I was excited to give this app a try. I installed and did everything that was requested and it got stuck in the it takes 24 hours to process. With no job listings available because I can't get past the processing. I waited a week and it still showed the same thing. So I uninstalled it. I recently decided to give it another try after a month and it is STILL saying 24 hrs to process. So again I will be uninstalling it and am not going to try again. Waste of time
It was good to begin with, but when it comes to needing help, the support team isn't very helpful. Was terminated due to "un-accepting" a Jyve, even though I had contacted support, with no response, and only canceled, because I did not want to violate the Jyve terms. Asked if there was a way to be "re-hired", and was simply replied with a "there is not, thank you". I feel like this could be a great app, and great concept, except, their support teams, and "management" teams, are not helpful. 1☆
It's a dead end questionnaire. When taking the bicycle assembly test, it continually failed me because the " what required tools are needed to complete a bicycle assembly " question not only doesn't allow one to pass ( I failed no matter of the combination of answers given, the percentage of correct answers remained the same), it included misspelled word in answer. I know my bicycles as I have over 30 years in the bicycle industry. Ill give 2 stars for now
I been waiting since Sept 3 for my for these guys. They send me messages to finish the application but the app is stuck on the page where it says to wait for a background check to clear....and they dont seem to care. I sent multiple emails but all i get is a message to finish tha application lol
The newest update with "finding jyves" with all dates on one page is a horrible idea. I have to click not once but twice to figure out what day a jyve is on is frustrating. It was so much more convenient to go to the day I want to work and see what's available then having to click through what could be 10+ jobs to see if I can work any. Only blessing for me is most of mine are "just for you" but there are days I would like to know what's out there, so I can pick up more.(Love the "just for you")
Overall it seemed like a legitimate job. Orientation is unpaid,the guru or trainer was not prepared and late to the appointment. there's never any open jobs, even though it looks like your making $100 a job, you still have to pay your own taxes. it was also mentioned that you have to insure yourself witch costs $650 a year. I never received clarification on that issue. Overall it's worth it if you dont claim your work history or if you only work a fraction of the year.
Did Jyve from the beginning in the seattle area but when i stopped doing them so oftem and every so often i notice things change. eventally i was deactivated probably from lack of doing any which is fine but then when i tried to get reactivated it has been a hassle. no one responds and like everyone else says the communication is non existent.
Been "processing" since November of last year. Contacted them a few times and was told it is because there is no openings in the area. Checked one more time just now when looking for a few new gig apps and still the same almost a year later.
The App sucks. The first time I went to accept a job I had to "get certified" and it didnt give me the option prior to the jobs so therefore I lost the opportunity to get one of the jobs. There isnt very many jobs except like once a week and so this time around I went to open the app to accept a job and now it had to update even though I had it open yesterday and it was fine. Another job lost because of this app. I have 5 kids to feed in a freakin pandemic so no this app is not good.
Hello I have worked with Jyve for a week now and I love the Independence of it no boss standing over you. It is not complicated but it is physical. The one change I would like to see them make is to update the arrival time in the app if your truck is delayed or early. They also need to get better about delivered notification. I have found calling mission control is the best way to know what is going on with the truck.
THIS app is a waste of time for months after signing up its just keep saving processing. I been testing multiple apps for a paper my professor assigned me and after trying multiple apps this has been the worst. Support has not help resolve the issue my suggestion stay away.
Seemed promising at first, but after initially signing up was never any activity on this app though. Never found any work, aint even make it past a "jive along"...seems like a good idea and developers at least seem legit but need to work put area's of availability or a way to determine job availability vs. # of jivers or something..as is was just waste of time and phone's resources 🤷♂️
To all those giving bad reviews after August 2021 are due to the company regrettably going out of business. I used to work through this app and it was absolutely amazing. I made so much money quickly and was able to build my own schedule. Truly freelance retail done easy. Breaks my heart that it didn't work out.
This app is awesome for folks needing a side hussle that don't have a license or car to play taxi! The support staff is great and willing to help instead of treating you like a burden. My very first Jyve, the truck was late so they let me cancel no questions asked. 2nd try, the truck was in an accident and they let me keep the gig till next day. This app is a lifesaver!
