Just Dance Controller

There's nothing wrong with the app, the problem is Just Dance itself. It becomes less and less nostalgic because people loved the old versions and modes of the older games of this, and people hate that kids mode only 3-year-olds love it! And it keeps on getting boring-er and boring-er and more and more repetitive!! So please fix it! Personally for me I don't see any problems with it I kind of like it because I didn't really play it much. So here's my assignment Ubisoft: make it more fun please

while i have no doubt the app itself works fine, in order to connect your phone to your console/platform that has the Just Dance game, you're required to connect both devices to the same WiFi connection. However, living in an apartment complex seems to be a HUGE flaw in this system; even though both my phone and Xbox are connected to the apartment WiFi (both using my WiFi account), the game cannot detect my phone. and, because of that, i can't play the game at all! Great! (not)

Well, I've had this app for awhile now. I got just dance 2018 for PS4 in Sept. I downloaded the app and used it all the time for about a month. I stopped using it for about a month. Now I try and log back in and it literally will not stay connected. I can connect successfully but as soon as I get to the music selection it disconnects the phone. Not sure if there was an update or something but super disappointed that I can't play my game any longer. I'm giving it a 3 because it was awesome, but now not functional. Please fix!!

This has been a great app so far. On the 2021 release, exiting the world dance floor is a problem. After confirming yes, it freezes on the continue button, not allowing you to click it. I get around it by pushing the home button on my phone and quickly going back into the app, which then it will allow you to continue. Otherwise, this app works like a charm!

It's a great app and it works very well with just dance 2020 and its user-friendly. However there are some issues. First of all there is no way for you to hold it correctly. While that sounds good it isn't because there are some moves where when I hold it with one way I get ok in that move, whereas if I hold it with another way I get perfect while I am doing the same move. Also there is another slight issue that sometimes the vibration won't work and I have to close and reopen again.

It's a good app after finding out you have to have the Xbox app and signed in to the same account that the device (Xbox, PS4, etc.) is signed into. The only thing that I wished was different was maybe something that could stop you from clicking off the screen especially if you have the main controller. Like a settings button called cover screen. In the end the app is okay.

I use this on my ps4 and have had very few issues with it. I had read a lot of reviews with people having issues with it desynchronizing, which I had initially but found the problem was with the timeout function on my phone. Basically, the phone doesn't register its being used and goes into sleep mode. I just went into the settings in my phone and changed the lockout time to the max setting, 10 minutes, and problem solved. Also just watch your fingers, I sometimes turned the phone off

How are we suppose to play just dance 2015? It has no support to connect to UPLAY anymore. It used to. And this app is not compatible with it either. I don't have the space to set up my camera and move controllers which is why I like to use the mobile app controller. At least put all the songs from older versions of Just Dance on the Unlimited service for seamless play. There are older songs I really wish to play.

I play Just Dance on an xbox one and I use my Samsung Galaxy 9+ and it works just fine. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it sometimes disconnects and it's frustrating during gameplay. I've played with friends and they never have connection problems and I've played with up to 6 people using this app, it's great! I love the game and my friends don't mind the connection problems sometimes because we're having such a good time! :)

I use this with my PS4 and it works perfectly. I was concerned about the connection after reading some reviews but have no issues. My only true issue is user error - accidentally turning off my screen, which can disconnect the controller if you don't realize fast enough. I have Just Dance on Wii, so in comaprison, I think it captures the movements just as well as it does when I use an actual controller to play.

I hate this app. It works when it wants to. It always disconnects right in the middle of a song which is very annoying. I have to restart my whole phone just to get it to connect and stay connected. I have JD 2017, 2018, 2019 and I just bought 2015 because it has some songs I wanted to dance to on it l, but I can't play it because the app is no longer compatible with JD 2015. I didnt want to buy the PS4 motion controllers, but it looks like I have to now. Very disappointing.

While it is nice to be able to use your smartphone, instead of having to use the expensive controllers or motion capture... There are issues. The main one being that it's REALLY easy to accidentally click out of the app... Not to mention, I felt that it read better when shaking it randomly than actually dancing. Still... Rather a free app than getting controllers. Though, I do regret getting this game in the first place.

