Kanji Quiz

I would give this 5 stars, because it is an amazing tool to study kanji quickly, but it needs to include japanese reading of the kanji and the creater seriously needs to double check some of their definitions. They should try to choose the most common usage rather than some random meaning that might be one definition but is never actually used. For example 旬 does not mean Decameron, it means seasonal. Decameron IS a definition of this kanji but only in the highly specialized sense that no one will EVER need

This is a perfect companion to the books. The only thing missing is a writing test for the kana, but there are other apps for that.. Note also that the scoring for the kanji writing tests is on the honor system. There's no auto-recog. [For those commenting on the choice of meanings associated with the kanji, understand that they come from Heisig's mnemonics-based study system, and do not necessarily reflect common use.]

Just good. The difficulty levels are very reasonable and good. I definetly recommend it if you know kana.

Good idea but the quizzes don't fully fit on my screen. Uninstalling.

Perfect to review what I learned in rtk. Now I don't have to carry a deck of cards around. Thank you, very useful app.

App loads, tries to download and gets.a php error. I can not start. I'm on a samsung captivate. Please fix

Can only see first three options in quiz.

The multiple choice font is so huge I can't even see the third option....and I hate having to choose the wrong answer intentionally just to move onto the next question

The music is nice and calming and it's really fun, if you don't have this app I highly recommend you get it! Also thanks to the creator for making such an awesome free app!

Its easy to use, and help remembering.. but to read kanji need other effort to remember onyomi dll. Btw thx! Its works

I have no time to take in the different kanji. I would like to me myself choose when to move on to next one..

Remembering the Kanji is probably one of the most innovative and effective methods for remembering kanji. This app does a great job retaining the information found in the book, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anybody who's diving into the book. The multiple choice answers are a great way for doing tests, but it gets even better with the handwritten kanji tests. It does need an update to support the 6th edition of the book, but it's still my chosen method of practice.

Cannot download files. I don't know why. Please fix it, or at least, is there a way for me to download the files manually?

I really love this app. It's fantastic. Hope you're still working on this app as I would really love to see support for the 6th edition of RTK. If it had this feature I'd even be willing to pay more than your current gold version price.

I can't even see all the multiple choice options, also answer disappears. Little too quickly, this would be 5 stars for me if font wasnt so huge!

Deserves a 5.. but as I was using this app intensively.... can you imagine how upset I am now that it crashes all the time trying to download some stuff... please, I beg you... fix it..

Force closes and freezes... other than that, sometimes I can take the lankiest quizzes!

And the words at some readings are too small....please fix.

Samsung note 3, can't even see all the possible answers and the quizzes are all multiple choice so not really working at least on this build/version of android!
