Kalimba Pro

The Kalimba, also called Karimba, Thumb Piano, Lamellophone, Mbira, Sanza, among others, is a musical instrument from southern Africa. The keys are plucked with thumb or fingers, and the vibrations are amplified by a hollow box resonator or sounding board.
With the Kalimba Android app you can experience this popular African percussion instrument for yourself. You can configure it like any kalimba you like with up to eleven keys. Set the tuning of the keys to any scale your favourite song requires. Unlike a real kalimba, these can be saved and restored whenever you like. It also supports Midi over WiFi using DSMI for Windows, Mac and Linux.

You cant realy work it as real one. I Guess it would be hard to set it up as one. There no finger hole in the back of the phone. Tried to whawha the speaker but its no good. Settings would need to be automatic or added slide bar but that might be hard as your holdind and thumbing the keys. I don't know but the Devs can figure it out im sure. Needs more sustain too,maybe. I don't play pro I just have one in my real collection of musical instruments.

Very nice & useable. Just needs song export ability. Play along mode is totally naf though. Could do with losing that :-(

Cool concept and configurability for tunings and midi options! Sadly, latency is always a hardware issue with android audio apps, not dev's fault tho.
