Jumbline 2 - word game puzzle

Love it been looking for a good text twist game and this is the best out there, ads are minimal and you can play offline, you can choose whether to use expert words or whether you want a timed game or not and you can even see the definition of the words when done. The only thing missing is a hint button which is sorely missed by me as I like to complete the whole puzzle v.v but this doesn't affect the game

The Classic game is too hard for an average player such as myself due to you needing to find every single word, including ones that are not in modern vocabulary, out of a select few letters. Cloud pop is a little better because you get hints, but Star Tower is the best of all. Even so, there isn't much to do once you wrap your head around everything.

Endless puzzles. I've been playing the untimed version for over 5 years. I'm a solver, not a race car driver. Its simple design makes it easy to play. I don't mind the ads. I complained once about an in appropriate ad and I never saw it again. I have suggested words and they have added them to the dictionary. I do not play "Expert" words as they are too obscure and irrelevant for an English-only player like myself I was afraid it might not work on my new Pixel 6 but it does. I'm a fan.

This is a fun and often challenging game I turn to while waiting in line. Games are short and it saves your place. The untimed version lets you try finding short words out of a group of letters with no time pressure, while the timed version gives you 90 seconds. Two other games are included that are fun as well. It's a 4 star game due to the outdated dictionary used to accept words--lots of obscure words while common modern ones are missing. Still, it's fun and keeps your brain active.

I love this game, and I don't mind the ads, but for some time now the aspect ratio on some of the ads has changed and the close button it outside the screen area. I have to completely close the game and re-open to get the ad to go away. It's incredibly annoying and makes me want to find another word game.

This HAD been my favorite game for years. It has taken time for the developers to succumb to ads that ruin game play. But in the last few weeks there have been new and longer ads, more often, and some that freeze it. Just now I have literally endured 12 rounds where there has been an ad every round - and has frozen the game EVERY time. Having to shut down and restart after every round is unbearable. If it continues, I will uninstall. And I certainly won't buy the products advertised!

Music for the game sometimes starts even though I have it turned off. It usually happens after an ad. The ad itself won't have sound. But when I get back to the game the music will start. Irritating cuz I like to place this while listening to audio book. Can't just turn down the volume cuz then I can't hear my book. I'll have to force stop the game, clear cache, restart phone. Sometimes that doesn't even work. I'll quit game and come back hours later & it'll be fine...for a while. Irritating.

Keeps freezing up, had to reinstall twice in last month. First round was great was on level in 3,000 mark...then started freezing. Oh well back to level 15...so i cleared cache. Still has tendency to freeze. If leave game in limbo, a lot of times ready to go. But 2 out of 10 games, freezes up on start or in mid-game. Thats ok, just learn to think fast while the gettin' is good.

Im not sure where (geographically speaking) this game is developed but there are way too many spelling errors. I like the feature that allows you to press on a word to learn the meaning, however Ive often pressed on words and will get the response, "word cannot be found". Kind of annoying when youre playing a word game with incorrect spelling. or when you use a word on board but then the next board it doesnt work.

Really enjoy this game. You can choose to have a timer or not (great option for someone with anxiety) and how many max letters opens up more variety in words. I have been out playing this game and people around me seem to like jumping in on the action. I also like that even after the round is over, one can touch a word and it will tell you the meaning of the word. Overall I have no complaints about this game and that from someone who doesn't play much for video games at all.

I wanted a letter shuffle game to help keep my mind sharp. There are so many out there but I chose Brainium because they always make the best games. This one does not disappoint. Lots of options. I like the un-timed ones for now because it's less stressful, but I plan to work up to timed.

Really enjoyable anagram game and just what I was looking for. No crazy nonsense or childlike add-ons that have nothing to do with a word puzzle game. Yes, there are ads but they are not invasive like most of these free games. They're very tastefully done and I appreciate the fact the the developers need income so it's all good. I would have rated this game 5 stars for sure if it had an in-game dictionary as opposed to shooting you out to Wiki Dictionary for look ups.

