The concept sounds amazing, however the app crashes on my Google Pixel 3XL every time I try to add a pick up location, so it's useless. I've deleted the app and reinstalled it and I'm still having the issue. Bummer.
My experience has been great so far. I have been using Kango for 2 years now. I have used Zum and HopSkipDrive in the past prior to Kango, but I had best experience with Kango in terms of availability of drivers and flexibility on short notice. They also share updates continuously so you are aware of what is going on. Thanks Kango!
We have used this for a week. The driver is great. The app is not. No help. No way to call kango, no real phone number for the driver. Regular driver cancelled & we were charged. I really just care about there not being ANY backup safety phone # or chat to kango. kango number online, it went to voicemail but hung up. What if there were an miscommunication which happens or a potential emergency that isnt 911 worthy? I tried to log in using myhusbands email but the app sees it as a new person
Kango, hands down deserves more than 5 stars! Each person affiliated with this app is extremely responsive! It is priceless having the peace of mind knowing that my kid is safe and will get from A to B effortlessly! Kango has alleviated so much stress from me. Parents have so much to worry about already, and knowing that I have one less major issue off my plate is wonderful. The partnership that is created from the minute you sign up is excellent. Absolutely reccomend!!!
The team at kango have been nothing but excellent. The amount of support and caring is some of the best I have experienced from a company.

I am already a registered driver....but cannot open the Kango appp...nor open the "feed " site !!! Help please!!!

We tried around 5 times. All sitters and drivers is nice so far.
I signed up to get a ride for my son, the app took hours searching for a driver which i could not wait son i cancelled the search and deleted the app, the next day i get a text message stating the driver is at my sons school, like really? Never received confirmation of the ride, no email no nothing.... Today i get a email stating i will be charged $33.00 to compensate for the drivers time? Um its kango's fault for not confirming with me and semding me any type of communication/ disputing my CC
Seems like a very neat idea! I can't wait till the service is expanded here in Colorado!
They cancled my kids ride to school 3 times in a row at the last min. I had to leave work and rush home to drop them off!!! Drivers aren't consistent...
Kango is really helpful and very safe for my kid.

This is a great service for busy parents. The price is just like uber, but I felt safe entrusting a little. One to a complete stranger because of the driver screening process. This really has been a last minute rescue for the times my husband and I were not Able To make schedules work. With no family in the area, kango saved us! Helps to be in a metropolitan area where there are plenty of drivers/sitters available on a short notice.
Really pleased with the service and with the price. My kids liked it. Only con was how long (a week) it took to book a driver.

Trying to invite from Contacts and sharing a carpool with others don't work. Will try app again some other time.
First, the app got stuck trying to sifmgn me up using Facebook. Force quit the app, since tapping "back" did nothing, and pressing the home button didn't, either. Signed up manually, joinedca group, then went to update my public profile. There is no "Me" to tap on the top right (Android), and nothing else leads to me being able to access what everyone else can see of me. In the process of going through each item available, in hopes of figuring my profile out, it kept getting stuck thinking.
Filled out all of my information only to find out the app doesnt allow users in my area to book a driver but rather arrange a carpool with people in my contacts/groups that have ZERO people in them to begin with. Why not just ask for a zipcode prior to the signup portion or state what areas have access to specified app features. I'm looking for a ride not to become a dispatcher of sorts. Geesh!
