Kaiku

This app has worked fine for me. I like that I get notifications whenever money goes out since I can quickly react to any fraudulent charge (not that there's been any so far). I like the quick look feature which makes it quick to check the balance. Stopped giving notifications recently so reinstalled which fixed the problem.

Horrible service, slack jawed ghetto. My numbers were leaked and every cent was stolen by thieves 2200 miles away. Now I have to wait 45 to 90 days to get my money back. If I even get it back. I made a in store purchase at home depot and then 6 hours later a in store purchase 2200 miles away. Impossible to travel that fast. Avoid like plague. I got pictures of the suspects and the local authorities won't do a thing because I'm too far away. Good job NYPD.

I was super excited to start using this service until I realized that there is no mobile check deposit option. This is the main reason that I downloaded the app and ordered the card. This feature is offered as a selling point on the info page in the Play Store and on your website and without this feature, this card is useless for me. As a result, I've gone with a competitor. Fix the issue and I'll be happy to change my rating.

Wouldn't give me an option to deposit a check... Would be great.. I called and received a voicemail that was full when chatted with someone they sent me to ingo when talking to someone there she told me to hard boot which I did then tell me to change my device. It's a new phone.....

App won't load checks, and customer service calls have gotten me nowhere. Waiting for an email response, we'll see what happens next. About to cancel my account. Will update if issue is resolved.

This is the main function I need and the only reason I signed up with Kaiku. I need to be able to deposit checks. The load checks feature does not work for my galaxy s5 or my galaxy note 7. When you click on the load Check button it does a loading sign and then returns to the main menu. It does work on my galaxy s3 however.

I won't be giving this a 5 star till they add the photo feature and make peoples life much easier. And don't reply talking about please call customers service so we can help cause you ain't going to do nothing about it at all.

I've had problems with the mobile app several different times now. I go to load a check & the app logs me out when I hit the button to load a check & I have to log back in only to be logged out again when I try using the load check feature. Very dissatisfied with because of this issue.

As other users have mentioned, check loading doesn't work, calling Kiaku gets you nowhere, they give you an Ingo number that is busy 24/7. I tried on an old device with Android 4.4.2 and check loading worked, so it's an issue with nougat. C'mon Kaiku! How come I can diagnose this problem and you are hapless! Get it together!!!

I have a ZTE Sonata 3 and the app won't even open the Load Checks option. Whenever I try, it thinks for about 10 seconds then takes me to the Activity screen. One of the main reasons I got this card was to load my checks straight onto it, so this is very disappointing.

It used to work, but suddenly failed without being due to an update. Not loading checks, when I select that option, it returns to the activity screen.

This app has been unsuccessful in loading checks. Customer service unable to help. Please give another solution other than calling customer service line or the email address

Update: Now works flawless on my x 86 tablets as of February 22, 2016, It was that 40 percent of the population, including me - are all rooted so it would not run, I hate banking apps that do this! Now it works awesome with root, thanks for fixing this issue for so many folks! Saved the .apk in case this review get us boned! This is the most functional version ever released, keep it! These guys know what they are doing! So many people are rooted that you can't have apps check for it and not work under it or your review gets dragged in the mud! Again, great work, flawless now and a great service! One and ONLY gripe not to do with this superb app even is that the new cards are so cheap looking I feel like it's a welfare card! Can we get the old ones back or at least have the option, I would even pay for one with raised letters and thicker like a real man's credit/debit cards as in the ones prior to the new very cheap thin cards your sending out! Otherwise, best service around, super fair and patient never take money that is not there's or most importantly never hold up any of my funds on any transaction, love them, love them, love Kaiku!.....

Very disappointed in the app. The main reason I selected Kaiku was the feature of being able to load checks using the mobile app, and that feature doesn't work. I get a loading symbol for about 10 seconds then the app reverts back to the previous screen. Why offer a feature if it doesn't work... From the other reviews it seems to be a very common problem. I know, I know, email customer service for assistance... time to look for another service that has an app that actually works!

The thing I like about Kaiku is that it does not take pre- authorization charges from companies like Netflix out of your available balance. Gave it four stars because I can't use bill pay from this app.

This is the worst card I've ever (not) used. It's literally impossible to put any money onto it. Tried to use PayPal, it wouldn't go through. Tried to use the app, but the load check function is just a loading screen and doesn't work. Even tried MoneyGram but that just ended up with me on hold for a good 30 minutes before hanging up. How am I supposed to use the card when I can't load it??

App not working. Please fix. Will not allow you to add money from checks. Trys to load check captuter part of app but never switches to it.

I like the app but I can't load a check I press on the option but all it does is have a loading sign. Had to use my iPhone to actually load a check with the app.

Haven't used it that long. Check deposit seems to be working. Didn't have a check to deposit but the screen came up to let me take a picture

You guys have not updated this in a while. The Ingo check portion does not even load anymore. Fix your guys app! Sadly this is a major feature for me and if I can not have it I will have to change providers.

This is a OK app and a OK card bit dissapointed by the card quality but will work although it is not the cheapest but the cheapest among the ones that allow PayPal transfer in which I like. Other than that good app but add FINGER PRINT login please and it has a nice fees option but the only complaint from me is the card quality. And the fact that I can't find any other prepaid cards that are 1-2 dollar monthly and allow PayPal transfer I chose this card if you want it go for it. Card is really really poor.

This card is crap... the card gets compromised and decline transactions while also taking the money out of the account.

Horrible, horrible, account was put on hold even though I know money is on the card, so I call and change remember my security questions answer, so no help there at all, and they keep telling go online and reset security questions answer but I can't bcs my account is on hold, so how the hell I'm I suppose to do get anything fixed so I can get to my money.

The app will not open the check deposit system. I have already uninstalled the app and reinstalled, but the issue persists.

The app has worked well for me; no problems loading checks. I do appreciate the notifications anytime there's a transaction with my account.

I am a brand new customer and chose it because it was supposed to b easy to load cks. When I downloaded the app it does not give me an option to do this. I am trying to deposit a personal ck into this account so I can close the other account.

Load checks doesn't work. Everything else is alright. I'll change my rating when fixed
