KAKE News

I got this app for the weather radar, which is great. I like the news too, except for one big thing. When I get a notification for a news story and click it, I simply go to the home page of the app with NO way to find the story I wanted to read. It's frustrating. I've turned off notifications, but I'd really like to keep them on and keep up with news. I'm no developer, so maybe I don't understand the difficulty, but it would be great for the notification to link straight to the story it's about.

I like the app, but the absolutely OBNOXIOUS flashing ads bar at the bottom for some slot game is distracting and just rude. I close the app and restart to hopefully get a less annoying ad. If the flashing ad appears twice, I move on to another news app. Thinking of deleting the app. Also, the Home Page and Top Stories Page are identical and redundant.

The only worthwhile part is the weather. Notifications of news stories rarely take you the the story, and even in app, clicking on stories frequently takes you to unrelated articles. I don't know when it changed but it used to work well. Pretty much all I use it for now is weather, and using the notifications to search on Google

This deserves 5 stars for being informative, but anything happening in or near Wichita seems foreign to me because I live about 160 miles from Wichita, and have never been there. I live in a Kansas county that borders with Missouri, and is only about 60 miles from KC, MO. That is where our local TV news comes from, and none of it mentions Wichita. It is difficult to find apps of Kansas news that can be read, and not of videos, plus many news apps are not compatible with my android.

This had been my one and only app for local news and weather. But since the changes to the weather portion I have been thinking about deleting. Bring back the old radar and weather!

I watch kake News faithfully every day because I can depend on a accurate report on news and weather for all over the state of Ks. I have both News and Weather Apps. on my phone so that I can look to see what's happening here in our area in Arkansas City KS. I especially like Jay Prater for All my weather new's, plus all of the other kake new's cast reporter's, thank you Kake News on your side.

The app is wonderful. I've always watched and listened to Kake! The only thing I wish was different was that when you click on a notification it would take you straight to the story.

This app was my favorite. However, the upgrades on the weather map kick me out; the old version was so much better. This is a shame because KAKE was my go to weather app.

I would always recieve notifications of something new happening then after clicking on it it would direct me to the dashboard page of the site instead of the actual story I'm clicking on

I really like the app but lately every time I click on weather it kicks me out. Once the weather portion works I'll be using it again.

Hearing impaired people would like the option to read NEWS. Video is not an option for everyone.

I really love this channel its the best app ever i use it everyday and night i love staying updated on everything that goes on 24/7 i love this app very much

Recently the Weather option of the Kake News app doesn't open. Could gave happened with the April 20 update?? I have a Galaxy S20 phone. Please fix!!

3.6 rating? then i go to read the reviews. ALL critical are erased. Was my favorite channel for decades but that has me very confused.

I have found that the app is not up to date on the latest news.
