5/24/2022: They finally fixed my payment info only to accidentally mess up my membership again. Once that was fixed, tried to go for my migraines but no Dr ever showed up. 5/15/2022: Have been a member since last year. Updated my card info. App didnt use my new card info despite it, kicked me out of my plan now wants 4 times the money. Ive been loyal, paid monthly, didnt over use the product. I feel betrayed. It isnt worth the new cost. Classic bait and switch. What a scam.
They really mismanaged my case to the point that it actually became life-threatening. I tried them out because I had a very low budget, but thus far I have spent more out of pocket than a regular clinic and I still had to actually go to a regular clinic to get a correct diagnosis. I will not be using this service again. ***Despite the response, the K health doctors were not the ones who helped me, and the way they handled my lab results was problematic.
(Update) Customer service responded, issued refund for ovetcharge. Eventually did talk to Doctor, my $2.57 prescription was filled. All worked in the end. Could be so great ,but app has glitches. What a pain. Sign up for 1 time visit. $35 1 time charge. Sit through 15 minutes of robo questions. Then only way to continue visit is to pay $49 monthly fee. Albeit my bank account has already been charged for the 1 time. I was just trying to refill a prescription Ive been taking for 7 years.
Thanks to k health, I literally have my life back. I can not afford insurance, so I could not afford to see a Dr about my anxiety and panic attacks before finding k health. I literally hid at home all the time and had massive panic attacks resulting in trips to the ER over basic stuff like grocery shopping. Now I actually look forward to getting out. I've developed hobbies that have turned into a home business and actually made a few friends. K health literally saved me from myself. Thank you!!!
It's not a bad app. It's probably good for people with anxiety and depression, but I feel I pretty much just paid a doctor to tell me to go see a different one in person, which I understand, some things just need an exam, but if the doctor looked at my answers for my questionnaire she would have known from the start if she could help or not. I feel that most of my anger is the fact that she only asked a couple questions, seemingly just to take up time before she told me to go see someone else.
UPDATE: Forced updates are aggravating, removing a star. Otherwise a good app. I downloaded the app, got in contact with a doctor almost immediately, and my medication arrived less than a week later. Customer service was very fast and helpful, even providing a tracking number when I asked for it. Seems like people don't know you can pay for a prescription ($12 a month for me!) and not anything else.
This app is a waste of money, time and effort. I needed to get my depression and anxiety medication but was laid off work and uninsured. A friend recommended k health. I have been previously diagnosed with anxiety and depression, and I went through the survey, answered honestly, all to see that k health would not help me with medication.
Was told when I started using this app that I should change my med to one of their approved brands that would work better and if wanted to switch back to my original I could at any time. I tried to do so today only to be told that lack of energy is a mood disorder and now I cant be helped at all unless I download a new app that (surprise surprise) costs MORE THAN TWICE the original price of this one. Not to mention the "MD" that told me this was talking like an AI bot. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
This has seriously been awesome! I had a upper respiratory infection and the doctors kept telling me I had covid. I did not have covid. I had a respiratory infection because I started vaping and my body is sensitive. They were the only ones to give me antibiotics and not argue with me about my body. I was better in a couple of days!
Not a fan. I've used other apps for doctor visits that I felt were better. The questionaire before the appointment doesn't allow you to fill in your own answers but rather choose from a list of answers. I thought I would be video calling the doctor but it was all a text message situation. I didn't like the experience and will likely not use the app again.
I signed up, filled out the med history, and made an appointment for the same day. When it was time to log into my appointment, the app kept opening the page to make an appointment and it wouldn't let me join the chat. There's no live support to help so I tried for 30 minutes but my appointment was cancelled and the next available appt is over a week away. I just want a refund because I wasn't able to use the service and i don't want to wait a week just for this to happen again.
They didn't even tell me I'd have to download an app at the start. I prefer ws platform but I literally sat on the phone waiting over 3 hours for a doctor and no response. The next day finally got on with the doctor but since you're texting there's no real discussion. I tried to discuss the doctor's opinion and she sent back a very rude message. Since you can only communicate in text it's really terrible experience. I think there's better services where you can actually video with a doctor.
Update 3/23/22: I have talked with customer service about my issues and nothing has happened. App still doesn't work for just says 'not all feature are available in your area'. Well they were when I started using the app, so what happened? This app use to be great, but not worth the membership now. App has been working fine but now does not work at all. It says services are not available in my area.....
Absolutely horrible. Signed up for the one time visit, went through all the prompts for diagnosis, go to chat with a provider and when I selected my state it states they currently don't have providers. I was charged $29 for nothing! Don't recommend this app to anyone!
