The individual performing the exercise will need to be in a seated position.

chair but keep in mind to keep the body firm and spine straight.
Take in a deep breath and exhale quickly and suddenly, making a puffing sound while you do it.
The Technique of Kapalabhati involves short and strong forceful exhalations and inhalation happens automatically.
Focus on exhaling forcefully and not on the inhalation.
When you exhale, draw your abdominal muscles inward simultaneously.
Your abdomen should rise when you inhale and fold when you exhale. Speed of exhalation and inhalation can be increased by pressing + or - buttons.

This is an app which is very simple and easy to use. There is no clutter and has only the options that are useful. I am an old person and not very good with computers and phones. But once my daughter downloaded the app, I saw the video and started using it. Make sure you go to the settings and change them based on your level.

I would highly recommend this app. I was browsing casually through Google Play to see if any app would intrigue me and accomplish my goal to do yoga. I then came across this app and gave it a try. This app cleared my mind and helped me relax. It's well made and fulfills all my needs and wants, like helping me synchronize my breathing. The Kapalbhati app gives me a better experience than any of the Yoga classes I've taken for breathing. Give this app a try, and I can assure you that you won't have to take another class for Kapalbhati.

Very simple and effective. I went to Yoga classes and did Kapalbhati with the help of an instructor. This app replaces the instructor. It not only helps you to do the exercise but also keeps track of the time elapsed. The app gives both audio and visual feedback. Audio feedback is very helpful as I like to do the exercise with my eyes closed. As an added benefit, it keeps track of the history.

Love it. Great app to help me do Kapalbhati. I have been looking for an app like this and could not find one. Very simple to use. It helps me synchronize my breathing with visual and audio inputs, just like in Yoga class. It is for all level of yoga practitioners from beginners to advanced. One can increase the duration and speed of breathing based on one's level. I started with 30 seconds each round and now after 2 weeks, I am at 1 minute, each round. It also keeps a log of my activity.
