This is a really good app. It has free workouts which include an optional warm-up. There is also a paid premium option. The tutorials are useful for beginners and for those getting back into jumping rope. It can also sync with Google Fit which is a bonus. Overall very good.
Like the app overall, i found nothing that compares. Very annoying that it keeps forgetting my favorited workouts. This is such a standard functionality and as a paying subscriber I just expect things like this to work! Also I would appreciate to be able to comment my workouts with useful information for next time. Also the statistics part ("Activities") could use some love. Tell me how many jumps per month, show me which workouts were completed most frequently. Jumps per workout would be cool.
Update needed. Its not allowing to save the whole program as favorites..only day by day saves to favorites.. once the day is done you have to manual search the whole program again. Please fix the favorites section to be able to favorite the entire program not just one day of the program , its causing to delete it iff favorite once the day workout is completed. This never happen in the free trial it shouldn't happen for the premium members
It's difficult to know where to start and how to progress. I followed both the beginners program and then went on to get lean challenge but its way too much even though I am reasonably fit. There is no advice on the program about the foundations you need before following the program.
Very clear and concise vocal direction for workout and timing. I am trying the free version but tempted to get the premium for more intricate workouts.
App is a lot less useful. Once they went to the subscription model, it's more difficult to find something new to follow along to. They lock away everything under premium. I can only hope in time they get more competition in this space. who wants to create a Facebook with all the privacy concerns. Maybe that's an addl revenue source for them. Edit for dev response. You listed the offerings, but there used to be much more in the basic version. Now it's all locked behind the yearly premium version
Super fun and easy way to get into jumping ropes. The workouts are changed weekly and seasonal which makes sure you get fresh content regularly. There are so many different levels and purposes and there are awesome challenges if you're up for something to commit to! I love it! Highly recommend it!
Reviewing with a monthly subscription. App was great before the visual update. Updates have been rather buggy which takes away a lot from the experience. Sometimes clicking to start a workout sends you back to the menu and you have to start over, the filter function works if you're lucky, my favorite workout hearts are gone frequently, reinstalled the app lots and more. The app has a great variation of excercises to get your neurons going and still good for a fast workout or more.
Last update misaligned my timers on my galaxy Z flip3 using workout apps in flex mode. The timers are barely visible especially this one. It was fine before update. Please fix
the workouts in this app helps me to get the most out of my jump rope workouts. there is the paid premium subscription, but they also provided you with a few free workouts that they change weekly.
Generally obsessed with jumping at this point. But can we stop asking for a review after every workout. I understand wanting feedback but it's become obnoxious.
Really really great and versatile workouts available here. Love the ones that combine jumping with bodyweight exercises!
The best way to get fit. Full body workout that can also travel with you anywhere and it is easy on your joints! Love it
great workouts, good options, with time frames you can work through easily and challenge yourself to be better.
There is too many problems. I have the paid version. The filters do not work properly. I select one workout as favorite and do not see it appearing in my favorite list.... I really do like crossrope but they really need to debug this app
Love the app. Been using it since June. The app no longer shows the estimated calories burned after the workout is complete. The option is in the "activity" but the calories burned doesn't show.
Bought the premium to see what on offer & since going "premium" the functionality of the app has been stripped down considerably. Theres no way to separate types of workouts, or sort workouts based on what ropes you own, so much choice has been taken away despite them having the gall to ask for money under the guise of an improved experience.. Don't charge premium prices & not offer premium features.
I love this app! I started with my own ropes and after a few months bought the quarter, half and one pound. Game changer! The workouts are easy to follow, and lots of variety. Along with counting my calories I lost 25 lbs last year.
Love the app. Love the workout. Been doing it throughout the lockdown period. And it has helped a lot in keeping me sane! Only thing is I can't afford your wonderful set of jump ropes, being a Indian musician out of job. 😔 Big fan of your work. #dothething
Advertising for subscription model is annoying. Good work outs. They removed calories burned estimation.
stumble upon this when looking for jump rope recommendations, and couldn't be happier because it makes his hiit with jump rope and core..amazing app and easy to follow along. It quietly instructs over my music!
great app. recently started crashing on open , had to uninstall and reinstall but now works fine again
I love this app because I do watch my favorite show and follow the workouts at the same time. I also like the sharing capabilities once I've completed my workout.
I have loved this app. Just getting back into a regular fitness routine and I wanted to start skipping rope. Finding this app was like finding the perfect trainer, it just clicked for me. The instructions are super clear, the exercises are well balanced (some super challenging, others allow you to recover), and the built in timer makes following along simple and intuitive, just like you were in a real class with a real coach. I love it.
I can only speak on the part of the app that I am using, the free version. Pros: Proper tutorials Versatility (more than just jumping rope) Challenges (if you don't know where to start) Workouts (if you don't want to commit to a challenge) Cons: So the ropes themselves, although worth it, are quite pricy. I got mines as a Christmas gift this past year and was hoping to have at least one week free trial of the premium version just to see if the subscription was worth it, but no it didnt.
Still a great app but it's disappointing how much they have made premium only content. I understand it, but uts a little hard to swallow after having so much great free content for so long. I LOVE my ropes though! They were a great investment. I've had them for about 3 years now. People pay a ton of money for gym memberships so it's balanced out well in my opinion.