Paid for a one time appointment for 29 dollars. Charged up front. Download the app. Answer questions. At end of questionaire only gives you an option to sign up for a 19/month subscription. I already paid for the one time appointment and thats all i intended to do to try out the service. But stuck by this subcription thing. No support to talk to just email and wait. Did the designers of this app even test this function?
I tried K Health and it wasn't for me. It took the Dr 4 hours to enter the chat, but the Dr was more knowledgeable than my former psychiatrist and gave options. This is a viable solution when presented with no local option. Update: Bumping my rating to 3 stars. Still displeased with the service, but customer service was accommodating and didn't make excuses or make misrepresentations. Very good customer service.
Terrible. The advertised $29 single visit is actually just you paying to use their AI symptom checker. You don't speak to a physician. So in order to speak with a doctor you have to sign up for the monthly subscription, an additional charge. The doctor I spoke with told me there were only 30 minutes for our appointment but yet took up to 10 minutes to send responses. Was then brushed aside and prescribed a medication that i told the doctor in plain text that I'd used before and it did not work.
The app is buggy, but customer service is prompt. Overall, easy to use and to manage simple mental health needs, I felt confident in the psychiatrist I spoke to. The bugs could use some work, as I was locked out of the app due to upgrades. Also, I initially chose the wrong state by accident, there should probably be a confirmation step just in case someone does the same thing. Luckily the initial doc I connected with was licensed in my state.
I love this app so much. It's so easy to get antibiotics and advice about the little things that would cost a fortune to get in person. UI is very easy to use and there are no ads that I've seen. By far the best app I have.
Very easy to use. The Doctors are very personable and knowledgeable. When I couldn't get an appointment for a massive dental abscess during the Covid shutdown help was just a call away. In no time I had a prescription for antibiotics with no ER wait time! The also referred me to Good Rx their discount medication app. I only paid $4 for a $42 medication and less than $20 for the phone consultation. THANKS K HEALTH!
Incredible App! I've used it several.times for smaller things even post covid. I love that I can do everything right from my phone, cost is super affordable and it saves me being a busy mom!
This app has been wonderful for my mental health. I strongly dislike having to go to the doctors office and feel like I'm being judged. This app is nothing like that... And the best thing is, I don't have to SPEAK to anyone, I can message back and forth and do other stuff around the house while I'm messaging with a physician. I love it!
The doctors are quickly accessible, but I've had several experiences now where they are impatient, a bit rude, and unwilling to discuss medical issues. They gave me bad advice saying I didn't need to ween off of citalopram, nearly killing me from withdrawals. I go to ask about possible interactions on the next visit and the doctor disconnected as I was typing a question. Pretty lacking overall.
First time using the app and I chatted with a clinician quickly and got my issue resolved. Hopefully there's no issues with the medication and I'll be able to pick it up later in the day. Considering how smoothly things went I would definitely use this service again.
Not having insurance is tough when something actually does go wrong. I used K health and was able to get in contact with a doctor who was able to prescribe me the antibiotics I needed. Its been 3 days and feel tons better! This is a great alternative to having to wait days just to see a doctor, and I saved money at the same time!
Downloaded this app as a hunch to see if it would work, due to health issues i am experiencing. Within minutes of downloading i was in contact with a family MD and she helped me out immediately, all in all took maybe a hour of time. Not to mention for the price it is worth every penny to have a doctor in your back pocket and receive help when you know you need it. I would like to see more work to really make this app as useful as it should be but from my experience today ill stick with K health.
I've had a great experience with the doctors but app needs alot of work. Theres been times the it never sent a notification the doctor was ready. by the time I went to check, the chat was ended because I didnt respond in time so I had to start all over (has happened several times). Also, no way to delete cards on file or update an existing card. If you need to update an expiration date, theres no way to differentiate which card is which because it only shows type and last 4 so thats confusing
Takes forever to connect to a physician and poor service. I waited 5 hours to connect to a physician and when I did, they said the name on my account was wrong. When I screen shot the "signed in as" page showing my name, the doctor said "I don't know about that tech stuff. Reach out to customer service for help." 5 hours for nothing AND no refund. For to Teledoc or another tele-health service where you'll get better and expedited service.
First visit went well. Was able to refill my prescription. It would have been easier if there was a symptom for hypertension or high blood pressure. Update: Was a good app but now unable to renew my prescription. The process doesn't complete. I tried reinstalling the app but was unable to log back in.
Great service that has helped me manage my allergies, asthma, and anxiety disorders. However, there are no notifications to let you know when a doctor has responded, and I have had to restart multiple conversations with different people to get a solution. Would be awesome if there was a notification system or alarm to tell you if the chat is about to close!!
