Kaiju Rush

the concept is very nice and i always love the pixelated style, the game itself is simple and fun. it just.. doesn't work well. in the way that it feels unfinished. there isn't any music, which might be intentional, but certainly doesn't help, and the game audio itself cuts out at random. there's a lot of graphical bugs, like the HUD staying up when you start the round, and purchases just straightup don't work. they charge you, only giving an "only available in app version" message. fun, fix it.

so much fun, i love seeing all the different kaijus !! however the game does have a bug that causes all game audio to mute after a small period of time which is really annoying. i'll have to restart the app three times in ten minutes if i want to continue hearing it past a run or two.

The game itself is good. Fun, simple mechanics. I wish each Kaiju had a special ability or different stats so it was actually worthwhile to unlock them. If that sort of mechanic is there, I never found it. But I'm deleting the game for one reason: the ads are disgustingly intrusive. They're constant, long, poor quality, and difficult or sometimes impossible to get out of even when they done running. I have had to restart the game a few times to get out of a particularly stubborn. Fix this

I love this game. I've poured more hours in than I can count, so you will understand my frustration when I say that it needs a bug fix. After every launch, the game gives the option to double (and occasionally triple) your earnings for a 30 second advertisement. More and more just recently, that option will be blacked out for me and I won't be able to double. It's only happening just now that on occasion, the option to launch again and continue the game is inaccessible as well! Please fix this!

Pretty fun and addictive game. I've only got a few problems with it: ads, crashes, and weekly payment options. First: I personally don't have anything against having skippable ads in your game as long as they arent intrusive. My problem with the ads is that they can glitch out, and I have to reload the game to fix it. Second: sometimes (because of ads) the ap just crashes, but it isnt a big deal. Third: I don't know who will pay that much WEEKLY for extra features, but maybe it works for you. 🤷

I really like this game and the cute characters and the whole idea really. I've noticed some bugs though, this latest event( and the last one), and the main game freezes when the round is over and I have the option to claim the coins or double it with ads. both options go opaque, and doesnt go to the next screen. I'm not sure if it's an ad triggering issue maybe?

I have been playing for about 2 weeks. I've already reach level 87 and completed the event levels. I enjoyed playing this game and hope more levels come in the future. I purchased the ad free option, it seemed to only save me from getting random ads. I still needed to watch the ads for extra coins and for the bonus box. I tried out the free subscription, it kept forgetting I was a subscription holder and I'd have to resub every time I closed out the app for any extended period of time.

I love this game, I think its adorable! my only issue is its very buggy. Every few rounds the buttons will be stuck and you cant do anything. The game just freezes. Every now and then parts of the screen will go black and it will go from one little black square to practically the whole screen going black. I have to close and clear the app from my recents and then re-open it to reset it. 3 stars till it gets fixed.

TL;DR: Buggy and too many ads. Pros? Fun game with really cute art. That's about it. Cons? Bugs and ads. There's an ad after almost every jump, and with each consecutive advertisement it seems the game plays worse. It gets less responsive, way jumpier. After 10-15 minutes of play, the game just crashes. This game would be improved if the ads were less intrusive. Perhaps instead of a full screen video ad after every jump, you could just do a banner ad on the top or bottom of the screen?

The game is mindless fun, and while that's fine it's still really held back by a ton of bugs. Ads still sometimes show even though I bought the ad free version, the game is supposed to give free coins while it's off but doesn't do it anymore, sometimes I want to use double coins mechanic but it doesn't want to work at all. I could go on about bugs.

I think this game is super cute, and pretty fun. The graphics are great, and unlike other games, I'm invested enough to see the next kaiju. I dont mind watching an ad for more points or an upgrade, random ads are a bit much in my opinion. My biggest issue with this is how it messes up my phone. My night filter and messenger go haywire after playing the game for a few minutes, especially after random ads, and my phone lags or completely freezes... Hoping to see this fixed soon!!

I really enjoy the different types of Kaiju and the art is quite appealing. Always enjoy games that have the option of ads instead of having to purchase in-game currency. That being said, the app takes a surprisingly long time to open, when screens change it'll just go completely black instead of an instant switch, sometimes the powers at the bottom disappear (but if you open the eggs or anything else it'll come right back), and it has been crashing a LOT. Beautiful game, bad coding?

Well... It's a simple, and fun little game... But its absolutely littered with ads. It gives you the option to watch an ad after every game to double your coins. That's fine. But i was happy to just take the coins from the round. But then they make you watch an ad anyways... So whats the point of having optional ads, when you just show ads anyways? Annoying. Each game lasts less than thirty seconds. So you'll be watching ads for longer than you played the game. Horribly obnoxious.

