Kars4Kids Safety
Kars4Kids Safety is designed to fit your individual needs and schedule. Choose from an always on setting, recommended for those who often travel with children; scheduled on, where you choose the times you need the alert; and notification only, giving you the option to turn the alert on each time you travel. You can set these options differently for each car you use.
Note: Kars4Kids Safety app is designed as an emergency back-up to careful parental and adult monitoring, not as a substitute for such monitoring. Downloaded this app for research. During the 4 days I had it running it worked great. Every time I turned off my car and opened the door the alarm on my phone went off, reminding me to check my backseat. Easy to install and easy to use.
Good app, except it stopped working with Android 10. Also, noticed that if the phone is connecting Bluetooth via NFC, it also doesn't work.
Works well. Took off one star because didn't realize having media volume down silenced the alarm. Needs a reminder or warning to keep volume up to use properly.
I love this app & it did work great but when I switched to android 10, it stopped alerting me when I get out of car. Please update so I can too use, for now I'm going to have to find a different app.
I tried this out for my 2018 Rav4. It goes off every time I exit the vehicle. Great app.
it has 1 problem that if you don't have Bluetooth in the car it doesn't work.

Great concept, have had zero issues with it working. Has one major flaw that makes it less effective for me personally. The volume in this app is your media volume. I always have my media volume either off or very low. Because of that, I also never hear this when it starts to go off. This needs to have volume control or at the very least it needs to go off of ringer volume. Many people keep media volume super low to avoid random loud noises blaring from their phones. Other than that, it has worked well for months without any issues other than volume problems.
My issue is after I downloaded the app but did not make any changes because I was to going to finish in 30 minutes after my visit store. In those 30 minutes I received two phone calls in the store (meaning not driving in my car) but the app does not allow one to answer the phone. And then it shows no record of incoming calls.
There are no instructions on how this app works. Nowhere is there mention of the fact that Bluetooth has to be disconnected to trigger the alarm or where the alarm would originate from. I always have the volume down on my phone in case a video starts playing when I'm reading an article. This app won't work for you if you keep your speaker volume down or off like myself. I figured it out, but can see how people could get discouraged.
I can't believe it had to be paired with blue tooth just like the precious cargo app. With GPS a more effective way could be developed for those who do not have blue tooth. I know eventually every vehicle will have blue tooth. But that time is not now.
Stopped working after 1 day. No longer rings to notify. Set to always on and still no sound when the engine turns off. My volume is turned all the way up!
When alarm goes off it doesn't always allow me to unlock my screen to dismiss it
Great premise but desperately needs 2 things: a way to dismiss the alarm from the lock screen and a way to have different weekend schedule...
I love the fact that as soon as my Bluetooth disconnects it alerts me it just adds more security and safety precautions to keep my baby safe

Alert goes off constantly
Worked for the first time this morning when I got out of my car. Thought "Cool, that worked like it was supposed to." ...but have been at work for 3.5 hours and the alarm has gone off randomly 3 different times after dismissing the alarm. Have to uninstall as it disrupts meetings and work with its randomness.
Love just the thought of it even doe I haven't used it yet, I just installed it
Sadly people will stop at nothing to exploit others.This app does not work.

Amazing app, outstanding concept, good effort
I love the idea and simplicity. it worked great for the first day but since then has only worked every 5th or 6th time I get out of the car. bluetooth has synced every time for audio but app doesn't always notify.
