Just Risk It!
Just Risk It! is a game of chance and strategy, similar to the classic board game of Risk. The goal is to gain territory by attacking your opponents, and eliminate them one-by-one. The last one remaining is the winner. A full game can now be done in 30 minutes instead of 3 hours.
The game allows up to 6 players, which can be either human or computer. For the computer players, you can choose between easy, medium, or hard difficulty, where each one uses a different playing strategy.
For extra challenges, download the expansion app "Just Risk It
- Missions". It adds 24 unique missions that you need to accomplish. Each mission adds a slight twist to the game, with different handicaps and obstacles required to finish the mission.

It's a light and nice Risk implementation that could become great with a few improvements: - RNG seem to be off a lot of the time. I've lost so many games because the AI becomes invincible and can cut through my troops like they are butter. - A slider for moving troops would be nice, especially in long games when there can be a lot of troops to move around. - Some variations other than the missions, like new maps (mission impossible - WHY!?) - Some AI improvements would be welcome.
I love this game, as well as the rule changes in this specific one, it's a great game to play when you have no internet, or want to play something with your friends. The only problem I've experienced is a glitch where when someone conquers a country, they sometimes get an extra 10 armies to fortify, other than that, amazing app!
I would suggest a more challenging Free Play. One that isnt easy to master once understanding the CPU motivation. Missions are a very clever add to the game, and keep me coming back. That being said, I really want to know why I cannot beat Mission Impossible. I have conquered Asia in two separate spawns and both times after I go to another continent I am told I need to conquer Asia first and I lose the game. Very frustrating as I believe I can beat the mission otherwise.
Love Risk, & have played a lot of versions. I tried it for a week playing only the computer. Well it was ok. The game cheats alot, when 7 - 10 armies can't beat 2 or even take one them away, on a regular basis, it's time to find another version to play. Also, if you have say three territories in South America or three of four in Australia, even if the cpu has one territory with one army on it chances are the cpu will take it from you 9 of 10 games. It's just not realistic play. It's very tough!
Well done, but CPU opponents are too easy! I've done some AI programming, and I have a suggestion: make a function that takes a given state of the board and assigns it a score, from the perspective of a given user. That score should pay especially close attention to the control of continents -- an opponent controlling a continent should make the score go way down. Then, when deciding between possible moves, the AI can choose the highest expected value.
Simple, clean, fun... I've had this app off and on for years. I always like Risk, and this version is quick to play, with good algorithmic computer opponents to play against. Also, the challenges are a fun alternative to normal play ... Really nice app.
I think it does one thing really well wich is turning a 2 hour board game into a fast pased mobile app. However the hardest AI is still really easy and does not know what defense is. And the game lacks an online mode. And a home screen wich is wierd. Would be 4 star if it had online
this game must be using 1 die roll vs 1 die in every circumstance. I only played less than 5 games and i saw repeatedly a 2 troop unit defend and deplete several 4+ troop units surrounding. rhat would mean the average roll of each 4 dice would have to be less than 2 for there to be a 50% chance of this happening if it were 1 die for 1 troop. i believe most games do 2 die for 3 troops and 3 die for 5 as the max but even that is definitely not the case in this game. almost good
It is a very nice and easy to play version of Risk. The "Missions" option can prove to be quite challenging. Missions option really makes you try different playing styles.
I love the way this game looks and the straightforward controls. But it has no cards like the original or the ability to start game by manually picking your own countries.
Really impressive! Creating a game like tiss by one developer on the android platform is not easy! It is a lot of hard work and as far as I could tell no bugs and no adds! It is a keeper 🙂🙂🙂
I liked it,i plade the campaign,it was good until level 5.On the fith level it tells before u start the mition that all the other computers are on hard mode,they are only after u and that its in possible to beat.All i thouth was(yeah right,no problem) but it was a problem every frickin time.I would like a respond from the games designer please and thank u.
Love it, grew up playing risk and I don't mind the rule changes, it's a great game if you take it for what it is. Completed all the missions except the final 2!
What a concept. Make a simplified version of Risk that (A) can be played in just a few minutes (B) runs smoothly (and C) is an absolute BLAST. 5 stars well deserved! Now if I could only beat Mission Impossible...
Perfect. Quick gameplay, challenging enough logic to keep it interesting. Only half way through the campaigns, but it is exactly what I was wanting, since I was twelve.
Played the game for years. Love it! New phone, updated OS, now it keeps crashing. Please update the game. It's been one of my favorites! Still cannot beat the impossible mission.
A great little game. Moving forward, a more complex map would be fantastic (in addition to the classic map). For instance, add the Philippines and Sri Lanka
this game is fun but I have suggestions. add customizable countries and maps. make it so we can change the color of different nations and their names. also the AI likes ganging up on me.
Free play with friends doesn't work for my phone (redmi note 9pro). It says that game doesn't work properly because it's made for older versions of android. Can you fix that and update the app?
The AI is incredebly stupid. I have played so many games against the hard AI and it always plays very stupidly. The difficulty appears to only effect chances to win fights but that becomes irrelevant when you get australia and south america. You'll always win if you get eather one cause the AI is extreamly dumb and self destructs out of idiocy.
great game to pass the time. no serious issues other than the occasional lock up, but i think most people would agree that is the phones fault. nice job.
Like so many people have said yhe game is good at first. But then when the AI gets better it just changes your rolls to bad rolls. The game isnt smarter. Make the rolls more balanced and this game will be fun.
Great game, but it would be even better if I could find a walthrough for Mission Impossible. Can't find one no matter where I look. I must have tried it at least 50 times or more and I'm no closer to beating it. PLEASE HELP!!!
I love this game! Best risk game in the market place. Mission Impossible is a very tough mission. It took my almost two weeks to beat it, but it was worth it.
I gave it 4 stars because, although it is a habit forming game and can be enjoyable. The frustration level is high, however, since it really does seem skewed in favor of the defender. I know that you say it uses the same rolling rules as the board version, but I never experienced the difficulty you often see when you are attacking. It is common for the defender to win a battle where the attacker outnumbers the defender by a ratio of 5 to 1 or more. Randomizing can be hard.
