Really cool software, definitely the best one I've tried. I only have two issues with this: 1) I can't figure out how to turn off the application while WiFi is on. I really liked xabber's behavior that when the messenger is not in the running app list (you know, the one on the left hw button), all accounts are offline. 2) It'd be nice to have an option to completely ignore messages outside contact list. I'm getting way too much russian spam.
Works good but can't send any attachments. Says: delivery failed service is unavailable. But I can send messages just fine and receive. Is this a bug?
Nice but need improvement.please change contact tab(in first screen after lunching app) to account tab, like whatsapp.now usage is complicated.
works like a charm. First i had to enable advanced connection settings in Expert Options.
Updated review: now locked to a specific server. Good, thanks. Old review: Why make a for-free version of Conversations? Yes you can do it, it's legal but will make it impossible for the author of Conversations to keep working on improving the client and xmpp in general. What do YOU bring to the table as an improvement? This is really low, YOU should be ashamed of yourself. What would be okey is if you'd lock this Conversations fork to your own xmpp service, see config.java on how to do that.
For now 5, just installed it and it's same as Conversations messenger, only difference is free way of distribution. Can you guys also provide source code?
An old fork of Conversations. Code hasn't been updated for quite some time and it's not entirely clear why this project forked at all, just made 'some' changes...
Brilliant, all is working, maybe gui theming could be more flexible....
Love this app, no problem at all
