This app keeps us informed of our weather conditions. We know beforehand of anything dangerous close to us. When it comes to tornadoes, every second counts!

Love this app. A few too many notifications in a day. That is the four star instead of the five. Lots of information when you need it! I check it anywhere any time in storms. The radar is close to the minute, lags a bit but its almost impossible to get it on the minute. Great job guys!

I used to like this app, but lately I get no alerts for bad weather. I had no idea there was a tornado warning near my house because I never got an alert. I deleted and reinstall the app but still have the same issue. Today when it was storming my phone never went off, but my co workers IPhone did. Is it an android issue??

I use this app daily, but I hate the fact that there are ads during tornado warning coverage. Also, some of the alert settings are confusing.

Works BETTER than many paid weather apps available. I live in Central Texas, which is very far from KAIT Region 8, yet it still gives me VERY accurate weather updates. I knew of this app because I grew up in Southeast Missouri, which is a part of Region 8. 5 Stars.

App is pretty predictable with weather forcasts, however as this channel covers a very large area, it would be nice when sending out tornado warnings if the town or county is mentioned where one was seen. Just " a tornado warning is in your area, please seek shelter immediately."

Enough! I've used this for only one week and it's getting uninstalled. If you tap on a weather announcement, this takes you to a video that begins with a super loud autoplaying ad blasting your phone with no way to pause or quickly mute. This is VERY rude. Why do we have to endure ads during the startup, ads in between every single article and then I get to watch a commercial before playing the video too? WAY TOO MUCH! This needs an ad-free option so it's usable. ZERO stars.

I love the rapid response that yall have, and also the accuracy of the weather . You guys go above and beyond to bring us the fastest severe weather alerts and keep us informed, thank yall for everything you do.

Doesn't seem to alert for severe weather even those all my settings are on for them. Not consistent with alerting when needed.

The app is often inaccurate especially during severe weather. The night of the tornados not 1 warning was posted.

My control for map of weather, past-present-future, stopped working. Its frozen on NOW. Unable to fix!

Good app. I wish barometric pressure would be included on the home screen with temp, etc.

Great for news, the only problem is is that when watching live, my phone (moto g6) can't go into landscape mode to watch the video, instead it stays in portrait even when I have auto rotate on. So it's your app. Please fix, I would like to see the live video in landscape mode. Also ur landscape button doesn't work when I click on it.

I live in cross county and keep up with the weather on app and severe weather with on line. I know many people who do the same. Our weather does not keep up on the TV. We are sorta left out on the local weather map with reporting stations in Forrest City an Harrisburg! We shop in Jonesboro. Never in Memphis or Little Rock anymore. Too dangerous.

Easy to use local weather app

I run east and west cost and nourth and south region 8 weather is i use it give me the weather on a day to day basic

Best weather app by far and for region 8 live storm and weather coverage. The regular weather app is very thorough. I like having a local weather app 👍😎👍 However I must say the background is terribly depressing, dull, drab looking; Yuck! Has not changed in "years" either. Also the full-screen adds you must wait on to see the weather when you really need it, is frustrating. Please fix those two things and it would be a five 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 only these two things make me have to take away two stars

The App is compact while giving you the quick info you want. Projected temp, chance of rain, heat index. Sure, radar takes a few seconds to load but look at all the info it loads: St Louis to Little Rock, east to west across the broadcast range and more. Definitely 5 stars. I thank them for a tradition of excellence.

Why is there not an ad free version of either Kait8 apps?! The 4.4 rating is not accurate, almost every 4 and 5 star mention the ads are a problem. I wish a could give a 4 or 5 rating but the ads slow the page to a frustrating level. Then when I do get to what I want to see the ads are on my way.

This used to be a good app. Now, it freezes, long load times, sound on videos rarely works, home page goes blank and freezes, takes forever to load radar images. But, better believe those advertisements work like a champ!

Outstanding app. It has literally saved my bacon several times while on a tractor out in the fields without any communications except my cell phone. I use the app at least a dozen times a day. More often during severe weather.

Efficient but lately it's been all over the place with changing weather from one extreme to the next in a few minutes time. And the radar isn't accurate past an hour it changes considerably past and Hour. Some bugs in this app needs working out. But it does get the videos and alerts out as well as give a outlook for a hour at least.

Great app! But lately it's been having some problems, it takes forever to open and when it does it either freezes or shows a black screen. Just thought you should know. EDIT: it doesn't happen all the time, sometimes it will work fine.

Installed this app. And never could get the radar to work. It was always 2 hours behind on the time and it would never show any type of weather. I Installed and Uninstaller it several times but it still didn't work.

Love the KAIT8 app easy to navigate and love the alerts I can choose to alarm me of potential weather
