KETV 7 News and Weather

The widget is useless. It doesnt show accurate weather. I live in a small town outside of Omaha. I need an accurate weather widget. Also I dont need a notif for older news stories I've ready seen.

Terrible design. When you click on a notification and the article loads half the screen is the video that corresponds to the story, however, there is an ad that plays prior to the video. There is no way to pause the video or to mute the video until AFTER the ad is done. I have had to close the app without reading the article too many times because of this. I shouldn't need to remember to mute my phone every time I want to read a news article. I will never install the KETV app again.

great app use it daily, best part of this app it sends you notifications when storms are approaching, strongly suggest this app.

I wish the radar didn't have stuck a long loop when checking the current cloud cover/ storm approach

Too many full size adds between stories. I hate having to sort through the adds to find the stories or to find where the story continues. Limit the adds for easier access to the news and the score becomes a 5.

I really wish you guys would go back to having the weather app separate from the news app and the fact that if you go online and view the weather off Google Chrome you can separate the Active Radar from the actual page and look at it in a bigger scream whereas in your app you cannot even separate it you guys say you keep improving your apps to keep getting it worse go back to individual weather app till at least I can have the temperature and stuff on my main screen on my phone very disappointed

I grew up watching KETV every night with my parents. There's no other station that I would trust for all my local news and weather around Omaha. I mostly use the app for weather and the only thing that I could think of that would make it better is a weather widget. That's the only reason I still use the weather channel sometimes is for that reason, other than that I would just love to switch over to KETV for all my weather needs. Love you guys, keep up the hard work. ❤️🌤️🌦️🌩️

absolutely the worst news app. they constantly push out breaking news alerts with no news story attached to it. breaking traffic alerts with part of a sentence click on it and it takes you no where. nebraska football isnt breaking news dont need those push alerts, cant turn them off. waste of space on your phone.

Scattered news and hard to navigate. i hate the annoying notification that seems to be louder than stock notification sound levels. However, probably the best news app for Omaha.

I use the app at times to just check the local, and it always tells me to update,and thenGoogle play tells me it's installed, and there is no update needed , it's annoying,and sometimes I just go over to channel 3 or 6's app instead, if this keeps happening I will drop the app and just usechannel 3's or 6's app instead!

I love this app I use it every day. The only thing I don't like is the constant commercials at the begiy of every story. It is quite anoying seeing the same commercial over and over again.

I downloaded the app because the website said Android users need the app to watch live news broadcast. The only thing I can watch is a local ad. Otherwise I can just click and read news stories just like I would on the website. No point in the app as i still can't watch the live news

WAY TOO MANY ADS!! I downloaded this NEWS app because I dont have time to watch the news on tv. Everytime I play or REPLAY a video, theres an ad. I'm trying to watch the news, NOT COMMERCIALS!

Did work fine, now broken. Click on a store, only shows headline and first paragraph. Says click here for mobile useres. Goesto same headline with different stories below it. Has moble users click here. Same thing happens. A never ending loop!

I have no problems with this app. Keeps me informed of breaking news and more importantly, up to date weather. 7 news is the only News & Weather station I ever watch.

Always have the weather at your fingertips plus breaking news. Only down part of this app is the commercials & you can't skip them.

They tell the news as it happens without injecting opinions, except on the cute kid or animal videos; they provide independent investigations into the stories that impact our daily lives; and, they seem to genuinely work as a team. Thank you!

i wanted a good local news app for my phone and ketv is my favorite to watch so i thought this would be a good one but besides being organized in an odd way, all of the world news is from cnn the most unreliable news source so i uninstalled it!!!!

It seems to cut off updates if you don't open the app but there's no point in trying read any more on the app because all of the info is on the notification.

Ok for local news & weather. The layout is kind of klunky and not well executed, but it has the basics.

They lost what it means to be journalist. Absolute dumpster fire of biased opinions, no fact checks, and tabloid news reporting. The local weather is the only good thing about them.

You all need to get the stories up to date!! I have the SAME stories on here for damn near 7 days!! With my job I don't always get to watch live broadcasts so the mobile app is where I go.

I like the news alerts on my phone and the straight forward no nonsense stories, good news and bad.

I live in Lincoln and the weather reports leaves much to be desired. I moved here from the Omaha area. Sure glad to get real weather reporting back!!

They don't care about any local news unless it's negative. The world is already too negative. I'm switching to wowt because they cover even the positive stuff.

Runs fast and smooth however the weather radar won't even load and that is the main reason I downloaded the app.

I'd like to use it, but they don't need to see where I am at all times. I guess I'll get my news somewhere else.
