Keeper®: Free Password Manager

I've had Keeper for a few years and pay a subscription for services. Recently (the last 2 weeks) the app has started crashing constantly. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, but it starts crashing again. It's very inconvenient and disappointing when I need a pw and I can't get it without re-installing the app.

I have used this app for year's and until very recently it was excellent. However in the last few days it has begun crashing every time I start to type in the search box. This is a total nightmare when you have a large database. Please advise on a fix for this issue. UPDATE This issue appears to have been fixed and it is working as expected again, rating amended.

Not only is this an extremely useful app for keeping passwords and other information secure, it's also very user friendly from my experience. Additionally, the customer service is top-notch. Top-notch. Long story short, I accidentally purchased two subscriptions on separate emails and they were willing to work with me to get them combined onto one account and extended my subscription to fulfill all months paid for with no additional cost

Invaluable app to those who have way too many passwords to memorize! Its a time saver! I hated, always, having to click "forgot username/password" button! Then, having to wait for the email to arrive to change my username/password. This app takes the frustration away... This app prevents a headache ... This app is a time saver! I've had this app for several years now. It has not let me down. Unlike other apps, with each update, it gets better not worse ... Thank You.

This is a great app I have been running for years on my mobile phone and laptop. However, in the last few weeks, the app on my laptop has ceased to let me log in and so I cannot access it on the laptop - still working on the mobile. It was set to auto start up once the password had been entered (password not changed) but nothing happens, even if I click the Enter arrow as well. Please advise how to fix asap.

I would give keeper 5 stars if they fix 2 things: let us copy emails/usernames easily on the new record type. I use records for easy copy and paste, now you have to choose copy from an option menu which is more tedious. Second, the upgrade ads inside the app are annoying. I already pay for the service as it is!

We are an Enterprise customer of yours. Your app used to work great on my previous Google Pixel phones. Now, I can't get Keeper Fill to come up at all when prompted for a password. I've reset permissions I don't know how many times and Fill refuses to work. I feel like Google is blocking you somehow because their password filler works fine when selected. This is a Google Pixel 6 Pro, the one with the useless fingerprint sensor running the latest version of Android. Please fix keeper fill.

You never know when reviews are honest and sincere. This one is. I'd be lost without this app. My wife (after 24 years married) sometimes teases me, "You can't talk and chew bubble gum at the same time." I agree slightly :). Seriously, though, I would never manage 120+ internet sign-on credentials without a simple (yet robust) app. My reco: get the app, use it and consider the upgrade (small $30/year premium). In my experience, it's worth it.

Doesn't work with DuckDuckGo. 99% of the time I have to switch over to Keeper, login, search for the site I'm trying to access, make the password visible, copy it, switch back to the website, and paste the password. Also, when you leave your browser, even if you immediately start your browser again, you have to login again to Keeper. It has become a real PITA. 🤬

It's been great. There are a few apps that don't play nice with it but, other managers have the same issues. This one has good features, browsers addon and works good across platforms.

Really excellent support. The app is generally useful, I just sometimes find that getting through the layers of security every time I want to access my data can be a bit tedious.

This was a great app for years but recently the folder organizational features glitched and now I cannot differentiate accounts by folder like I used to. Also, sometimes the app fails to load completely. The forced prompts in the free version are a nuisance as well. I'm going to be looking elsewhere

I have been a long term user of keeper, and have always preferred it over every other app I've tried. However it has an extraordinarily annoying feature that I hate with a passion and has caused me on many occasions to want to get rid of the app. While you are using the app it will have pop-ups that have to do with extra paid features, and there is no way to close the pop-ups without actually going and viewing them. This is extraordinarily troublesome! Please Fix this!

Thought this app wasn't that great until I tried the competition! Turns out it's pretty good. Though I must say that you MUST verify new stored passwords, as sometimes the name makes no sense and then I can't find them anymore. Also, the transition from windows to android is annoying, I wish that it could merge passwords in storage. Like my Spotify password is the same on windows and android

WARNING: this app can spontaneously not let you log in, essentially locking you out of all the accounts you store passwords for. The app will not let me log in. It says to check my network, but I am connected to wifi, and I'm not using any of the other things it says could be causing the issue. This means I can't access any of my passwords that are stored in the app. Thank god I was too lazy to change my passwords for anything important yet.

There are only a handful of apps that achieve the "Big 3"! A 'synchronicity of logic', a 'simplicity of use', and 'exceptional functionality'! Well done Keeper!!

This is a mediocre password app I used on my ios devices for a few years. I recently bought a samsung tab s8 plus. This app suffers from the developer not seeing enough profit to create a tablet app. So I am stuck with a extremely large portrait app. Please take the time to create a real tablet app.

Problems this week (after android update?)... Keeper was crashing, but was able to get it working. Love being able to find my passwords easily. I use this app daily.

Using over a year. Pro: fingerprint login, faster than any other pw app. Cons: as of recent when adding new records, app hangs/freezes while trying to type in information, then when it un-freezes after 5 seconds, you have a bunch of things typed incorrectly. Tried clearing cache, no help. Might be a bug, please fix. Pricing for subscription is ok. Sam Fold3 device.

I've used the "free" version of this app for several years. They slowly locked me out of my folders - trying to push me to purchase. Now I can't access any of my info. I am willing to pay for the service. Don't promote it as free and then hold my info for ransom! This app also lacks the flexibility and functionality of other apps. Spend your money elsewhere. I am. ...unscrupulous practices.

Lacking. Look elsewhere. Search and sync between devices/PC, doesn't fill all applications on Android. Essentially no reliable benefit other storing user/pass credentials. Came from another app hoping for better.

The autofill functionality with chrome browser doesn't not work. I have to open the app myself every time and close it again or put it in the background for the autofill functionality to show up on the keyboard. It's a bit frustrating sometimes. Please team look fix this issue.

I came to this app from Myki. I purchased the family plan to try it out. The UI is not as good and the functionality is limited, even in a paid version. When importing from my previous password manager, it did not allow an easy mapping of fields to the new database. When using in Chrome, it often does not pickup when login credentials have been entered for a new account. There are comparable competitors out there (like Bitwarden) that are a better choice. Also; No Refunds(w/n 1 hour of purchase)

I have been using keeper for some years now without any issues. Until this week.. The customer service were very helpful when i actually forgot my password they were very professional. I am up and running again.

Continuously asks me to upgrade to keeper unlimited in which I am already subscribed. It ended up subscribing a 2nd time so essentially paying $70 for a duplicate subscription. Extremely frustrating I just want to be refunded and not use this.

Excellent. Have it for several years already. Started with free version, trial, and finally got the full version. It was a great choice. Can't imagine without it. AAA+

Very unpleasant experience with Keeper recently. I trusted keeping my data secure. I recently got upgraded to a new Samsung S22 Ultra and had all my apps and data transferred. However, when I accessed my Keeper account, all my info disappeared and I could not access unless I pay for the service! I had to start all over again on this app! Very frustrated and disappointed which is why I give it 1 star!

It was great till they updated something on April 12. Now the app will not open and stay open. 200+ sites with passwords. I'm glad I updated to storage so I can recover them. Don't know what the problem is. Try to improve it and screw it up instead.
