You can find campgrounds by browsing a map or you can search for campgrounds by name, park, or forest name. Going to Yosemite National Park this summer? Search for “Yosemite”. What about Okanogan National Forest? Search for “Okanogan”. Also included are more than 30,000 town names for when you want to plan a trip. Are you going to pass through Eugene, Oregon any time soon? Search for “Eugene” to find campgrounds nearby.
When you find a perfect camping spot, you can save it as a favorite or add it to a list. You can build lists of camping spots: Bucket lists, To-Do lists, road trip lists
- whatever you want to call it.

I am so excited to have this app. There is nothing worse than having to go back and forth between the websites of all different kinds of public campgrounds. This app solves that! Everything is in one place. I think it was brilliant to use Google interface and Google internet searches because those always have the most up to date info. This is the best three bucks I've spent this year!
This app should be used in a computer science course on "How to Make a Really Wonderful App Completely Unuseable.". I've recommended it dozens of times, but now, rather than create a filter to let campers choose between "Reservable Sites" and "Non-Reservable Sites," Kampnik shoves a linked Website into our faces from Recreation.gov that constantly says "Oops, something went wrong! Please bear with us. " when I click on a campsite for viewing. I've seen more "bears" in this app than camping.
Road trip to Chicago from LA with my Camp-Inn teardrop trailer. 6wks + 7000mi & found plenty of "off the beaten path" places to park my a##. A most wonderful app, indispensable for a person who likes to get off the grid. A+++++++! No ads, no commercial KOA/private "rv resorts". PERFECT!!!
We've been using Kampnik for the past month in BC Canada and the Pacific Northwest. So far it's been great for finding and reserving campsites in state and national parks.
website says camping spots for under $15 every site I looked at says $35 to $40 you can find camping sites like that on Google without paying for an app. 😡😡😡

Kampnik is by far the best campsite locating app out there. I was pretty worried when it stopped working (Google play issue, not app) but Bill from Keezo helped me diagnose and repair the issues I was having in a very professional and thorough manner. 5 stars for the app and 5 stars for the company support fof a full 10/10. Not so many private campgrounds on this site. I have camped in four states in the past month and only two are listed. Tried to suggest a few and app won't allow me to send . Also tab for send feedback won't send( could be a Google phone issue?) Disappointed I spent money on this app. Will go back to Google search...
Amazing for finding campgrounds along with all the information you might need about them including photos, phone numbers, reviews, weather, and more. Has been extremely helpful while traveling. I recommend it to everyone, it's a steal.
I just downloaded this app and it has already helped me find a ton of campgrounds I never new existed. Also easy user interface. I am a former programmer, I can appreciate the work involved in creating this application. Thumbs up to the development team
I was at first disappointed that the maps feature would not work without wifi connection. When I enquired I was informed that if I downloaded the google maps are of interest for access offline the app would show the maps offline. Was very pleased.
A pretty good collection of campgrounds. Used it all the time during my recent road trip.

It doesn't even give you the prices of the campgrounds, that's pretty important in my opinion. It's pointless to download if you'll be off the grid and won't have phone reception

I prefer public campgrounds to private ones. This app is very through in listing City, County, State and Federal Campgrounds. After selecting a particular campground it has info and links to the site.
Used the related web database for years, but an app is much more convenient when on the go. Totally worth the price. Thanks.
Just got started on this app. At first, to test its mettle, I tried looking up camps I've been to (mostly remote undeveloped camps that I prefer) and so far its mixed results. I don't see any way to submit a newly "discovered" camp via this app, nor any instructions on how to do so. Also, some camps don't have much info or photos, and there's no way to load those up either for a visual. So far, a mediocre app. I'll be looking around for another option.
