Still working in Android 8.1. for those who can't get it to work, here are some suggestions: 1. It's fine to fill in only the essential parameters like key, mode, crypt, etc, also make sure these parameters match the ones in your kcptun server 2. The parameter format is like this key=yourkey;mode=yourmode;crypt=yourcrypt, parameters are separated with semicolon. 3. Change remote port to the one your kcptun server is listening to. 4. If "unknown plugin kcptun" error occur, go to Android system setting - battery& power saving - power saving optimization of applications, look for kcptun, set it as protected application.
The great effort made by the developer to utilize kcptun to connect to ss server which greatly reduced latency and increased bandwidth utilisation. However it's a bit confusing in using at start. Remember to connect kcptun server port instead of ss servee port. Then follow the same format as demostrated in plugin to input your kcptun server parameters. Good lucm on your net surfing.
On Android 10 use this plugin error 255 libss-local exits too fast
Not functioning anymore, pretty bad, always DNS not resolved, even DNS forwarding enabled.
Impressive plugin, more stable than the old way using kcp
It doesn't work. Feel so frustrating. While mac client does work I don't know why.
Use exactly the same settings, some phones also need notifications permission for BOTH Shadowsocks and KCPTUN, be sure to turn them on and allow auto-start and disable battery optimizations as well. Good luck.
