app before the update. But now there is no ackme discovery app that is mentioned in the setup. This update makes the wifi portion and control unusable. Is there a fix coming soon?
My only issue is not being able to link it to my Google Assistant. Other than that, pretty easy app to get setup and use
Logged out and cannot log back in despite having email and pw correct. Pw reset didn't do anything. No email, no reset no indication that anything was happening
Usually a tolerable app, but right now it doesn't recognise the EVSE or my login details, so I'm having to control my EO Mini Pro (v1) via the website instead.
App no longer working after update on 3/27/2022 because the JuiceBox has lost its connection to the server. JB is still charging the EV.
Zero App Points. Couldn't get past the "confirmation email" stage of setting up an account, on two different mobile devices. Signing in with Google resulted in a browser warning that wouldn't let me continue. Poor - I have no idea if the app or the product is worth using or not. It's an awful app, so I will assume it's an awful device - without a reliable and useful app the device would be useless to me. And it hasn't been updated since last August. Less than 1 star. Hello ChargePoint.
Does not work after most recent Android update, completely unusable. Before the update it was fine.
I find the user interface clunky, and the features limited. My device is shared by multiple users, so I want to require the user to select a vehicle in order to begin charging, so I can generate an accurate usage report. Unfortunately I can only do this by setting time of use to never, then overriding with "charge now". But if device goes offline (which happens frequently) it stops charging.
I enjoy the app. It does what it needs to do. I had an issue with the latest update, but I uninstalled and reinstalled it and it worked.
It crashed phone upon startup with registration. I registered online and then downloaded the app again. Once registered, you can skip the initial registration step and just sign in. From there it seems to work OK. I also used the other configuration app from juicenet to configure the juicebox rather than this app and it worked with minor glitches. Ultimately, since it crashes my phone on registration step i think it should be rated very low.
After reparing their device (Juiceplug) the app tries and indicated charging in off time after the TOU was set. In order to keep from pulling power I have to set the on board charge timer for the TOU period, so no 24hr access when I use my L2 evse (built that also, no problems). I built a wifi switch to control the Solar L1. It allows me to set timer, start and stop charging with no problems via the app I use for it. It looks like there are cheap parts buggy servers and apps.
Does not work. Something Went Wrong is all I can get. First day I couldn't enter any credit cards, just said an error had occurred. So couldn't charge the car. When I tried PayPal just got a blank screen. I tried to set it up again 2 days later but now just says Something Went Wrong when I try to agree to the pay per use terms and set up my account. Don't bother with this app, look for a different charger.