Cute game, would probably be worth playing it if you pay to remove ads ($2.99) but as is, it doesn't function as well as it should. After every round it asks if you want to watch an ad to gain an extra bonus, no? Well to bad now your watching an ad and you don't get the bonus. OK, fine, so I'll hit the button so I at least get the benefit of my time, nope, not a real button, I can click it all day and nothing happens. The animation works so the game is registering that I'm hitting the button.

The art style is great and it makes all the characters look cute as heck. In addition the gameplay was simple, easy, and fun. However, some parts of the game sucked. 1) The chest that you get after five runs with your kaiju is misleading because it requires you to watch an ad to even open it. 2) Sometimes when upgrading your Power, Speed, etc., the game makes you like their Facebook or watch yet another ad and the only way to get rid of it IS to do those options. Kaiju Calamity is cool though.

I'll begin by saying this is an enjoyable game to pass the time. It looks cute, the animations are fun and well-done, & the idea behind the plot is technically sound. The negatives increasingly outweigh these few positives, and I will be uninstalling. Following every other "launch," there is a pop-up, which requires the user to exit. Every 3rd pop-up is either a 5 second Ad, or a 30 second Ad- both of which must be clicked closed, they do not close on their own. Some Ads are uncloseable. 1.5/10

Very cute, but some bugs take away from it all. Conceptually it's basic but the look and feel of the game make it fun. However sometimes the game screen will freeze up as soon as I tap to launch my kaiju. I hear the sound effects of my. kaiju bouncing, but my screen is frozen and sometimes flashes. I have to close the app and restart it. Another major bug is randomly some words/numbers are covered in black boxes so I can't read values, coin cost, etc. Overall it's a good app but needs some work.

I really love this simplistic game, the Kaiju are cute and have neat designs. However don't waste your money for "ad free" if you download it. There are still a ton of ads and I don't really feel a difference. My $3 could have gone to something else that would have given me that sense of difference between "ad free" and not. Having less ads perhaps? Or maybe every other time? That would be dope! Anyway, I do love this game! I do give it 4 stars for this reason. (Maybe a misunderstanding?) (^_^)

Look, I really wanna give this game 5 stars, it certainly has the potential. However! It runs like a potato on my lg phoenix 2 (not too old a phone, not a very big game.. raises some questions.) Some transactions simply won't work. Sometimes you won't be able to upgrade a skill because it will offer to give you a free upgrade for watching an ad, and then stay that way even after you've already watched. If it ran smoothly and ads weren't causing the issues they are, it'd easily be a 5 star game.

Very good game and I love the concept, But I've ran into several problems. The game itself is extremely glitchy/laggy almost to the point where I can't stand it, the app closes itself after runs and after ads sometimes, there are way too many ads than there need to be, and sometimes when you're at the end of a run, the character gets stuck bouncing at the bottom of the screen endlessly and then you have to reopen the app if you want to play it again.

I can only play it for a few minutes before it causes my phone to run slowly and then completely freeze. I have given this game multiple chances because I love the gameplay, but no matter how often they update the game, they don't fix whatever bug freezes up my phone. I have seen people complain that it's the ads, but I play the game offline. If the developers ever do fix that bug, then I'll give the game 5 stars.

At first I played it like normal, which in of itself is nothing special, but the sheer overwhelming amount of bugs trouble me. The "watch an ad for a bonus" button doesn't work sometimes, I gain zero coins when I'm not in the app, the time it takes for eggs to hatch doesn't decrease when I'm not in the app, and sometimes the screen if filled with a "try our other game" ad that not only doesn't show the other game, it is impossible to close. This game looks like it works, but it really doesn't.

Cute and addictive when you can play the actual game. There are more ads in this game than when I first downloaded it. Play a round? Here is an ad. Bottom of screen, there's an ad. Complete a city? An ad asking you to play the game in premium, which costs more a month than a subscription to WoW. Decline an ad? Here, one will play automatically for 30 seconds before you can close is. Eventually just uninstalled.

I'm enjoying the game, I think the art and game mechanics are great. However, there are so many ads, I feel like there's a game interrupting my ad watch experience. Their subscription in-game for no ads and other goodies equates to $8 a week, and I dont think this is worth buying into for that much. It's a free game, so I understand the need for ads, but I think it can be dialed down a bit. It ruins the game experience.
