While the user experience and reliability is exemplary, it is still frustrating to use if you are avoiding animal products. Please consider adding the appropriate filter or at least a symbol for when a product is vegan. Having to carefully read through each description does not make for a great experience and expresses low priority for what i would think is a key part of your target market. Why aren't there more vegan protein options?
Very easy to use, great to have my order ready on arrival and not having to wait at the shop. When ordering a smoothie I usually order just before arriving so as to have it poured into my own reusable cup and help reduce waste. Customer service is fantastic when something does go wrong.
I tried giving the benefit of the doubt on 3 occassions. If the store doesn't receive the order due to an app error, or half an order is not forgotten, the delivery itself was a balls-up. It's ridiculous. Please don't offer something if you can't fulfil the basics. Maybe just stick to orders in store because that's all that works.
Awful experience, outdated deals and promotions still being advertised on the app and no real information, you don't even get a indication how many smoothies you have left of you take the smoothie deal. This app needs serious work!!! 2022 they advertise deal that you can't have in reality. Their customer care service well.... Doesn't really "care" as they don't answer any mails, they just ignore you and the staff at the outlets have no idea what's going on with the app and business.
TERRIBLE!! Avoid! Placed order which the app accepted but then said that the order had not been received by the store. But the order was in my transaction history and came off my bank account. No answer on the Customer Care number provided and store number 'does not exist'! Had to drive all the way to the store to find out that they have not received my order. Thankfully staff were understanding and made a plan for me but I will never, ever use the App again.
Unable to make a purchase i contacted the customer care. It appeared that you first need to register your bank card before you try to use the ordering system. I recommended they give an indication during the purchase process or in the cart, but customer service lady gave me an ear full instead of understanding the issue.
2 kauai stores within 3 km of me but they don't offer delivery. How bizarre. I have tried this app before and tried it again and they still haven't expanded to offer delivery in my area. Frustrating to go through the entire sign-up process for nothing. Perhaps tell people it doesn't work before asking them to share personal info. There's no need to register if you can't use the services.
I have been trying to load the new app, when I purchased a smoothie. . It won't load. have lost all vouchers on my previous app now,, for smoothies due to new app. Very disappointed. It finally uploaded, now the cashier informed me that I lost points, as it had to be scanned before purchase. This is just a waste of time, won't bother again.
I cannot register on the app. It keeps stopping/ crashing as I get to type in my email. I have screenshots to show this. I need to use the app to buy a Kauai smoothie subscription. It literally doesn't work. I have a Xiaomi phone and maybe it does not work with these. Why try sell products on an app that doesn't work?
if the app is going to tell me order accepted then i expect the restaurant to be actively accepting it. i got to the store and the smoothie - even the transaction for it- wasnt done. pointless waste of my time. might as well have ordered physically. I've received a response that this was fixed. It was definitely NOT fixed. Response: I absolutely will not be emailing. I'm STILL waiting for feedback from my electronic complaint and customer care phone call that was "escalated"
Didn't receive my advertised 50% discount and they charged me twice for the same transaction. Customer care said they will reverse one transaction and credit the other 50% to my wallet but at this point I actually want it back in cash as I don't want to waste any more of my time and literal money on this awful app!
When the app updated, I lost my points balance and order history. So had to start all over again, and before the update I already had 138 points. Other than that, it's an efficient app
This is the worst app ever. It loads for 5 minutes after every step and errors keep popping up. Never had any issues with the previous app.
TO KAUAI, Allocate enough money to hire a good mobile software engineer to rebuild your entire app from scratch (yes, they are no cheap!). Looking for cheap quotes won't get you nowhere! I'm sure if you paid enough money to guys who made this app, they would have done probably a better job! You get what you paid for!
I havent used the app but annoyed that yet again I've lost my loyalty stickers. first it was the physical card and now theres a new app that's discontinued my previous smoothie credits. how do you expect loyalty when you keep changing your programs?? annoyed....
