No longer connecting to the kansas city star.
Some "channels" won't let you read an article saying you were viewing it on a "private browser". Additionally they have ads by the current presidential administration. For me if I am reading any news source or using any newspaper app, I want it to remain as unbiased as possible. This includes ads.
Use to be free now all they want is money for the news I downloaded this app because I no longer live in KC so sad

I've tried these for several cities now and I'm impressed. Saves me from searching for news sources in unfamiliar cities and I find I'm using one for the home area to.
Great app. Way too frequent ads and they can't be skipped for full minutes.
