Way too many glitches. Quizzes don't get recorded. They freeze after the last question. So the scores are incomplete. App freezes and doesn't load current data. Terrible horrible app. The users of this app are already dealing with stress and then for the app to selectively work is horrible. Had to reschedule part of my studying today because the app decided to freeze again. And yes I deleted it and reinstalled it. (Several times now). Although I received some contact at first from developers, after I changed my review to positive, all contact or improvements stopped. So I revert back to my original review.
Flex and QBank seem to work for me, but no content shows up at all in the Sessions or Media tabs. And the search function on the Media tab doesn't work: I can type in the field, but tapping the search icon doesn't do anything, and pressing Enter on my keyboard just inserts a line break. All I want is to access my lectures when I'm on the move. Please. Seems like this has been a problem for a long time with no action - I won't a recommending Kaplan to my fellow law students.
The app crashes constantly, fails to load, and has some functions that are not user friendly. The videos are not efficient to use and the questions are good but the layout and answer system is poor. Disappointed for the money it costs to use the program.
I will just repeat what everyone else seems to be saying here: this app is completely unuseable garbage. Considering what most of us are paying for our Kaplan course I find this ridiculous. I would really like to be able to study on the go or stream lectures as review while I'm at the gym, but no. I have tried uninstalling, but I never get past the first page. Seeing all the other terrible reviews I guess that's the common theme here.
Update 2/4/19: new version allows program to actually work now, however lectures will not play past the first subsection. most lectures are 4-6 parts, only part 1 will play, which is generally only the intro. no substantive lectures are accessable.
If you take the class twice the class appears twice on your homescreen (courses don't"expire"). Then regardless of which one you click, the app never loads making it completely useless.
I am a commuter desperately in need of the ability to download materials on the go. I can't even get past the load screen, and a promise by Kaplan IT to investigate yielded nothing. We are paying over a THOUSAND DOLLARS for this trash and y'all can't even develop a basic app for the most important exam of our lives? This is NOT how you instill confidence in your customers. Wish it wasn't too late to switch to Barbri or get a discount since it is assumed and ADVERTISED that we get a working app as part of our package. Such trash.
Like everyone else is saying, the app doesn't go past the load screen. We don't have time for you to get your act together, Kaplan. We need this fixed YESTERDAY. Your programs are overpriced and not user friendly, the least you could do is help me study in the car.
I am very frustrated. Help!!! I am trying to access the course and download some videos but it won't work. It keeps loading. I have downloaded and deleted the app 4 times now. Who can I speak to? Thank you!
This app is terrible, the q bank does not work at all and the app does not sync with the full web version. Absolutely useless
Newly installed app shows schedule 05/22/2018 instead of 05/29/2019. Videos are not working. Reinstallation and cleaning did not help. Very disappointed so far
stuck on loading - app is totally unusable, requests for support have gone unanswered. the app is a good idea but is not ready for users.
worked fine for first login, then afyer that it just keeps circling "loading" and app does to load at all on my phone.

This app is atrocious. Absolutely unusable. I would be livid even if this was a free app, so my displeasure knows no bounds considering this app is part of a service that costs hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Disgusting.

the app is very similar to the website and helpful. It's a great tool to help study for the Bar.
So this is only to watch videos? Why can we not do practice problems through the app? That's the only reason I downloaded the app...

Go With Barbri! As others have noted, the app will not load. Kaplan reps preach about customer suppprt, but the actions speak louder than words. Perhaps they don't want students to study BREACH OF CONTRACT.

Garbage. Lost answers for 250 question test
I primarily use the app for multiple choice questions and while scrolling vertically, the app often jumps forward or backward to different questions... Very frustrating and simple to fix.. The average rating for the Android app is 1.9... While the Apple version is over 4... Please improve Android version.. Paid a lot of money for this program.
The concept of having an app to work on your prep course is great in theory however, this app is terrible. Besides the lagging , crashing, and skipping back and forth when trying to do multiple choice , you can't sync it . I made the mistake of working on part of an exam on my computer and hoping to finish on the app (as I was traveling ) and realized my answers weren't showing , so I synched hoping it would retrieve my already filled in answers and it ended up resetting the exam and so I had to redo the entire exam. This was for the midterm.. so I had to redo around 100+ questions. This app is really a shame considering how much students pay for the course and competitors having functioning apps
I tried to download the course lectures so I could access them without wifi since I will have to travel a lot in the next few days. This feature is absolutely pointless because it only allows you to access the first of the sequence. So for instance, in property 1, there will actually be three lecture videos under just one umbrella video link, but you can't access it by download. Poor CS programming. The rest of the videos are accessible by stream, but that's because you're taken to a page with a menu below the video that displays the next in the sequence.
The app constantly crashes. Text is cut off on flash cards. Suspending a quiz or deck of cards causes the app to freeze and does not save progress. It does not let you access downloaded lectures beyond the first. The app is useless and ultimately impedes my progress through the course.
PLAYBACK SPEED at 2x speed please. The Android app is not user friendly or supported, especially with regard to playback speed, which is upsetting, especially given the amount I paid for Bar Prep. If this is not fixed soon, it will be difficult
As others have pointed out, download feature only allows access to part of the days video lesson.
good when it works. however, 9 times out of 10 it freezes when you try to submit it suspend a set of questions or flash cards. it then won't work again until you've rebooted your phone. i would like to use this app more often while I'm out and about away from my study area but due to the constant crashes/freeze ups, I'm not getting much use out if it. it has the potential to be a very useful study tool but Kaplan needs to put some money into fixing the glitches ASAP.
