This puzzle game expounds upon number games like Sudoku and word games like crossword puzzles. It brings you the ultimate mathematic hybrid that is different from all other games on the market.
With number combinations that make up each clue you can use logic to find the single solution! There are over 14000 games of different sizes including 5 x 5 and 15 x 15. You can earn more points by playing bigger games. Each puzzle guarantees only one correct answer so you will know it when you find it.
This free app will help you along the way as you first learn to play. It will offer encouragement and a multitude of options for increasing your scores such as saving your current score or playing a larger board. As you play each high score gives you a victory text within the game allowing you to save your progress or delete it and challenge yourself again! By playing more boards you can get more points.
While playing larger boards you can zoom in and out for better viewing. You can even leave notes for yourself while you are playing the game.
If you are particularly challenged you can ask for a hint which will be displayed in the first cell and can help you solve the puzzle faster by pointing you in the right direction. The clue will turn colors to help you as well! Red is for an incorrect answer and green is for a correct answer.

Love the game, but the menu button (to start a board over, for instance) isn't accessible in Android 10. Fix that and it's great again.

This is a stellar app with only one flaw: the scoring isn't explained at all. I'd feel a lot better about my score if I knew how it was calculated. Whether or not that is changed, a time would add a lot of replay value. This doesn't mean that the time it took to finish should go to score loop, just that I should be able to see improvement and predict scores.
The Score button on the Menu does not work. The score function is not explained, your scores are meaningless. There is no way to contact the makers of this game so this glitch can be fixed. The tutorial shows a Submit Score button when the puzzle is completed. I DO NOT HAVE THAT BUTTON. PERIOD I paid for the premium version. I'm very frustrated with this.
Edited to remove incorrect report of a problem. Interesting and fun game. One thing that would be nice would be to have the annotations be in the order they are written, not numerical order. For example, if two squares must add to four, I would like to annotate them as (1,3) and (3,1) rather than both the same. That way it makes it easier to quickly see what choices go together (more so when there are more squares or more choices per square).
I played this on my old dusty Kindle fire while my phone was down. When my phone was working again I was happy to see it on the Play Store in both free and paid versions so I paid for it to help the developer and to avoid ads. I find the music very pleasing and relaxing. Thank you YRG, I look forward to exploring your other apps and especially to many hours of fun kakuros, my favorite puzzle for many years. Update:. The app is eats the battery and uploads to a nonexistant leaderboard.
Like this game. But 'hard' is too easy to play because of many 'easy' numbers (16,17 etc). Would like greater fields, harder puzzles. Although game have pretty high energy consumption(works only 4-5 hours on nexus 7). Although I do not understand why there is highscores with fixed scores - 860-864. There is no challenge.
A strong Kakuro app with good variety of puzzle sizes. Pleasant appearance and music. Only knock against it is that the squares are so small (with larger puzzles) that mis-keys are almost inevitable, and the app will criticize your mistakes as if you were guessing.
Not overly challenging. Would like bigger, more difficult puzzles. This one has a lot of "given" answers. Scoring seems arbitrary and seems to have no purpose. Program is easy to use, has never crashed on me, and is great for beginner to intermediate levels. Good for a quick mental workout.
I really appreciate having this game available as it' better than most kakuro books, which are hard to find anyway. Enjoy having the option of a quick 8x8 or a longer 15x15, depending upon how much time I have to waste.
They told me I couldn't solve crossword puzzles when I was small. I still can't so that's why I play kakuro.
I love kakuro. The puzzles are great and the music is very soothing to go with it. A relaxing and enjoyable app.
Game itself is good, but because it crashes and freezes so much it is basically unplayable. My device is Samsung Galaxy A5 2016
I paid twice for this game. 2 stars because I like this game. It's unacceptable to charge people multiple times.

They need to have an update so that the puzzles change. I keep solving the same 5 puzzles.
I now have found a version that works properly, that has a good design, and that has large boards. I've been looking for months and one finally arrived.
Great game of logic. I've been playing these puzzles since long before cell phones existed. It's nice to be able to play one whenever I want.
Good and playable, but scoring system daft and illogical. Now get lots of error messages after each game. Looks like the owners of this game are not doing updates. No-one is in control any more. Shame, as improvements are needed.
I love Japanese puzzles I'd b extremely happy if u could add more puzzle games from the suduko family I'd b happy to buy them all :-)
It's my go-to game when I have just a few minutes to kill. Love it.
I always play a small puzzle to help wake me up in the morning and get the brain working.
I have been playing this game for five years and never get tired of it. It's very challenging and can be quite tricky at times. If you like a challenge, this game is for you. You can start at a novice level move up with experience. I am not connected with other players. Have fun!
