The one time purchase VIP is more worth it than a regular subscription. Allows you to plan easily running/walking/cycling... routes and follow them + import/export GPX files. The editing lacks a bit of features though : 1) you can't edit an imported GPX file, even with the eraser 2) you can't split the road you draw, meaning if you made a mistake at the beginning you have to go all the way back and start over again Besides this, the app runs well and smoothly. Great job Lapaca devs!

I love the idea behind the app BUT when you draw a path heading in diagonal to the left of the screen the floating window indicating the total distance is hiding the map details you are precisely willing to follow! Pity because it renders the path definition totally imprecise in that direction. And this flaw gets quickly quite upsetting :( An option should allow to suppress this window when drawing the path. And a path eraser would be nice to have rather than undoing the whole previous drawing

This is the type of app that I've been looking for for a long time, I travel a lot on my motorcycle and always looking to plan a run and this allows me to customize which roads I want to be on. I still consider it my go to app, but the crashes have to stop....6 times it crashed...🤨!!! I'm getting absolutely sick and tired of this app crashing all the time! I'll draw a route approximately 100 miles and then all of a sudden the route will simply freeze up and disappear!

Well unusable now for free users if I have to pay to even save a route. Also I would prefer a flat fee... Off to Komoot then. I'll check regularly to see if things change and update this review accordingly because, surely it's a mistake. Edit: To allow free users to save up to x amount of routes? And an option to purchase the app for a flat fee (not essential...), I could have sworn this was possible before the latest updates.

This app make it easy to work out how long walks are when walking and I like that it has a follow route feature. I think it would be great if you could download the routes so that you can follow along and open them up while offine using GPS only. If this feature was available it would be 5 stars from me.

I was looking for a custom bike route planner with bike paths and not just streets. I found this to be perfect for the planning. Very easy and straight forward to use with clearly understandable tools to use. Possibly for future additions a menu of stick on icons to use of points of interest might be good.

Mostly a useful easy to use app. However having the 'undo' button right next to the 'delete the whole thing' one was an oversight for me. One wrong move and you've deleted the whole route you've just spent time planning.

I needed something to plot my off road running routes. Exactly what i was looking for! take my money, thank you for making this!

After being frustrated with Google's enforced choice of routes, I looked for an app that allowed me to draw what I wanted and follow it. This came up, and I paid for it to remove the ads from the outset, as I like to support developers. This is a simple app, draw your route and save it. Once you have saved the route you can load it whenever you like and if you scroll around a bit you will find the follow function, which will keep the current position centred. It's not perfect, but it's useful, it's certainly better than 80% good, so I have been generous and given it a 5, not least because I emailed the developer with a problem and they got straight back to me with a workable solution. For cycling, which is what I use it for, the default scale under the "follow" is a bit too large and the junctions come up a little too quickly to be able to be able to get in the right lane. A choice of scale would be good at a later date. But all said and done, the app does what it promises and goes some way helping explore a place rather than just accepting what Google spits out. Good work, look forward to updates. Update May 4th 2020: Developer implemented my suggestion about the default scaling and it's perfect for what I wanted for, it now stays at the scale you zoom to and stays there until you change it. Bravo!

The idea is great and simple and the app sticks to it. But it also doesn't offer any extra features. You draw a route and it shows you the distance and estimated time. And with the tap of a button it snaps your route to nearby roads. But I refuse to pay 6€ for a feature that quite honestly I could program myself over the weekend. I was fine with the 1,50€ for the pro version. It seemed like a reasonable price. But it only unlocked a few settings, nothing else. Without snap this app is useless.

This is exactly what I needed. It makes it easy to plot routes and figure out the exact mileage. My only complaint is that it wasn't well explained how the paid upgrades worked. I thought it was a monthly payment for the basic features, but upon clarification from the developer, it is just a one time for the features. The monthly is a for syncing across devices. I'm glad to pay the $4 one time payment, and this app motivates me to run. I love it.

Fantastic App, just needs a few tweaks. This is superb, let down only by a few oddities; if you go to the menu and then back to the map, your route that you've just carefully drawn has vanished. If you save a route, there is no way to subsequently change the activity, you have to start again from scratch. You can duplicate a route but this is a fairly pointless option at the moment as you don't seem able to do anything with the duplicated route such as change activity. Keep working on it...!

