Good idea, but execution seems very incomplete. Facebook sign up hung the app. I posted a job, it said someone would be there in 45 minutes, then 20 seconds later it said they were already here, then 10 seconds later it said the job was suspended with a support link that didn't work. Then, I restarted the app, it had no record of the job, and the help link crashed the application. I feel like I'm beta testing software. The next day, support emailed me and apologized for the issues, and a "Keeper" called me and arranged a time to come by, but then called later and indicated that he couldn't actually do the job that was pictured.
Had a phone "interview" with keepe. The rep wanted me to join. The info I received I find deceptive and troubling. They recommend an insurance co but gave me incorrect cost info. They INSIST you add them to YOUR PERSONAL POLICY. I believe they receive a kickback for applicants diverted and so they can benefit financially in the event of an accident. The rep never answered repeated questions re: immediate pick up of jobs and sent what I believe was a fake list of available jobs in my area.
App is terrible and the handymen are even worse! The contractors constantly flake or just cancel even after accepting the call. Great idea on paper but the contractors are really ruining what would be a great concept.
Service is lacking, provider was unprofessional. Booked appointment for next day between 8am-12pm. After 9 am the next morning, I was told that "unfortunately, we're running into a bit of a scheduling constraint this morning and will most likely need to reschedule. Apologies!" and "If your project doesn't get assigned here shortly, I believe the best option would be for tomorrow early afternoon." I let them know I had taken a half day off work. No real professionals here! Save your money!
Keeps closing by itself no where to find how to become service provider m uninstalling it.
This app drain batteries like crazy. No way to close ít after open. After sign up it keep say reply GO to your txt msg, which I did...
I have used the KEEPE app twice for handy man jobs, and think that it is a great app to use, and very helpful for chaps like me, who are "not handy, just handsome."
Excellent service and price.
It made what is often a stressful, difficult experience of getting home issues fixed, an easy and actually fun experience. My instant hot water heater starting acting up and using the Keepe app (which is very easy to use) made it a breeze to fix - all I did was take a photo of the issue, quickly describe it and then I got a response within a few minutes that someone would be at my house within 45 mins - I was even able to track his progress and know within minutes of his arrival. The person that arrived was super helpful, friendly and really helped fix the issue. I told my wife of the experience and she said she for sure would use it for our next home repair --- great app and service.
Perfect for knocking out quick jobs around the house.
Best home service app!
Absolute garbage company. We have been forced to use them because our awful home warranty company uses them as a go between instead of doing the work themselves. It is nearly impossible to talk to a human being with their "system" which is often down and makes scheduling mistakes (no one shows up) or wants to force you to pay a deductible when you don't have to ("whoops") or not use a provider you don't want to. They promise a lot but are garbage.