**Update: Issue was fixed within days. Well maintained app. Been a Jyver for almost 2 years, absolutely love this app. The July update took away jyve listing by days. Now it just lists all available jyves for the next three days. Makes it harder to plan your jobs ahead and get the jyves claimed because you have to click details to see the date. Fix this and I will rate 5 stars like it was before this horrible update.
This app is good for extra money and only that!! If your willing to work without break and always trying to beat the clock then you'll like it. First you have to bid for your jobs at the same time as everyone else so the jobs are always gone within seconds. Then they adjust your jobs to a bigger then expected load then your stuck with a bigger/longer job. At the end of the day you'll probably work for less then minimum wage unless you're really fast or only do small jobs in different stores
I can't even give a rating because I don't know exactly why, after months of trying, that I have never received an Email from the company. They're others that tried after me & easily got to on boarding & working for the company, yet I've this email problem that just prevents me from doing anything. I signed up, then nothing.
This used to be one of the better gig finders . Alot of Walmart gigs especially. But the company just disappeared one day... This app no longer functions.
I've been working for Jyve around 6 months now. It's an awesome choice as a side job or for a main source of income. The app itself is very easy to use. The application process is quick and easy. My experience with this company has been honestly amazing.
Jyve is on demand-work, so I can execute when I'm available. The jobs are convent as I sometimes pick up work while I'm shopping in the store. The app allows me to browse the stores geographically, allows me to select what is available, and reminds me the day of the assignment.
Love this app and the job even if you dont get work cause they get pick off so fast. But great way to earn some extra money or just to learn something new. You even meet new ppl. Mission control is amazing they do there best to help you.
I really love this app. At first, I thought it asked if you need a car since most gig jobs are asking; but then I found out that they didn't and that the jobs are just stocking shelves. The more I did it, the more fun and relax I am then I was at my last job. It helps me understand of what we do and the support we get if we are stuck. The people that I work with are great and helping me reaching my goals in life. I hope people like me, that doesn't have cars, would appreciate working with us.
A RIP off unless they apply the bonuses. Which is rare. Texas manager Justin is rude & very unprofessional, I wish he'd be replaced. The Texas regional would be better off. Other states definitely get paid more then Texas does. Would give more stars if it wasn't for Justin. The new update sucks. A notification will come but nothing appears on the map. I use to could jobs on the map but now I can not. Maybe Justin took my work away.
Hi all I'm new to Jyve, but I'm not new to the grocery business. There are two issues that should be addressed which could save time and money. 1. Cases with no aisle number should specify if for end cap or display 2. Aisle labels should not be put directly on merchandise. When this happens taking the aisle label off destroys the label of the merchandise. This makes the merchandise less appealing to buy.
Unpaid training I signed up for this app after seeing an Instagram ad for it, I was curious to try and see how much extra money I could make. And I found out that the training isnt even paid, every single other company I've worked for has paid training. This app isnt even worth my time
They had me scheduled for training and they just disappeared. I called them and they said they we're no longer in Texas and I would get through the app once they started again
I have been a bike assembly Jyver for a few weeks now and I do enjoy the work. The app has several issues, I suppose I can chalk it up to being a work in progress. One item off of the top of my head is the Reports feature for a Jyve I closed out that day will not show me information on the Jyve I closed out, and the Yesterday's Report feature never worked. There's also issue with the time zones/UTC and a few other things that I have brought up to the regional manager. However I don't quite know why people are rating their Jyve experience here when this is the place to rate the app.
It is impossible to get this started. You can supposedly make your own hours after you drive an hour away for training if you can ever manage to log in more than once. I am so annoyed that it isnt even worth it. Deactivating my acct
App is hard to navigate cant find where to chat with support. And i try yo unlock work and all the jobs training have expired. App introduction says just hit cerification but there is no such section in the app. Disappointed cuz i did go on one training session and i thought this app was gunna be legit
There is no information in "reports" or "earnings" to confirm if I'm getting paid for previous jobs, and I've attached a profile picture to the "contact us" and there is still no picture in my profile or digital badge. Why cant a person just upload a picture themselves? Edit (3/6/2021). The last app update discontinued the link to Google maps for directions to location of store. The link was a very convenient way to get directions. Especially, when you take public transportation.
