I saw a Jump bike downloaded the App hired one and off I went. No idea about the highly restrictive parking in London until I couldn't leave it anywhere without threat of a fine. Checked the map later and find I picked it up on the edge of the zone and headed straight out of it...in the wrong direction, (towards Soho). I had no idea what the problem was at the time but had to give up and leave it in the end. Very disappointed!

The app NEVER works when I need it to. Jump bike is an awesome concept. The bikes are super reasonable in price and fun to ride. The app being slow or simply not loading altogether, and not permitting reservations when it does - even when fully updated - ruins the execution. This is especially true if you are at all seeking to use a bike to expedite an errand you are running late for. I'll also say that the scanning has never worked for me.

most convenient! I'm just concerned now that they removed the service area map that tells you where you are allowed to park your jump bike, without catching a 25$ fine. I'll happily bring up my rating once fixed. Edit: the prices have suddenly skyrocketed. I've never been charged so much for such a short ride. 17.56$ for under an hour! I'll be lowering my ratings and deleting the app as it no longer has the same use as a cheap form of transportation in an app!

Great bikes in general, that is if you find one that works. Even though you see bikes on the map once you get there you'll get an error stating unable to reserve or to try another bike. Theres also a problem sometimes with ending ride where even though you lock the bike the timer still goes on. About rates although they claim I have a student rate the app still shows a reg rate and it's been a lot of emailing but no fix. Overall a lot of problems, try to stay away until they fix everything.

EDITED: I left this app a 1 star review due to being charged a £5 charge for leaving the bike in the center of London just off Fleet Street, a no-parking zone. However I contacted UBER, and they refunded me the parking fine on a one off basis (as I hadn't been aware of the zones). My altered review: The bikes are good and work well, but it has large no-parking zones. Just check before you park it! Due to cost, it would probably be cheaper and easier (but probably slower) just to get the bus.

I have used this app 3 times, it worked well once. The second time, the step did not work even though it had 19 miles range. The third time, I had to pay a fine because the app crashed before i could go back to the authorized zone. No support and no warnings. This is the last time that I use Jump, good thing that the competition is so fierce...

I'm spending some time in Munich, visiting from the US and decided to that advantage of the cities bike paths. Seeing Jump all over the place I though this would be a good transportation choice - I was wrong. The Jump service is also limited - there are many, many, many places in the city you cannot leave the Jump bikes - the app helpful charges you 25 Euros for doing so! I was charged twice even after telling the app that I would move the bikes. Also, the app requires a ton of data and is slow.

Used to recommend Jump to everyone, but so disappointed with the new bikes. The gear ratios are so obviously wrong I wonder who signed them off every time I ride; even on the flat, my legs can't move fast enough to keep up with the old bikes (or even many non-powered bikes). New dashboard functionality is completely opaque too. Major step backwards, which has much reduced my use of the service.

took well over an hour to find a bike with some charge. Map utterly un helpful. Found bike. Put in wrong pin . After another wrong pin, it took the bike out of service. Next bike, some distance away. I went the wrong way and the reservation expired. When I tried to reserve it again, it came up error. Utterly unpleasant, expensive, and frustrating Experience. Agent tried to help but I was impatient. This seems like it is for people who are going very shrt distances, or have an hour or more to spz

I use this app to get to and from work often. Last month I keep getting charged a "out of service" area fee every time I park my bike. I've accumulated over $250 of these and have to spend at least 10 minutes on the phone with guest service every time it happens. The GPS on the app clearly shows I'm parking in an approved area when I "review my ride". I've tried to contact a higher level of support and the phone operators straight up tell me no. The customer service has been very disappointing.

I was using this like two times a week, then for no reason it stopped working I ended up finding a new transportation and now a month or two later I decided to give it a shot and it still doesnt work, it always shows nothing in my town and even when I go up to the bike and try to scan it it wont work. I live in a college town so I know the bikes are still running I see them all the time. On top of that the help page in the app wont load, and trying to get ahold of someone for help is impossible.

