Kaspersky Battery Life: Saver & Booster

Works great at shutting down apps which keep launching themselves - best I've found. Unfortunately, that's only a temporary fix since those apps pop right back into your phone's memory within sometimes just a few seconds. It does seem to extend battery life, however. I have not found anything which can stop the bloatware apps built into the OS which insist on launching themselves for no reason at all.

It closes the open Apps you choose to close. It will not prevent the other or some of the same apps to open by themselves. For example, the Google app keeps running a few seconds after you closed it. But the other 3 or 4 that were running in the background, stay closed. For this I give star rating. It does not interfere with other programs or apps if they want to open. For that is anitger app. Great App.

I've tried a lot of apps that were supposed to optimise an android tablet that were both paid and free and ended up uninstalling them either because of the ads or because they didn't work as advertised (high user ratings). This app appears to work the best for speeding up my slow (over time has slowed down considerably) and that's what I was looking for.

It freezes and won't open like before. The last update screwed up the app. I now have to uninstall and reinstall every day! Fix it. Update: This is the worst app ever! Never will I use this app again. Freezes, crashes continually, and you have to turn on a switch inside the app every time you use it even when you already have it on. CRAZY!!!

Thank you for the truly free app. It does extent the battery life by doing what programmers should do. Programmers should set any app to close rather than drain a battery by running in the background. There are a few stick in mud apps that want to stay running even when they are not in use. Otherwise this app will close 99 percent of them. For No ADs I would give u 100 stars.

Stopped shutting down background apps (not included in favorites). Uninstalled/reinstalled, no change, thus rendering the app practically useless. It was the most important feature, as Android (PIE) already shows battery level and also offers Adaptive Battery function. EDIT: it has now restarted closing background apps. Glitches can happen in any software's life, and I'm convinced that KS is on top of their game, and sure of it as a long time KAS user on PC, so rising to stars to 5.

BRILLIANT APP ! Saved a phone I was about to throw out, thinking the non-removable battery was gone. The app looks at what's running in the background and draining power . It even tells you how much battery life you can save by turning off a particular process. Excellent app that manufacturers should buy and factory-install on all new phones.

I find this the easiest to use of the various battery saving apps I have tried. While no battery saver has worked quite as well as I hoped on my old Samsung Note 3, this one is organized well, has a great, non-cluttery display, saves some noticeable battery time and doesn't have ads. I don't mind some ads in apps as long as they are silent. I've used some other battery saving apps at night and all of a sudden a loud volume ad pops up and wakes others. So it's nice not to have that on this one.

My phone wouldn't last half a day without needing to be charged and I an a light user. I was at the point of looking to get a new phone. I installed the Kaspersky app and after about three days it identified an app that was draining my battery. I Uninstaller the app and now my phone easily lasts all day. It takes a few days and the first few are filled with lots of notifications about apps that use the battery. Once you filter out which apps you want it to ignore, you can easily figure out which apps are draining your battery. Great app!

Update: No longer works. Manually troubleshooter adding accessibility manually, manually giving both phone and storage access. It causes the phone to lock up with kaspersky's phone protector if you try to give the program permissions. Did everything a tech can do. Except using a previous version, couldn't find one. Deleting app, hopefully the internet security and VPN I purchased doesn't go south like this did.

I click can add hours shutting down unused apps. I occasionally hit it with one click and it does the rest for me I found a little trick is to charge your battery through bit unplug it and stop apps in the background again with one click. Even when I get to 100% I unplug it click and close all the apps in one hit plug it back in it will tell you there's a minute to charge and it will still love another 2 or 3 hours. I've managed to stretch my battery from a day in a bit out 2 and even 3 days. I was getting roundabout 4 hours Talk Time + a bit of Google and now I've nearly doubled and tripled my old usage thank you for such a great up highly recommend it to anyone and everyone good luck and enjoy.

This app was excellent for the time I had it installed until the latest update to Android 10 a few days ago. After the update it was hopeless. I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it with no luck, for some Play Store just shuts down when the download begins. I tried many times to reinstall to no avail. What could the problem be? I have reinstalled the app and it is working very well again. Thanks heaps.

Great app. It's easy to use , yet very effective. Honestly, I personally use Kaspersky for my VPN and phone security as well. There not a lot of ads jumping out at you like other apps. Also Kaspersky apps generally offer you very good basic packages that will actually work for you to where other apps try to force you to get the their premium packages before they will open their apps.

It does its job well. I was looking for an app that simply checks for my battery life; and it took ridiculously long time to find a useful app like this. Thanks to Kaspersky and their products. They always get their job done well. just one thing- setting up process was somehow confusing that I had to manually go to settting app and type in kaspersky in order to turn the switch on.

This battery saver is useful and different of others, but I'm waiting until currently to this app to have a dark theme, because dark applications save more power in certain conditions, so I don't understand why they do not this. In older android versions, definitely it saves your battery, but in currently versions, I perceive certain system apps aren't reset and stopped (like system launcher), and I stay disappointed for it, the other applications reset and save battery, so please, fix it

DON'T BE MISLED BY THE CLAIMS OF THIS APP...IT'S UTTERLY USELESS! It will display a list of apps that you can "Stop", but you can also select any you don't want to. However, the app shows the "extra" battery life you can expect on each stopped app, and, in most cases, it's LESS THAN 1 MINUTE, PER APP. I was shown 7 stoppable apps, so in total, I would gain less than 7 mins extra battery life...big deal!!! This app itself has to be running, anyway. Go figure!

Lots of useful features with nothing to do with battery extension, but lacked the one I needed, which was to suppress battery hogging apps from running in the background when I don't need them. There is a button claiming to do so, but it failed every time stating "could not suppress 8 apps". ie Chrome, messenger etc. Disappointing that the main function of this app is actually ineffectual.

Samsung Note 9 1 TB total storage needs great battery and power management. Turning off apps I'm not using, nor are required for the phone's background operations demand constant oversight to optimize for relevant app battery support upon request - whether by me or by the phone. Kaspersky has a wide range of very clean, competent and powerful tools for our IT/Device world. I have several in use presently for all OS system protections. Get any one - (battery) - you won't be disappointed.

The app is not able to remember that the accessibility options is already turned on thus it's not able to record correct information. I have to toggle it OFF then on again as it always says accessibility is not turned on when in fact it's always on and never been turned off. Phone is Realme , Android 9 and now it's 11. Looks like this app is not taken care of unlike the Security app by Kaspersky.

I have used Kaspersky products for many years now (from PC's, laptops and now mobile phones) which have all been of the highest quality. This App is no different and can highly recommend it, especially to those who have tried similar and found them too finicky and complicated. THIS has to be the easiest to understand and use that I have found and not just because Kaspersky has always been my personal preference for Anti-Viral and other security based issues. This is a 100% genuine review.

Wow! this should be standard software on every phone. use this app to get in control of your apps that like to start them selves in the background. see clearly which ones. basically, it puts you in control of what your phone is doing. very aesthetically pleasing UI by the way. very professional.

It's fairly good and accurate. It'll list almost all the apps and % using battery except for google play and system. Had another 'battery testing app' running which showed me battery usage by system files but ignored other apps. This one shows all the apps except system. The app is more accurate in estimating time 'until fully charged' Android was showing 30 min. The app an hour and 30 min. The app was right!
