This is the first time I have given a low playstore rating as I really hope that the programmers will improve and add many more songs, but make sure that they really sound like the songs. It would be good to learn the Kalimba scale, too. Row, row, row your boat works. My Bonnie a bit London Bridge sounds mostly unrecognizable. Ode doesn't seem to work at all. I wish the programmers well, but this really needs a software rework.
In terms of customization this is the best kalimba app I've found so far. Others usually either had a fixed number of tines and/or no option to change the tuning. With this app, none of this is a problem anymore. One thing I would absolutely LOVE to be added in a future version: please, please, please introduce a button to make the notes visible on the tines, so the user knows what note they represent. For an absolute beginner like me, it would be a huge help.
The idea of this app is great but kalimba sound not good. Sound so stiff. Will buy if u can improve on the sound. Will look forward to improvements.
The issue is only 11 notes had this been a 17 key kalimba I would have paid up to 5 bucks on it. I'm used to the 17 note one what a bummer
Has a Guitar-Hero like function for those of us who can't seriously play, awesome customization for those who can :)
Works great. Would like to see it up to a 13 key though. But still amazing app with no lag whatsoever
Enjoyed the play along feature and although sound is not perfect it is much better than the others available.
I was trying to tune my kalimba and you can't even tune anything!
Better 'Kalimba' app compared to others out there. Thanks for having a lite version of this apploudable. 😊
Soung could be much better, appart of that app is good.
Thanks for a great app.
Not sure why this uses a toy xylophone tone instead of a kalimba sound. The interface is about what I expected, but the sound just leaves it flat.
Love it. Gonna upgrade when I install a ROM. Found it really good for my 6 month old daughter who likes the visual sound and vibration aspects that all combine here. Also tho as others have said it is a real instrument, works very well with very low latency - unnoticeable.
After every option it asks you to buy the full version
I was about to buy a real mbira kalimba and then I found this gem hahah can't beat that
Even for a lite version, its still enjoyable to play.
Work few free options as well
Got worse after update, uninstalling
Constant force close I'll try it again tomorrow but I'll probably uninstall within the week.
I wish I cud record my composition in free version
Good layout but bad sound, sounds NOTHING like a real kalimba 1/10 would NOT play again.
Lite was too lite, you should give people a few songs they can play, not limit it to 30 seconds. Also i found the ui slow, even on my galaxy nexus. Background music was blah too, turned that off right away lol
I couldn't really tell who they left after I wrote the song but there were so many mixed emotions I can't tell. Either. One or the other well bind in time.
This is one of the coolest apps ive downloaded..ive always been intrigued by this instrument..now i have one of my own
really a work of art in applications
Not the best kailimba!
I have never heard such low latency in Android music app. This is the first app ever where I can actually play something in real time. To the dev: how did you achieve that?