Love this app and how you can tap on words to get the definition. I play w expert words on, as per the recommendation I've read in the comments from the developer....but sooo many of the words are archaic, and even when I tap to see the definition I get directed to Wikipedia saying there is no entry for the word....this is particularly frustrating when I lose a round and the revealed word doesnt have a definition or is completly outdated - great app but pls update the dictionary.

Please fix your ads. One in particular doesnt allow you to close. Have to keep closing the app and restarting and then brings up the same ad again. Very annoying!

Love the game, but way too many ads. There is an ad after every game. I know ads are what helps keep the game free, but this is overkill. Brainium's Spider Solitaire doesn't have as many ads, which is why I tried Jumbline 2. Unfortunately, the ads ruin the enjoyment of the game.

I've been playing this game for years, and I've always had it installed on my devices. Unfortunately in the last three or four weeks it has started playing music randomly, even when the app is not in use. I have to perform a force stop to make it quit. I really don't want to uninstall, but I may have to.

A very invasive ad is now appearing. And even when you press No Thanks, the player is directed to that ads site anyway. The only way to get back to the game is to close then reopen it..but after one round, the ad reappears and the problem starts all over again.

If you like the table game Perquacky, you will like the Classic mode (timed or not) in Jumbline 2, and this review applies only to Classic mode. The advantage this game has over many tile spelling games is this one allows you to move the tiles around. I do NOT play with Expert Words turned on. I would grant 5 stars if the game didn't fail to accept so many valid words. For example, with the 7-letter word CONTAIN, the game recognizes ION and ANION, but not CATION.

Fun to do. Like that I can get all possible words, unlike wordscape. Needs to be able to buy letters with points. Also would like to see option to hold some tiles and scramble the rest. Been playing for 3 months now. Definitely needs an update as it's getting a bit old.

I have always wished for an Android word game that could rival Whirly Word from the Apple environment... I think I've finally found it! Love the ability to rearrange the letters and then swipe underneath to select the strings. Best scramble game by far! Offer me an ad-free version and I'll buy it.

This used to be such a good game! Now, it has become unreasonably difficult, using strange words known only to those who specialize in fields like botany or biology. I like a challenge, however, this has become more than challenging. It takes the fun out of the game.

Loved it a lot. Good game for brainwork. Though a bit difficult and even more difficult at higher levels. But that's what the challenge is for. Definitely improves the mental ability of the mind, because the mind keeps on thinking and thinking. All in all, game is great. This game improves the mental skills of the mind. Very good work by Brainium. I highly appreciate them and recommend this game for everyone who wants to have some fun.

This used to be a great game but now th ads are more intrusive and difficult to cancel. On in particular appears to have no x button so I have to stop plying and close app.

Great game, easy to use. Mostly works well, though it has gotten glitchy a few times on me. Had to uninstall and reinstall because it stopped working, but this was a mild annoyance. I was updated on the app, not sure why that happened. Either way, clearly it didn't bother me, as I still use the app almost daily for fun.

I've enjoyed this game in the past as a casual timekiller. However I have a new phone, and upon going to reinstall the app it asks for what I consider to be totally unnecessary media and connection info permissions before allowing the install. Pass because of this. Too bad.

This is a good game, but the problem is there are not enough words in the database. I just got it about a week ago, and have played it maybe 50 times, and i am already getting repeated words. This is a sham and a shame. Can the designers not add more words? Otherwise this is a throwaway: I have now played all the words, and so the app is no use to me. Either refund my money or add a thousand words to the database.

You really need a clue option. it would be a way for you to make money and enable those of us who enjoy the game to advance levels. as it stands right now, if I get stuck I have to start all the way over. not a huge deal really but it's kinda frustrating. just think you could do more with this game.

I played the original jumbline many years ago. I will say I liked it better, but this one is still great. I've tried many word games and absolutely hate the ones you have to move in a circle to connect the letters! So thank you for the ability to just tap the letters!!
