* May 2022 - support still useless * Support staff are disgraceful, leave you waiting for ages, then come back with rediculous responses. Food delivers don't always turn up, despite being marked as "delivered". Pure lies! The app won't accept orders from local restaurants, says they don't deliver to my house, when they definitely do! And no, uninstall and reinstall the app doesn't solve the problem, despite insistence from just eat support staff. Lots of bad reviews - we can't all be wrong!
After leaving below review I got an email with a €5 vocher. Some consolation I suppose! 3* now. Very poor customer service. Food was almost an hour late. When I contacted support they offered a €5 voucher. Better than nothing I thought. They said they'd send it through to me but nothing came. When I enquired with support again the next person said they didn't know anything about it, couldn't see my previous chats, and just cut off our chat. I was left feeling very cheesed off! No pun intended.
I would give a higher rating, but the app inexplicably has stopped accepting my card payments so now I have to pick up the orders and pay by card there... No need for the app in that case. Same happening to a friend in Cork, needs fixing ASAP.. Tried calling several times but no answer
App shows order delivered even if the order has never been delivered to you, app is not able to send email notification or let you know the driver is trying to reach out your mobile. Basically if you miss the phone call from the driver, you won't get your order, get fully charged and just.eat customer support after few days of escalation with support, will only refund you 50% as per their policy. Think twice before using this app and service
Worst experience, never going to use it. Took my money, didn't deliver the food - a day before my exam! I was on the call for 2 precious hours! Wrote an email later. Tweeted. Not because of the lost money, but the ridiculous experience. The customer service didn't recognize their own order nos. I had to send a ss. And after that they agreed to refund half, and connect with the supervisor. It's been a month - no responses, no supervisor, no money. No Just Eat. No one I care about will use them.
Issue at the moment that is not present on the website. When I go to Checkout, it's just spinning constantly and never lets me get to the payment screen. Happens on WiFi or 4G, Pixel 4A running Android 11. Hasn't always been an issue.
Ordered online and the delivery was very late. There was very little the app could do in terms of refund/ reschedule. Managed to get a 50% refund but no order. In short, no dinner and robbed of 50%. Definitely would not recommend. Will never use again
trusted service but like to see more places participating. also missing REAL photos of the dish next to it. would help to decide.
Customer Service a joke, they can't answer any questions whatsoever and their response to everything is "I can only offer you a voucher". More training needs to be provided so they can say literally anything else. Customer service after ignoring all my questions, just ended the chat and left me with no solution whatsoever. Great service guys, well done.
Any problem i have ever had was sorted out easily and they actually care about you as a customer. Very much appreciated, highly recommend.
Good for ordering food but not real time information on where your food is. Sometimes food comes 20 mins before the expected time but you won't know that until it comes
Complained multiple times. Last order waited 2 hours to be told it wasn't coming and order was cancelled. Lied and said it was delivered to wrong address even though it never left the restaurant on the app. A supervisor was to email me within 24 hours. That was 2 weeks ago and still no email. No continuity of service. So many issues. Not worth the hassle
I have recently made an order for food from a restaurant I would frequent often and have ordered from multiple times. I was not satisfied with my order as I made a specific restaurant request and it was ignored. I reached out to JustEat to resolve my issue to be told they cannot assist due to there terms and conditions( my request was very easily implemented and would have made my order even easier to complete). As a result I will be uninstalling after 230+ orders. I'm very disappointed.
Lack of Google Pay is pretty inconvenient. JustEat NL & US (GrubHub) both accept it. Not sure why this region's app doesn't.
won't be ordering from just eat again.. to difficult to order with new payment method. lost my appetite while confirming payment had to close the checkout page while receiving "code" then start again..not worth the effort. make my own in future🤔🤔
I made an order, gave my address plus eircode, 25mins after delivery time, phone call, can't find me, give up!, after trying to explain, told them too keep it, went too just eat themselves, pasted the buck, it your name just eat, sort it!! I'll never order off you again, experience is very poor!!
Multiple times my payments haven't gone through for absolutely no reason and there was an incident where I was double charged. Never using the app again
When I search for restaurants by postcode, pick from the available options and then get to checkout it says "restaurant doesn't deliver to your postcode." I know these restaurants used to so I don't know why so many would be gone? Seems to be at random which restaurants work. Frustrating. Customer Service chat said they couldn't help. Please fix issue. Going to have to use uber eats till it's fixed as takes too much time figuring out which restaurants work and don't.
Customer service chat is slow and there's no way to navigate away from chat to get the order number. The app is also impossible to distinguish between UK and Ireland version if you have installed both.
Terrible. I was with no food loads of times. The customer service does not open at lunch time which is ridiculous for a food app. Too many times the wait was too long, or the driver left with my food. Also a few times the food came late and cold. I would not recommend just eat to anyone.
For the last few days the app is resetting, can't find my past orders, it's all blank. Ask me to confirm my address, navigate to find my favourite restaurant, then after having ordered a meal, and get a confirmation message, it's getting blank just like if I never ordered something. 🤔 Can you please fix this.
absolutely terrible UI since god knows what update. why is there a blank space with just my address greeting me the first moment i open the app? what is the point of making people click more? get greeted by my own address on a search bar > search nearby restaraunts > search cuisines > search more cuisines > and finally i can go to my choice of restaraunt. do you see the amount of time consumption this is for a food app? 🤔 and this is after i have an account? such lethargic dev team.
Food is average.. good delivery service but they always delivery to the wrong address and I do be waiting at the door for them that's the only down fall
Issue with accepting card payments I have attempted transactions on all my household cards and none go through. I've used both the website and app still won't accept it. It has been over a month since I could order . Frankly unacceptable to be left unaddressed for so long.
Order never arrived but marked as delivered on the app. When asked for a cancellation after a delay of 45 mins was asked to pay 50% as cancellation charge. Took some time for them to realise the driver marked the order as delivered without actually delivering it. Not satisfied with the online agents responses too. Would not order again.
App keeps showing me local take aways that deliver to my area, have delivered to me previously, and will deliver if called directly, but JustEat keeps telling me places it shows me in my area won't deliver to me.
Would be 5 stars but it needs a Quality of Life upgrade. You enter in an address at the start look for food that delivers to that address. Then when you finish your order it selects from presaved addressed instead of the one you entered at the start. This has led me many times of the order going to the wrong house. Completely my fault I know but what is the point of entering in an address at the start if you're going to default to presaved addresses.
This app drives me nuts. We live in the middle of nowhere in Ireland and therefore cannot get delivery. However we don't live far enough from anywhere that we can't pick up a take away. Everytime I try to order on the app it forces me to put in my address even though I know I cannot get delivery. I just want to be able to go on the app, search my the restaurant name and place my order.
fast, but terrible delivery policy and refund policy. I had 2 separate orders delivered to the same address at a hotel. 1 meal arrived and the other did not. 1 delivery guy brought the food to the receptionist desk, the other did not, and claimed they attempted delivery, but did not bring the food to the desk or tell the receptionist which room (which I put in the notes on the order). when I spoke to customer service, they could not get the food re-delivered and refused to give me a 100% refund
