Well, it is my main mail app. That says something. And every time I tried to switch, the attempt remain uncompleted. Complains there are a few, but for something that gets your job done 90% at least, and is free, well, I can live with them! P. S. In addition to many, it is the only app I have found that when they say "dark theme" they mean dark theme!

I have been using K@mail for several years now to access my main email and my google mail. Today I have been informed that it will no longer be able to access google mail because you have not complied with their new security requirements. It's an excellent app which I selected after trying many different apps and I will be reluctant to change. Is there any likelihood that you will be making the app compliant with G-mail soon?

EFFECTIVE 31 MARCH 2019 This App will no longer work as Google has restricted access to Gmail because it no longer complies with Google privacy and security requirements. It's too bad no one took up continued development. This was a very good email client. K9Mail, from which k@mail originated is one viable alternative. Development of this APK ended in July 2016.

I love this email app however it no longer supports latest security features that Gmail requires. Is there any chance this will be updated? Thanks

I am also a paying user. If there is no correction, consider using Aqua mail instead...

Except for creating new folders, it's simply great.

It's similar to k-9 with more annoying popups.

I have used this app for a few years yet it has not been updated in a over a year. I'm on the current version of Android Oreo and this application is using over 40% of my battery a day. I can no longer justify using it. I kind of feel like I should ask for my money back. Not that I would get a refund but I really feel cheated.

Aftet developer response, uninstalled! VERY unwilling to work with end users requests. Every other email app allows for the floating button to be disabled. These REFUSE to allow this option...see response ti this review! Placement is in the typical scrolling area and I keep hitting the button! Allow this to be disabled, I will update ratings.

Till today 30/10/16 no one from this TERRIBLE apps follow up on my problem encountered few weeks ago.Just keep on giving me TICKET But no follow up action. Bunch of liars who claim that they will follow up on my case but never at all folloe up. Paid for the Pro version but encountered some problem.Sent out email to support team 10 days ago and no one bothers to reply. What is this ?? Beware of this email provider. I have finally DELETED account. Thumb down

I have loved K@ Mail from the first time I used it years ago, primarily because of how it handles folders..,. I can choose which folders are displayed and synced and since my work mail has many folders that I dont need to be looking at this is the only app I found that can handle that situation. Since I upgraded to a phone with Nougat, however, K@mail no longer keeps my mail updated when the screen is off. I believe this may have something to do with Android Doze and Version 1.15 is supposed to handle it better than previous iterations, but for me, my mail is not current when I unlock my screen and I have to refresh all my folders. ON Android 6, anytime I opened K@mail, everything was all current, all emails were synced, even if they arrived while the phone was screen off/sleeping. Now that is not the case anymore and I have to remember to refresh my folders. For me this is not a deal breaker, but its certainly an annoyance and I hope the devs are able to come up with a solution. Nonetheless, I highly recommend K@ Mail

It hasn't been updating and even if I do it manually, it doesn't always work. I use K9 because I have multiple accounts and it's been great up until recently. Please, I don't want to change apps again.

latest update has broken reply function. When you reply none of the to address information gets entered and worse still it deletes from and subject information from the original.

Ale. R. Jun 11, 2017

Broken. The Sync is not working at all the client itself keeps freezing without downloading anything or notifying. The only good thing was the image handling which is better then K9 client. Still looking for an hotmail client which notifies every minute if I got a new mail :(

This app works just fine with a REAL email service, Try GMX email service with this app. Forget trying to use this app with Gmail, it won't work. Google is all about Google.

Sadly, I am uninstalling and am now using Bluemail instead. The reason for this is that for about 6 months now, new emails have not been coming in automatically and it keeps saying "syncing disabled", even though I have changed all the possible settings in Android to make sync possible. The only way to fetch new emails has been by doing this manually. I have a new phone now and I thought it would be different, but nothing has changed. Very sad to uninstall, but I *need* the automatic fetching of emails!!! My previous 5 star review was this: I was using the trial version and accidentally managed to buy the Pro Version, haha! But it´s well worth the price and I don´t mind supporting the creators of this brilliant app, and also because I wanted to have my own signatures (which you can´t have in the free version). The customisation options are excellent and it´s very fast bringing in my emails. The only thing that never seemed to work is though, it does not completely delete trashed messages, even though I have it set to delete from server...