The free version is just for walking but seems to work well enuff. There are a LOT of ads. It costs $5 (allegedly for all time but we all know how that works!) for ad-free version containing running, cycling and driving route planning. Seems like a lot to pay upfront based on very limited usage allowed by the free version. A one week free trial of the full version might be a better business model.

At first it was a great app. Simple to use. But now there are issues with pins on the maps. It keeps saying "did you know bla bla bla" even when you have tried making a pin on your map. And another thing that's annoying is that when you have your map open to look for direction and you shut down the screen. Then you have to find and open your map again. That's is really annoying when your running and just needs to find the information fast. I'm using the VIP version. Make an update quick!

Love it! It's great as you can see where each km/mile ends and challenge yourself to get to the next one. I'm particularly impressed by the CO2 tracker, where you can see the positive impact you've had by not driving the route! Suggestions/ issues - When following a route, it would be great if distance covered went a different colour or something. - When changing music or something, the route disappears and you have to load it back every time the phone times out. (Follow feature does not working

Did what I wanted it to do, but tremendous potential. I downloaded the app as i have been asked to lead a walk of 5km in my local area. It was a breeze to find the ideal route. I did find it difficult to draw a route accurately on my phone. It would be good if the app could provide the function to follow a planned route as I walk it and and to snap the saved route to the walk in real time. I have further development suggestions but not enough room here.

I like the ability to plan the route down to the exact road, is what I was looking for. As someone else pointed out, it would be great to be able to just draw a general line and make the app find the roads best matching my line, like Google maps find shortest path, but; along the roads I want to drive. That would make it really useful for me!

I needed an app to plan multiple walking routes to help me get in shape, and this app is exactly what I was searching for! A few requests. The ability to edit the middle of a route, without having to delete from the end to change. Voice nav. Export gpx file is not working- 0 kb and won't attach or save. Tell people up front there's a limited # of free snaps- wouldn't have used them so quickly... or better, a 1 week trial of snap. But all in all, it was well worth the VIP cost for this great app!

A really good app, I was using it for a while but treated myself to the premium version of it to use the snap to road feature. I use it to plan routes for cycle routes so I'm able to get a more accurate ETA due to being able to put my average speed in the settings and I'm able to get elevation data. My only nitpick is the snap to road feature is a bit tricky when you're in a rush as it doesn't follow the main road because it aligns to people's private roads. But overall a really good app.

Pig. P. May 28, 2020

This app has some good features, and $5 will be worth it, if it worked as well as it should. If you're not super zoomed in it goes a little crazy. Which can be annoying on long trips of more than a hundred miles. My absolute biggest complaint is not haveing an auto-save feature. It's happend multiple times where I've accidentally swiped off the app opened it back up and my entire trip was lost. Absolutely infuriating when I was almost done with a 500 mi trip that I had to route 1/2 mi at at time

First impressions are good! But, I've just installed it, so I'll be back with a review after I use it for a while. Ok (after six months), I can definitely cofirm this is the real thing. Compared to other "great names" like Garmin, komoot, etc., this one is so easy and intuitive to use, it makes me really mad when I remember all the unnecessarily frustrating moments I've had with the formerly mentioned ones, when I often gave up in disgust in the end.

Chr. K. May 17, 2020

App is absolutely great for drawings routes to see their distances and elevations for biking. One thing I believe that needs to be improved on is the road snapping feature. If you tap to create long straight lines, even on long straight roads, if there are many local roads in between, it may snap to those instead of line. I have theories as to why it does this and would love to submit more feedback on this.

Jay. M. May 11, 2020

Real potential, but before purchasing the pro version, I need to know some thing. Currently, if you leave the app, your route disappears from the main screen and you need to select your route again. Is this the case for the pro version? If not, this is possibly the biggest thing that needs to be fixed. Edit: after using my eyes, I can see there is a way to keep the route on screen! Will post another review once I've played around with Pro! Kudos, devs!

Great app! Use it with my buddies for drives all the time. Thankful for the route library feature, as well as the road snap feature. Extra bit I would love to see with the autosnap: different tolerance for different zoom levels. If I'm zoomed out and drawing on a bit with maybe an interstate, I'm not gonna want the autosnap to take little 2 second trips onto driveways and stuff. Maybe this could be an automatic thing based on zoom, or maybe it could be adjustable manually. Keep up the good work!