Great app, easy to use and very convenient. Two suggestions - would be great if there was an option to state if order is for take away or eat in. And also, would like to be able to use our vitality vouchers in the app. Thank you.
Very disappointed as orders don't go through and ends up wasting time instead of saving time. Also waiting on money that was deducted for orders that didn't go through and still not paid back into my account. Endless struggle.
What's the point of installing it for only two functions? Just ordering ahead ( and then you need to travel to the store anyway so the app saved you about 6 mins of waiting in total) and seeing how much loyalty points one has. Uninstalled.
As others I was very disappointed that my details and my previous loyalty points were not transferred to the new app Disappointing! The same thing happened with the previous change over. I had 4 cards saved for a group outing and on arrival told, oh sorry we don't use those anymore. There was no notice period. I had completed the 4th card just the week before and the next week it had been discontinued. They were not willing to honour their own loyalty cards. Not what I expected from Kauai!
9 months later and nothings changed I have never ever gotten my order on time even if i have pre ordered my stuff with the "10-20 minute, on my way" option for collection", whenever you go to this store, your order will only get made when you arrive. Very disappointing I dont understand the point of using this app, the same thing happened yesterday and I also mentioned this to the manager, clearly nothing was done as the very same thing happened today. #kauaivirginactiverooihuiskraal #worst
The worst thing I've done with my time is downloading & using this App. No deliveries in my area. I ordered for collection, order failed - store didn't accept. Called customer care, promised to call store and revert, which they didn't. I had to call again & ff up. I was told the store is not picking up their phone. I asked for cancelation and refund. Told, ok done. After a day of no cancelation notice or refund I called customer care, told refund may take up to 14 days due to bank procedures.
This app gives a 2% loyalty kickback. 2%!!!?? On product priced at 50% premium compared to similar vendors. To the mathematically challenged; 2% means buy FIFTY, get ONE free. It's actually an insult to call it a loyalty scheme. Seriously guys, remove the loyalty and position this as a plain convenience payment app...competing against all the truly amazing payment apps like Samsung pay, snapscan, zapper, etc. Cos truly, you're coming in 10th place here.
Overall functionality is pretty good, but not much of a loyalty app. I have to spend around R2000 just to get enough points to get a free smoothie (slightly ridiculous).
Lots of customization options. App seems nice, although I haven't used it to order yet. The character limit on the special instructions field needs to be increased.
What a useless app. When you use the click and collect option, your order is supposedly accepted and when you get to the counter at the proposed time for collection the staff have no clue of the order amd begin making it in the spot. What is the point of the click and collect time option if I still have to wait for my food to be prepared when I come to collect. Your app is useless and so are your staff, which probably means your Head Staff are useless as well.
What Loyalty? I received no notification or correspondence that the old app was being replaced. Then I find out that not only are my "rewards" substantially less using the new app, but my old EARNED smoothies can't be transferred and have been deleted... The staff at the V&A branch were also clueless. Last week, coming in with the old app, the lady I dealt with took my details and said my points would be loaded. This week, when asking what the point system is, the manager tells me it's 1%...
It's really refreshing to have an app that works as it should! I've used it to pay in store and to order for delivery, both of which work really well. You also get 2% cash back on purchases through the app, which is amazing.
The app itself is great, but for sure reason it's using my camera in the background. No idea whether it's a bug or something more creepy. Either way I'm uninstalling.
DO NOT use!!App was great but became shady recently. I warn everyone the App was detected using camera by my settings. I'm not even using it and it accesses my camera. When I went to look at the apps that have permission to my camera kauai was not a selected one. So it used my camera without ever being given permission to do so. I'm not the only one judging by recent comments!
Works well as a loyalty app and even ordering food is a trouble free experience. So A+ on that front. My only complaint is the lack of a tracking feature inside the app for tracking the delivery of an order. The app says I will get an SMS with tracking details, but I don't. So I end up having no way of knowing where my food is and how far the driver is away from making a delivery.
