Katakana Memory Hint [English]

This is really good, it helps me a lot to remembering hiragana (other app) and katakana characters! It's easy and the next thing you know it, you can remember all of them in a short time (if you work hard that is!) Also a tip for a beginner who just started, if you have already finished hiragana or even katakana, try to read random post (instagram and such) or articles that's written in Japanese. It will improve your reading skill and you'll get faster, good luck learning!

This is the best for remembering Katakana. I use a lot of hiragana katakana apps and this is the best. I had to come here to review because the app is very pleasing to the eye, nice colours and design. But also is helped me leaps and bounds on my Katakana studies. It has options on how you want to be quizzed and the option to not be quizzed at all and just look at the memory cards which can be played to be animated slightly of the picture fading to reveal the Katakana. I highly recommend this.

Amazing app. Thank you so much. The only problem I have is most of the time when I slide to the next slide the same slide will show up instead of the next one. I need to slide 2 or 3 times before it loads the next one. I had the same issue with my last phone. Besides that it is perfect

Amazing! This is only for Katakana and it seems like a pretty basic app. However, the quizing feature on this game is the best! The way it helps you remember is funny and the sounds and hints are helpful! This app does work better for review and practice the katakana than learning the katakana but that is exactly what I need and its perfect!

It's a nice app to test your Katakana knowledge. There's prounciation and good visuals. I wish the extended alphabet was included.

My biggest gripe is the gratuitous amount of romaji. It's made it difficult for me to remember hiragana, even though I learned hiragana 1st. Now when I imagine Japanese in my head it's not in katakana or hiragana, it's in romaji. I can spell words better in romaji than I can in actual Japanese. That's not okay, and didn't happen until I started using this app. It's a good tool to learn katakana. I memorized all of it within a week. But, it shouldn't be at the expense of everything else.

Honestly, I thought this app wouldn't be that good but it is actually really helpful. I recommend anyone wanting to learn Japanese to download this. I thinj the app would be even better if you made a writing practice! This helped me more then other certain apps.

I was struggling with all the symbols before. Right now I am memorizing this stuff so fast, I can barely believe it. It is going straight into my subconscious. Just what I needed! And sooo easy and simple, too! Thanks!!

Konnichiwa I think it is a very nice app. It helped me a lot in learning katagana. You can choose whatever types of questions you want . Well i am an Indian and it was very easy for me to understand japanese and i also learn japanese in school my teacher advised me to download this aap .it is very useful aap .if you are learning japanese u must download this aap for practice . There are no aads in this .its introduction is also very nice it will yell you about hiragana and katagana history . So it is an all rounder aap . I memorized Katakana in 1 day with this app. MAKE SURE TO REDO THE QUIZZES UNTIL YOU CAN PERFECTLY ANSWER A WHOLE BIT WITHIN 40 SECONDS. That's how you'll know you've got it!

This is the best app for learning kana. this is from Japanese foundation so I can really trust. this is a well designed tool with a genuine passion for teaching. better than my Japanese teacher!!

Learned all katakana really fast using this app, for me personally I prefer using pictures to memorize the symbols which this app is great for. Only wished they had Hiragana as well on the same app..

This is sooo much help for my brain. I mostly use this app for its Quiz Section cause i learned Katakana through Youtube and I don't rely on Mnemonic so much but Its such a great help for me. But now I decided to remove it cuz its no use for me anymore cuz i already know all the Katakana. And A Little ADVICE: ADD JAPANESE KEYBOARD TO YOUR PHONE. (I don't use the qwerty one cuz i wanna learn how to use it like Japanese people does but its your choice if you use that one)TRY ALSO THEIR KANJI APPS.

Great concept, bad execution. The mnemonics need to be improved, it should make sense both in Japanese and in English pronunciation. eg ice cream doesn't begin with あ in english. Saber is pronounced せい not さ.