Buggy af. It worked back in March when we first bought the game, but now it won't connect to our PS4 and the PS4 doesn't detect it. We've tried everything Ubisoft have in their instructions on the website and nothing works. Apart from that, back when the app did connect, the game wouldn't pick up on a lot of movements done perfectly. I've been dancing for 30 years, my current dance style depends on being able to follow a leader's moves instantly, so believe me that's not the problem here.

Okay app, however it's quite glitchy. Half the time it will put an X on my score (where it says good, perfect, and what not). If this gets fixed I'll change to 5 stars. I might have a perfect streak and all the sudden it will start putting X's, then I either have to pause it and fix the issue or restart the song. Which doesn't really make a difference because it will repeat the problem.

With the 2019 version, the only issue I had was that the screen would randomly jump back to the top while I was looking through songs. With 2020, that still happens randomly and it randomly loses connection while I'm playing (same with 2021). Doesn't connect to 2022. Very frustrating. Rating goes down each year.

The app worked the first time on our Xbox 1. But the second time we tried to play our phones wouldn't connect. We were on the same wifi as our Xbox. The directions to fix it were incomplete leaving it almost impossible to fix. I would recommend just getting an older version of Just Dance.

So, honest review, I love the game, however, the mobile controller rarely if ever gets it right. I play on Stadia, Just Dance 2021, I can on my best songs get 100/140 perfect, can place in the top 20 online rarely. I play this on another system, for example an Xbox, I seriously get 138/140 perfect. The controller does not detect small movements at all, so slower songs such as Larcimosa and Temperature are not going to do well for you. The controller does not recognize complex movements too

I feel like this app just keeps getting worse! I saw the comments but didn't really experience too much until later on. Then, it kept getting worse! Now, we are at the point where it won't even show our console as a connecting option for the phone. Only playstations?? I tried manually connecting but it says "it's not on the same wifi". In my opinion, I would think Ubisoft wasnt part of this app at all. Honestly starting to become a waste of a download 😒

Connected easily to my xbox series x the new console ( and connected to the upstairs series s ) the other new console worked really well just sometimes you drop your phone and it picks moves up really well . Think its a great app and can't wait to use it with just dance 2022 as it has loads of different just danc on it . Don't change it , its great as it is . Did not loose connection once

Seems to work pretty well for single player, but for multi-player the second person's account can't connect to the app and they have a random dancer card and can't play with their account like other multi-player games, which for me and my sister is the whole point we compete against eachother and if one gets a higher score on the second random account it's lost. I would say they need to make it possible to log your ubisoft account into the app and then connect it to play station/xbox/etc.

The game is fun. Well, kinda. It's hard to play because the controller always disconnects and then I have to reconnect it and it disconnects again and it's just a neverending cycle. Just Dance is fun but if you're going to play for a specific amount of time only, just know about half of that time is having to reconnect you're controller.

When I first purchased the game in 2018 and the PS4 the Just Dance Controller app worked great. Now, the connection between the app and the game is awful. I cannot even get to the list of songs without disconnecting. I have tried all the troubleshooting tips, the issue remains. Please fix this issue.

Nice app, easy to use. As other people have stated, the movements are not always tracked accurately. I was doing terrible for one of the first songs I did, but somehow got 4 stars. Other times I'm doing the exact move as the coaches, and I get an "ok" or X. This is just a suggestion, but is there some way to get the app to still work even if I shut off my phone?

You should be able to turn your phone off and the app continue to work. I was playing just dance with my friends and about two minutes later I realised I hadn't been gaining any points and my mini character wasn't on the screen any more. I started to get annoyed and wonder why it wasn't working only to realise whilst playing I had accidentally turned my phone off and it had kicked me out of the dance. The idea is cool I just wish they had thought it through more.

The tracker is only accurate when it feels like it on Just Dance 2020 and I even experimented by simply going into different songs and moving my arms all over the place getting a new high score on a song I actually tried to be good at, this tracker is not recommended if you are wanting to aim for leaderboards, take this from a man who was 1 point away from The Dancer of The Week twice!

I thought at first at was a scam, guess I was wrong. This app is REALLY good. *Note for another person who is going to download it*- sometimes when I hold it on my hand, my hand presses the off button. When your phone is off it will but all your moves to X's. Just make sure not to hold it too high.(or it'll turn off)
