I love it. Well put together, great idea and terrific execution. The one problem is it keeps freezing and I need to force it to close every 3-5 games. That is the one and only issue with it. Edit: sent a message to the developers and got a quick response! Turns out, a quick fix to this is to limit the number of words you are using or to change to Kanji instead of hiragana.
I gave this app 5 stars before, but since my latest android update all I see are empty glyphs.. so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and now not only do the glyphs not work, but the app also wants to recharge me for the pro version.
Dear developer, I already buy this app on last year when I use Samsung Grand 2. Unfortunately, my 3 years Samsung Grand 2 have reached its limit, and can't be use anymore. Now, I use Redmi Note 5A Prime. But the problem is all kanji is shown as boxes. Does my new phone do not support this apps? Could you help me out? I Really need to study and hone my Japanese kanji skills.
I'm having a ton of fun practicing using this game. Highly recommend it for anyone learning Japanese. Only criticisms are the long pauses after connecting a word together and after each stage. An option to edit how long the pause is would be amazing. Other than that, great app!
Love this game -- learning the different combinations of kanji really helps to show off the full meaning of individual kanji more than just writing down definitions. I used to play this every time I had 5 or 10 minutes for a quick game, and happily purchased the locked levels. Unfortunately, ever since I had to get a new Samsung phone I haven't been able to play -- all the characters show up as blank squares. :/ I've tried re-installing and I have the language pack on my phone, but no dice. Hopefully there's a fix at some point because I miss Kanji Connect.
Slight issues with readings (different readings in text vs audio) but a fun way to practice! One of the few study methods that make kanji actually stick for me. Glad to see kana is showing up properly on Android 5 now! Fewer glitches audio, too. Thanks for continuing to support the app with development and bug fixes!
Very fun useful tool! my only frustration was not being able to locate the exit button when i was done. However i enjoyed this app, will download again once i have more freed up memory. Tyvm.
UI is bloated on Huawei Mate 9, characters do not appear at all on Samsung Tab S2, UI controls are not suitable for big screens either. Will update review when fixes are confirmed.
Unfortunately all I get is little boxes instead of kanji. I am trying to run this on a fully up to date Nvidia Shield tablet.
On my galaxy tab a I see no kanji at all. Only empty rectangles!
Hey, I paid for the extra word sets and when I reopened the app they disappeared! Not cool...
Doesn't show any characters on my Nexus tablet (custom ROM) and says my stock Moto X Style isn't supported. All my other 20+ japanese study apps work on both my devices, wonder what differs.

Intriguing at first but after few weeks it becomes unfruitful and unuseful, should have more updates and correction, even the graphic is lacking of accurate consideration by the creators

I have some basic kanji and this is a great refresher! Like the hints, the hiragana usage, and the simple puzzle layout.

It's one of the few apps that helps me learn Japanese I'm such a fun way. Although it could need some polish, it's better than what I expected. Something that needs to be done immediately is an exit button. It's bothersome to have to kill the app in order to exit it.
I really love this app.As a kinestetic learner, it makes learning Japanese Kanji really fun and addictive.I love how it cannot only be a source for learning Kanji, but for learning Kanji combinations as well. And getting all the Kanji is inexpensive too!Although, there's nothing more to it. There's nothing pushing you to learn more Kanji, and there's nothing else to help people better learn. Don't get me wrong. It's still great though, even if it's a tad bare bones.I guess, If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
MotoG 1st Ed. I know I need a new phone but the games runs slowly in general and often hangs. Perhaps a speed option in the future would be nice.

I was pleasantly surprised by this app. I am using it to review kanji that I already know and it is a really great tool for resuscitating old kanji. I do with the game moved faster and the grids were bigger. I think this would be perfect if the grid was 10 x 10 for kanji.
I think it just needs more content though. Also the UI is a little awkward to use.
