Kaboom beat maker MPC - loops
Every drum beat can have an intro and a loop-able part that will play until you stop it. In the sequencer part you can create new drum beats or edit the existing ones and then save them on the device SD card. The drum beats are saved in a text files in a form very similar to that of a drum tabs so they can be read or even edited in any text editor app. Kaboom beat maker mpc will let you adjust the BPM from 60 to 220 and that will change smoothly even while a drum beat is playing. You can select the tempo or just tap it like in a good metronome app.

Samples are good but the sequencer is limited to 4 ticks per beat and 3 or 4 beats per measure, so no triplets or swing, no crazy time signatures. It's only straight rock or funk, it's a shame, it could be so easy to fix. I also wish the sequencer had smaller cells so you could see more and it didn't scroll so fast. IMPROVABLE
This is a pretty good if simple tool. The biggest issue is sometimes that some of the snare notes won't play each time which can seriously throw things off. Other issues are: bar i never seems to stay deleted and pasting bars doesn't work consistently. Toms and other time signatures would also be nice, but all in all, a nice bare bones app for exploring ideas.
Not your mother's metronome
This app is simply super... very usefull...easy to understand..i love this app
The added velocity control really makes a difference even if only three levels. Navigation is pretty good I had to get used to vertical scrolling. The only thing I'm missing is a tom! The realism of these drums tops the other applications I've tried. GREAT WORK!
The drums sounds arent bad, but the sounds dont carry over and echo like a drum would. You should be able to write a swing beat, and choose your own time signature ie 3/8 or 6/8
Amazing job, smooth App, quite a bunch of equivalent but non-free Apps are not as good as this one. Could be a bit nicer but still a really nice job. Sounds good on top of that.
The "shuffle" isn't a shuffle. It's supposed to be a triplet feel not a dotted eighth sixteenth feel.
