I don't know how advanced it gets. But for remedial kanji and perhaps to intermediate level this is wonderful. It keeps you challenged and moving forward. It also keeps your interest. I hope it gets to a level where I'd be able to read newspapers.
There are a few bugs which can make it annoying (buttons don't press easily) and the part "middle and center" needs adjustment because 2 out of the 8 words are both "centre". But some of the comments from the characters made me lol! Overall a great app but needs a little work. Hope I can retain the info long term.
I think with a complete facelift and a few new features, this app could easily be better than most kanji learning apps. The graphics are horrible and the writing could use some editing/honing, but the gameplay is fun.
This is an excellent Kanji learning tool! One of the best out there. Cute characters and dialogue. Gameplay is simple, straightforward, and you are sure to learn a great deal! It has a nice pace and enough Kanji to keep you learning from beginner all the way to intermediate! I highly recommend this app. It's not like it's mind-blowingly awesome, but it's just great enough that I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to learn Kanji. If I could change anything about it I would add items and side quests and daily goals to increase motivation, interest, and enjoyment. Love that you learn not not only recognize Kanji but also pronounce and translate them. Great job overall. Few Japanese learning games out there at the moment can compete with this. 頑張ってください!
Four controls at a time would be easier at beginner level, eight is too many. More time would also be helpful, or a time setting option for us slower players.
Fun way to learn Kanji, but it would be more efficient if the sequence of the kanji were rearranged after every round.
the graphica may look bad but this game overall is pretty fun lol. i was super skeptical about trying this out. but i ended up liking it so much to give it a review and i NEVER review games LOOOOL
A brilliant way to learn Kanji. Does not really include in-depth information about how the kanji is formed, however it is still very fun to use to be able to brush up on your kanji. Quite addictive too
I was looking for a way to learn kanji and keep a good memory of it. This is pretty neat how it's a fun way to engage in a game and learn kanji at the same time. As time passes you have memorize the kanji and learning to read it as well. Great system they have here.
Keeping this short so I can go right back to saving princesses with my kanji knowledge. Seriously this is fun.
Easy to jump into - enjoying it so far. Would only suggest that it would be more useful to refer to the kanji (memory tips) rather than spend so much time on the guide characters between levels.
this app is really great, learn kanji use this apps makes me faster to remember kanji and didn't feel bored
This is the best method I've found for memorizing kanji. Just make sure you also practice writing the kanji.
I really like that game! It encourages you to learn kanji, and moreover, it is really helpful for remembering the symbols. At the same time when you decide what kanji is appropriate according to the meaning, you hear it so yeah, it's really great! I definitely recommend it!
So far so good having a decent enough time and finally learned the composition of 7 wew.
Really cool and is a really good teaching tool/game for Kanji. Awesome job! 😊
Awsome. Just love it. Great idea to practice kanji. Thanks a lot for sharing it
Great for getting familiar with basic kanji :) No problems so far
Totally awesome! I've learned so much in such a short time!
Interesting way of trying to cram kanji into my brainmeats.
Easy to dive into. Good use of audio.
I love this. I want to learn more kanji.
It is one of the best games to learn Kanji
Nice game to learn kanji in a simple way
Thankyou. Its Simply Splendid.
So far its okay.
It's great for practice with kanji. A game to pass the time and learn more at the same time. The kanji have audio with them too. The only thing that was hard sometimes is clicking things with my fingers. It doesn't seem to work all the time but using a stylus makes it better.
