JW Language

Excellent app. I really like the feature where I can passively view flashcards while doing something else. It has a way to learn for everybody. Great way to get familiar with Biblical terms for someone trying to learn a second language. Has helped me a lot with Spanish. The only thing that would help a lot is a daily reminders option, but not a big deal since I put a Google reminder. Keep up the great work Brothers.

I had a problem with this app taking about half a minute to open. I had to uninstall it because of a lack of space on my device, but when I downloaded it again, the loading times were fixed, and now it opens as quickly as JW Library. This is just a tip for those who might have this problem (and also something the developers may want to look into, though maybe the problem was caused by some obsolete buggy version that was somehow still affecting me, who knows). Worth the five stars now though.

I have found this app to be very helpful in learning proper sentence structure, phrases, and useful terminology. I really like the sample exercises and how different examples are generated if you choose to stay within the exercise to really test your knowledge & retention of what you've just learned. This is a well developed, helpful tool. Thank you for making learning practical, fun and interactive.

Brothers, this is an excellent app and very beneficial. The only problem is some of the audio is trimmed too short so that certain words are incompletely pronounced. For example in Vietnamese and Mandarin. Others too, but all in all an excellent app designed to save lives. Also, unlike the JW Library app, there is no way to prevent the screen from auto-rotating when using.

Wonderful app, I use it to study for my meetings in Korean. However, I have one suggestion as to what could be done to improve the app. For example, when I try to search the Korean word 견해 (opinion), it doesn't appear in the results. But if I search 견해를 (opinion (noun) + object marker) it appears because the results only show exactly how its written in a sentence. Please consider making it easier to find a word in its basic form for easier lookup. Thank you Brothers and Sisters ❤️

Its always been a mostly positive experience. However I have recently found that when I highlight text from Examining the Scriptures Daily, those highlights don't remain. For some reason the highlights from the previously always disappear. I to highlight and it stays. It's always just the previous days text that disappears. I don't I'm more if this an app issue or if it's related to my Google account as I have the same issue on my tablet as my phone.

It's a good application. The only problem is, The moment i start using the application it automatically downloads all audio files into my music gallery, which i don't want. Even after deleting the audio files.. I come back to see over hundreds of audio files again. Please do something about it. Thank you.

It's cool. While am still truly getting used to the app, I'd like to know how to download videos and audios within the app and use them when am not online. The fact that I must learn only when am connected makes things slow and discouraging sometimes. However, I feel and see that the app is great so far. May Jehovah keep up with you brothers.

There are so many useful tools to help memorize phrases and words. I'm very excited to use them. I'm trying to learn japanese and the only problem I have is the lack of furigana. I can understand what I read easier than what I hear, for some reason, but the audio clips make it possible.

Simply Fantastic! It makes it so much easier to learn languages, and fluently at that!! The audio and pictures help tremendously! The hard work being put in the app is so evident and the quality really truly speaks for itself.👏👏👏

Love this app! Great tool for preaching / teaching in a different language. One new issue I've been having (for a few months now) is I can no longer back out of the app (exit). Every time I try, it ignores the action, even though it says click one more time to exit.

Fantastic teaching tool. I had the app when it first came out and am very impressed with all the features added since then. In the future it would be good if there could be printable versions of the vocabulary and pictures

Enjoy learning French, it's clear, helpful. But they speak too fast & in setting the speed option gives no options, for speed, or its not working. I'm a beginner, so require slower speech to learn the pronunciation correctly, & the accent.

It is the most accurate, detailed, and easiest app to use out there. Simplifies the learning process, makes it fun and interactive. Not only has the English, but the other language in written and spoken form. Thank You 😊

The app is amazing. But there is a bug (at least in my device) in "activities game". I used this feature to practice a new vocabulary but not all words from my collection is used. Even when I repeat the game the same few words are used... never the whole vocabulary of my collection.

Thanks to Jehovah and dear bro sis. This app is useful. But there is a BIG PROBLEM occurs on ANDROID for a long time. When the PRIMARY language is CHINESE SIMPLIFIED , the SEARCH ENGINE to translate to any other language is NOT searchable . I tried on different android devices but seems all also have this problem... please consider adding change FONT SIZE FEATURE. Hope this problem is resolve so that we could find the translation faster and more effective.

I am first a visual learner, secondly tactile. This app is such a blessing as it has all the visual tools i need to memorize & associate words with forms. I am taking Spanish in college & will suggest this app to my fellow students. I am most excited to apply what ive learned in this app at work & out in the ministry!

After a day or 2 of downloading the app, the images don't show up. It's a wonderful app but I can't use it since no pictures are shown. Then I have to reinstall each time that they erase. Please fix. I would really love to use this app. thank you!

Thank you so much brothers I love the app! It is helping me build presentations in Vietnamese. Despite all my tries over the past year and greatly occupying my RAM, the pictures do not show up for each subject, only grey boxes. Also I don't see the word for heart or spoon.

This app is very simple to navigate and you learn fast the language of choice. They are adding languages once every few months. If you love language and you want to converse with someone of that language you can do so. Because I am in a foreign language congregation it has help me to communicate better to the families I meet in my territory. And for those who speak a totally different language from my territory, I use this app to find the language of their heart to give them a witness.

I'm having problems with the newest update with the galaxy note 20 ultra. Can't double back button out of the app and shows a weird notification at the top saying the app is running. Love the app though!!

There are a lot of easy ways to introduce you to many languages, which is helpful to pick up rather quickly compared to Rosetta Stone & other language apps! If I can learn as much as I have in this fraction of time, I can't imagine the knowledge I will be able to attain in a matter of months!

Beautiful and relevant learning experience. The only improvements might be to add more words and phrases, and some of the pronunciations are very unclear.

The app quality is amazing as everything from Jehovah's witnesses is. As soon as it opens it's clean, and simple. It is PACKED with tools to help learn quickly, even on the spot. Zero bugs. Every language. J.w. have translated the bible into more languages then anyone on earth, even Google. To give an idea of how much is actually here. Great work follow Jesus, worship Jehovah.

Really well designed application, quickly and easily helping to bridge language barriers and teach learners. Excellent resource to show / teach others basic Bible truths in their mother tongue. Focuses on the important elements without wasting time on non-essentials. Very powerful tool. Thank you!

Wonderful app but it would be nice if you could have a selector for your primary language that includes British English because I don't always understand half of the words exactly. This would be really useful if you could do this! Thanks!

Wonderful app. Very intuitive and easy to use. Great source of understanding the language you are learning. The activities are a good tool for memorizing the language.

My 10 year old son can use this app easily even without my assistance to learn a basic communicate language between friends or neighbors, which may speak another mother tongue. Its Amazing! There are qued pictures with verbal words and phrases for simple learning and understanding. Highly useful!

I like this app because it's easy to navigate. Also, the flash card feature, colourful pictures and listening feature helps to imbed each new word. Something else l like about this app is the regular updates.