The app has hardly any information available. If I want to see the receipt, I have to go to a website, which for I haven't been able to get logged in on, and the change password email and form isn't working. I was charged $25 for a short ride, and had to Google around to find out why. The bike was great but the user interface amd user experience is awful.

I absolutely loved the bikes in Dallas! Helped me with fitness at a low cost! I was able to see parts of my town that I otherwise never would have! The speed and overall control of the bike gave me a clear mind because I had the ability to get to and from places and even get out of bad situations (if one were to arise) quickly. I do not feel safe on the scooters across the board and had an overwhelming lack of control. I will not be using this service or any other scooter until the bikes return.

Bikes are great but customer service is non existent. With the technology still not perfect, they need to do better at customer service. For example, I tried to unlock a bike but it gave me a error message. Out of service or something. So I unlocked another bike. Unbeknownst to me, the first bike was registered in the system as "unlocked" and in use. And remained so for >2hrs. So now I have a erroneous charge close to $40 and customer service wouldn't respond to my emails. That's unacceptable.

This app and the bikes themselves are the most unreliable they've ever been in Sacramento. It's a shame because when it works, it's awesome. Specifically: -- bikes that you reserve, "unlock" with the QR code, but can't actually use because the actual lock is jammed and won't come out despite pulling the cable to full length and pulling as hard as possible. Meanwhile, getting charged for every minute while this is happening and you are trying to resolve. -- Rides that you want to pause by putting a bike on hold. But when you physically lock the bike in the service area that has a strong LTE signal, the app giving no indication that you were even on a ride, leaving you to wonder if you are being charged, if the bike is still unlocked, if someone else can steal the bike while reserved under your CC, etc. -- Shall I go on?

EQ. C. Aug 25, 2019

So much potential here, absolutely abysmal execution. Nice geared bikes, far better than Lime. App is atrocious. Used on several tier 1 phones and 50% of times it freezes unlocking bikes. Necessitating a customer service call. App is supposed to make life easier and travel faster, all it does in practice is frustrate, take money, and waste your time.

horrible, couldn't even get the app running, sign up is defective. i tried signing up and using the app to use the jump uber bikes, i couldn't sign up when i put my email password to the email linked already to my uber account. it was incredibly frustrating and i had to walk to my destination. i was hoping i could rely on getting quickly to get things done quickly

Really disappointed in this app. I paid for the monthly plan, which allows 30 minutes of free use daily. On three separate instances, when I tried to lock the bike after use, the app did not recognize that I'd ended my ride. This resulted in me being charged for way more time than I actually used the bike for. Most recently, this happened to me this morning. Now, this afternoon, I am unable to unlock any bike due to an issue with the app. Very unhappy with this unreliable app.

Went downhill (no pun intended) after the Uber acquisition. Price went up and service went down when the app was merged. I was using this as a way to shorten my commute since it was available in the DC; unfortunately, the last straw was when I was incorrectly charged two consecutive parking fees (same commute that I had been doing over a year). That's $50 bucks. Never got a full refund from them eventhough they said they would. Way to take out competition Uber. Bought my own bike now.

Yesterday night I rented a bike and took it to my usual homespot to finish rental.. It was dark, I was tired, so I clicked the usual app buttons to finish - only to find that I had been charged an extra 15€ (!) for ending "outside business area". Neither did they announce a shrinking of this area, nor did the app show an extra warning/click for this fee. Never again - will switch to scooters. PS: Support reimbursed me for extra fee - 2 additional stars for fast and attentive customer support!

Three of us got the app and rode the bikes. Unfortunately, we didn't receive a notification that we were going out of area. When we stopped riding, it wouldn't let us end the trip. When we called customer service we were all informed there would be a $25 fee each for parking out of area. Luckily those fees were waived for our trips, but I'm not going to use this again because of large OOA fees. None of us three knew we were out of area. No notifications or anything. I don't wanna risk it.

Good potential but a lot of development required! The app is easy to use however the QR code do not work and it's a waste of time walking around trying to find a bike that would actually scan The red area where you can't park is basically London, so you end up paying dearly the minutes you use the bike and you hold on on to it The bike is ok, but your stuff can very easily jump off the basket at the first hole because there is no shock absorption Too pricey for the hassle
