Just Rain

Great app, relaxing and just about everything you need from an app like this. All I would like to see is better directional control because from left to right, it goes both channels to only the left and then jumps to both channels again in the middle. Kinda annoying, and it makes sense if i tap the left of the screen and only get the left channel and vice versa.

Great app with a very good rain sound. I love being able to change intensity and add thunder. Only issue is that it doesn't seem to darken the whole screen in auto-dim for my phone (15% of screen left uncovered at the bottom) which makes it still a bit too bright in a dark room. I would also love to be able to switch the screen off and still have the sounds.

Honestly, I personally don't really like rain so I shouldn't be rating this but I feel like if you are in the right environment this can be very satisfying. There are a few extra features which are also really helpful in helping the mood. Lastly, I'd like to say in terms of graphics that by looking closely you may see some problems but that won't be affecting the app as well as a UI problem where you can't click the bottom left without opening the menu. Overall, a great app.

Good app, but these are some of its problems 1. There's a bug, if the direction of the rain is just to the left of the center, the sound in my right ear drops immediately, there's no gradient, in just instantly drops. This might be fixed in future tho. 2. And you can't change the orientation without turning off the orientation lock. This doesn't make any sense as, it's already in landscape mode, I should be able to change which direction is the bottom just by rotating

The best rain sound simulator I was able to find: it's realistic, not repetitive, and doesn't have break, gaps or glitches. I wanted to put five stars, but unfortunately app doesn't work with screen off, even the paid version. It is also not very configurable and thunder sounds doesn't have much variety but it isn't a big problem.

Really enjoy this, but I would absolutely love it if you could save the settings and make the selection buttons a little larger and easier to click. Having to click through them every time is a pain. I usually click all expect mute. The menu button always take me 4 or more tries as well. I would love to see those issue addressed, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

This is a solid app. You can control the intensity and direction of the rain, plus a few other options. Only major flaw is that you can't play audio while the screen is asleep. I suspect this is due to the app running as a standalone application instead of a service, so I kinda get it. Its a bit dfficult to work around that problem.

I love this app. This app has a simple yet relaxing concept. It's relaxing to adjust the intensity and the direction of the rain just by touching the screen. It has only rains; so I suggest to add some background noises (eg: birds, animals, wind etc.) in the menu for us to choose from. Also, I want this app to be active in the background while I go to other apps.

Love the app! The rain sound like a real rain and the raindrops falling though the phone scereen.... Just mmmm))) The controls are very nice - just tab on the screen to change rain direction, speed and it's sound will also change. However, there is no ability to play rain sound with the screen turned off as well as there is no timer :( Which mean you can't use it to fall asleep with the rain sound((( Hopefully, the developer will add those functions someday...

This is a really decent game. Theres no spammy ads or things to buy, its just rain that you can control the level and direction of with moving your finger, and i love the simplicity of it. The best thing about it is that you can connect it to your bluetooth speaker, play it at full volume and put it on the windowsill to trick people into thinking its raining outside. Its great. Highly recommend it.

Dropping my rating for this abandonware. Maybe a neat thing to put on an old phone you have lying around as a kind of desktop screensaver, but not being able to function while the screen is off is a dealbreaker. I paid extra to "unlock" extra features and sadly the most obvious one is missing. After a year and a half without an update in sight, it's time to move on.

I was comfy with paying a dollar for extended features, the app was fine even without but it was really only a dollar so why not. ~~What I don't enjoy is that I couldn't put the app on my tablet with the same benefits, because it has no function of "restore purchases" which makes me think that if something happens to my phone, those extras will never be available again, which makes paying for them in the first place a scam, and that's not very nice.~~ Ignore the ~~ part, it just needs some time.

This app is amazing!!! Its minimalistic design is beautiful and pleasing to the eye. The sound of the rain is lovely and feels realistic. It helps me sleep well especially since I can control the rain. You can use Spotify in the background with the rain!!!!!!!!! The only thing is, I wish there is thunder, but its not a big deal.

I love this app because it's exactly what is advertised by the title, Just Rain. There isn't anything that can go wrong with such a simple app to relax myself while I sleep or do homework. I like the seamless transition of light to heavy rain and the visuals too. However, this app cannot stay active while I use other apps. I would like to have that option, since I also do homework on my phone. To improve this app, I would suggest having other rain environments, like being in a car or house.

I was searching around for an app with realistic rain sounds and all of them had some annoying add or were too loud and artificial. With this one it sounds pleasantly muffled,like hearing it out your window. The animation is very nice to look at as you fall asleep and I like how you can change the intensity by tapping on the screen instead of a menu or settings.

Okay, I genuinely, sincerely and honestly love this app! I use it as a clock display when studying and working and it seriously helps me concentrate every time. The only thing I find odd is that I purchased the full version 'once', but weeks later I think, the app cancelled my purchase somehow and just automatically cut the same amount from my account balance once I topped up my number - which doesn't make any sense Dev. For now though, I still have the full version but I had to pay for it twice

People who are giving this a bad rating obviously don't understand what this is for... or at least not for me. I have a really hard time falling asleep sometimes for hours but listening to the sound of rain knocks me right out. I have tried others but the audio and visual combination of this particular rain app is just perfect and soothing for me. Thank you to the creators. Thank you for a full 8 hours of sleep.

Overall, very nice. I think your extended features are reasonable, and the free features are good, too. If the app would continue playing sound after exiting, though, I would rate 5 stars. I love the app, but I'd also like to do other things on my phone while the rain plays in the background.

Why doesn't it play while out app or with locked screen? A lot of other audio players do. Otherwise, the sounds are nice and crisp, if you don't mind not being able to do anything else on your phone or sleep listening to this with a locked phone. Spotify has rain sounds which work even when out of app, however the sounds are not as nice or customizable.

Although I do enjoy this app quite a bit, I think it is missing a key feature. I'm sure you're in the works of it, but if not, I think you should add the capability of either suspending the app and going to a different one or simply turning off the phone or smart device while the sounds of rain continue. If this is a possibility, I'd love to know. If not, I, again, highly suggest you to add it. Other than that though, keep up the great work.

This app helped me out a lot because it saves you the time to go through youtube and then play a whole 3-5hrs of rain and thunderstorm video but the sound is the only thing you've ever wanted. I recommend this app especially to those people who's having trouble sleeping same with. And i also like the part that you can set the speed or rain falling depends on the mood you are having at the moment. i hope you guys can make other useful apps like this im very thankful. It's a really relaxing and soothing app and the extended features aren't expensive at all! this app helps me sleep better or make me feel relaxed when i have it on in the background. with this app you can adjust the weather with a few fingerswipes. when you have bought the extension you even have a few more options available. you can select that the rain changes from time to time, you can choose to make it thunder, you can select that the app will shut down after an hour and much more!
